God, it was such a pain in the ass to get an outfit that fit Jess, because, while Ezekiel and Ciana's softer/formal fashion (though honestly the reference I chose is probably more color than Ezekiel would ever naturally wear) fits with early 1960s trends, Jess is more rock-punk-"I have an green and black aesthetic and it shows." Which...doesn't translate well into fashion that mostly consists of this

(I'm sorry, but I love the center dress, and the right one, I will admit, is green and black)

So, uh, yeah. Jess's aesthetic doesn't really fit this. Hell, she probably wouldn't still have her green hair if it wasn't for the fact I purposely had her arrive a month before the season starts because I mean look at this hair

I can accept a more period appropriate hair cut — I also like a lot of 60s hair, too — but I refuse to get rid of that green. It is stunning.

Finally I settled on beatnik fashion, which is actually really Jess. And also French for some reason, I think it's the hat. I like that hat. The above is the best example, but there's some more.
