The villain had been planning this for months. It was so ingenious and notorious that it should have been so simple to come up with the idea in the first place: how to hurt the super hero more and what way of doing that is to capture the most valuable part of the superhero's team but their trusty sidekick?

He watched from the shadows. Watched her enter the poor end of the big city and enter a crumbling motel. Of course, he entered a couple of paces behind her, his red eyes mapping out the place as she held her keycard up to room 101, first room on the right.

He waited in the lobby, waiting for the superhero or anyone to check up on the petite girl; however, nobody came. Nobody wished her goodnight, tucked her in or came home to her. How unfortunate.

However, the villain hadn't been thinking about how odd it is seeing the superhero's loveable companion all alone in a shitty and worndown motel like this. The lights flickered as he exited the motel, the moon high in the sky as he tiptoed nearby her window, cracked open; how unfortunate.

It had begun to sprinkle. A light rain as the villain placed on his mask; however, that didn't obscure his glaring red eyes.

He took his hand, slowly opening the window up as he crawled inside the falling apart room. A weird odor surged up his nose as he clasped a hand over his mouth, ready to gag. Bugs sprinted under the bed as he stood over the superhero's companion.

"Hello, darling," the villain sneered, causing the companion to jerk away, slide against the wall and before she could scream, his cold hand covered her mouth.

"Be a doll and allow me to borrow you from your superhero? They have something I want from them and you're going to be the key in getting it."

He removed his hand when he felt her head shake 'no'. "What do you mean?"

"She won't come for me. You got the wrong individual. Go after Electron, he is her love interest.."

"Unfortunately, I already gambled and did all the math," he responded, grabbing her off the rotting mattress and holding her close to his chest. Unlike what he thought, she refused to fight back or squirm as he held her, which brought a frown to his face.

"You do all the research. You're quite clever. In the end, you always mess up my plans, it's quite important that you're the one I hold for ransom."

"You're... Giving me too much credit..." She murmured quietly as the villain went out the same way he came in, through the window.

"Nonsense. I'm only saying the facts," the villain responded back, his eyes narrowing a bit as the companion squeaked, "but-"

"Drop. It."

The villain didn't seem worried that the companion wouldn't remember her way to his lair, she ended up falling asleep, anyway. He brought her to his home, a business tower that he owned and went down into the basement, where his evil lair flourished.

He had gently sat her down on the couch, only hearing her let out a small groan as she rolled over and took out his camera, pressing the recording button and adjusted his mask so it was focused on his face.

"Mrs. Valentine, I have your companion and she is at my mercy. Meet me at town central tomorrow with 20000 if you want her back." He zoomed in on her face that he would edit ropes as he blamed the reason for not tying her up on laziness.

It was an hour later when the villain shook the companion awake. "Send this to Mrs. Valentine."

"She won't care but..."

"Just. Do it."

It only took her a few minutes to send the email and crossed her arms, turning back on the fluffy couch and snoring softly; her chest rising and falling as the villain softly ripped the phone out of her hands and noticed the video had been watched.

"Perfect..." He murmured to himself, turning away from the companion and racing towards the elevator and storming out towards the tallest building, Central building.

The rain never subsided as the villain paced back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth before finally grabbing out her phone and calling Mrs. Valentine.

"Oh, Mavy dear, he let you out?"

"Why haven't you come for her yet with the damn money??" He demanded, his voice raising as a stiff laugh came from the other side of the phone.

"She didn't tell you? She isn't worth that amount of money."

"2000."

"Too high."

"100."

"Too high."

"25."

"You're just not getting it, sweetheart," her voice turned ice cold as she hissed through the speaker. If he wasn't a villain, he probably would have shivered. "She isn't worth ANY amount of money."

And the other side went blank. The villain glanced over towards his tall building as he jumped, extending his cape and feeling the wind softly drift him towards the ground. His feet hit the cold pavement as rain beat against his hood.

This had felt all too familiar for him. Did Mrs. Valentine REALLY not care for her sidekick? Come to think of it... Did the sidekick ever have a name to call her own?

He took off his hood as he entered the building, clutching his mask as he typed in the secret code to get down to the basement and watched the elevator doors open to the sidekick exploring, her green eyes melancholicly droppy as she asked, "she isn't coming, is she?"

Her tone felt like a dull knife cutting through his ribcage as he leaned forward, softly grasping her hand as her eyes widened.

"You're... You're... You're one of the riches individuals and... You're developing a cure for cancer. Why are you a super villain?"

He only shrugged and whispered, "come with me. I want to show you something." She softly gripped his hand, allowing her fragile body to follow his. He brought her to a small chamber filled with outfits.

"I want you to be my sidekick."

"W-wait, r-real-really??" Her eyes widened at the taller male who once again, shrugged.

"Mrs. Valentine-"

"Camilla Fox. Her name is Camilla Fox," she murmured quietly to herself, her green eyes focused in at the crusty floor.

"And what's your name?" The villain asked, crossing his arms as her ears perked up. She tilted her head as she responded, "I have thought restlessly about what my superhero name could be... It's just??? One of those things..." She gave an awkward laugh before continuing, "yanno?"

"That's how I was," the villain admitted before crossing his arms and giving a nod. "However, you need a nickname that'll strike fear into-"

"Death by floofers!" The girl shouted as the villain blinked once. Twice. Three times before opening his mouth to hear her say, "this was my dream name when I was a superhero; however, my Mom called it dumb..."

"I like it!" The villain promptly said. It had fallen out of his mouth like a reflex.

"Really???? Maybe you're not the supervillain after all, hehe!" She gave a small giggle that seemed to thaw past the coldness of his heart. He turned away as a smile carved itself onto his white face.

"Now, pick whatever outfit you want," he said sternly as he turned around as the fox bounced towards the room, mixing and matching and outfit until she shouted: "done!"

He spun around and noticed she had a fluffy scarf around her neck, and wore a red dress with two katanas strapped to her back.

"You know how to use those?"

"Mhm! My Mom taught me."

"Alright," he immediately said after, he began to fidget with a gadget on his wrist as she asked, "why am I getting dressed?"

"Trust me. Revenge if the best medicine around."
