I started to wake up and saw I was back at the dream gate and it looked much more different

Y/N: Man this place has changed a bit

???: That's not the only thing that's changed

I looked around hearing a familiar tune

I then looked up and saw an old friend

Y/N: Hey NiGHTS long time no see, or does that statement not work here cause it's a dream world.

NiGHTS giggled as she flew down to my level.

NiGHTS: Welcome back Y/N

Y/N: It's good to be back too, so what's with the new gate.

NiGHTS: It's rather simple, it's changed because you yourself have changed.

Y/N: Changed as in how?

NiGHTS: Follow me.

I started to follow her with her taking me to a dark door.

Y/N: What's through here?

NiGHTS: Open it to see

I grabbed a hold of the door and opened it and saw nothing but darkness with it feeling cold and dead.

Y/N: Why did you want me to see this?

NiGHTS: Look closer

Y/N: GAH!!!

I fell back with my heart beating out my chest when I saw that and saw it slowly coming out of the door but NiGHTS flew in front of me and just poked it and started to cry out in pain with it shattering like glass and being pulled into the door and closing.

Y/N: WHY THE HECK DID YOU WANT TO SHOW ME THAT?!?!

NiGHTS: You see you experienced what it is like outside your universe and what type of things to experience with it with EYX being fear.

Y/N: Wait you know about the Multiverse and all that?

NiGHTS: Of course dreams expanded throughout everything from one universe to another.

Y/N: So you know about the Multiverse more then anyone?

NiGHTS: You can say that, I was there when it was all created from your universe to all of them.

Y/N: NiGHTS, how old are you?

NiGHTS: Hmmm that's a tough question cause to be honest I don't know how old I am, I could possibly be millions of years old can't tell when your immortal.

Y/N: I guess, you do lose track when you have immortality. So you said that universe is called EYX, what were the ones I visited?

NiGHTS: Well you already know EYX, the one you visited that looked like a Saturday morning cartoon is called "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" or AOSTH for short, it's not the most faltering name but it works.

She showed me a door that was blue and had a click on it with it haves hands pointing at the mins and hours instead of the normal arrows.

NiGHTS: And the the one you are in now is the BOOM universe now this one is rather different in fact the sonic or you in this world is more or less a town hero to put it simply.

Y/N: I see, so how are other universes made?

NiGHTS: It's rather simple, you see another universe can be made by different events being different like there can be a version of you and Amy expect the roles are reversed or a universe were Knuckles continued to work with Eggman, or one you didn't use the Chaos Emeralds to defeat Eggman.

Y/N: Really so does the Multiverse doesn't work off dreams or anything?

NiGHTS: Of course not, Dreams are just dreams. Like could you imagine something that you experience in a dream to be a universe. Like some people have dreams they are chased by clowns yet that isn't a different universe on that.

Y/N: Yeah should've guess that happened but what about different time lines?

NiGHTS: That's more of your friends Silver department but from what I can learn from it is that when you change the past it can make an alternative time line but there are certain circumstances that can allow one to change the past all timelines do reach back to the original can be revised or even be changed under those same circumstances but they don't change the timelines if any universe. But like I said that's more of Silver's department not mine.

Y/N: I'll make a note to ask him sometime later. So what you said about this place changing cause of what I'm experiencing about the Multiverse, so can you explain how I properly travel through out the multiverse.

NiGHTS: Only if you have a Multiversal map.

Y/N: And how do I get one?

NiGHTS: You don't you have to make it up as you go, it's kinda like you remember where you been to get where you have to go.

Y/N: So kinda like sailing, I think that makes sense at least I'm getting some type when it comes to this so thanks.

NiGHTS: Anytime and if you ever need me you know where to find me

She went back to playing her invisible flute with me starting to leave with me waking up in the hammock I was in.

Y/N: Man I needed that.

I looked over to see a couch with the Amy from this universe sleeping on it

Y/N: I guess she got tired watching me.

I went over to her and poked her with her grabbing me and holding me like a plushie.

Y/N: I guess I can wait until she wakes up.

I cuddled up to her and took a nap
