This song, I can't-

I love it so much, God I want someone to love me like a table... I did but then father dearest made me stop seeing him. Like Cindy said, you can't find a dang gentleman anymore, but he was you imbecile, if you got to know him and didn't judge him for his handicaps, you'd know I would have been in good hands, but nooooooo...

Whatever let's get started...

"Edrica, help the tiger from your nightmares is attacking the chickens!"

"*gasp* Not the chickens!"

Six snickered slightly as she read the page, taking a small bit of the ice cream with caramel drizzle and diced pickles. Three stared at her, before shaking her head.

"God, how can you eat that?" She mumbled, resting her arm on the bar counter, looking the other way with a small bit of disgust.

"Stuff happens. Where's Two?" the yellow outfitted waitress ask the other. The diner was oddly quiet today, not a lot of people coming in. Well, it was Sunday, so she wasn't all the surprise, but it was more dead then normal.

Suddenly the door was slammed open, nearly thrown off of its hinges. Two came rushing in, darting behind the counter, swiftly snatching the two by their aprons and dragged them to the back.

Six nearly choked on her bite of ice cream, hitting her fist against her chest as Two scrambled with her words.

"Girls! Oh God, girls, I need your help!" She nearly shouted. Three looked over to Six, slapping her back to help her, which only helped her a little bit.

"What is it, Two?" Three asked, about to grab Six to do the Heimich maneuver, but she shook her head, taking a large gulp of air as she got the ice cream down.

"One, we went on a date the other day, a-and-"

Three let out a growl before the other could even finish. "He broke your heart, didn't he? That's it! Six, get your shit, we're closing early and taking care of Chipped Tooth Prince Charming."

"N-no! Wait, that's not it! Girls, he-he asked me to marry him, and I said yes, and-"

"Hold up," Three cut her off, trying wrap her head around what she was being told. "You, what?"

"I said yes. Girls, he's really nice and he's just like me. We both love the same music, we both love stars and space, he's got a good personality, his sister is a sweetheart, and- girls, I know it's so sudden, but he just means the world to me..."

Six had an uneasy feeling creep down her spine. Two and One had only being dating for maybe two months altogether. If they do end up getting married... what if something happened?

"Two, I don't know about this..." Six muttered, seeing the other anxious fiddle with the end of her uniform's short sleeves.

"Six, you should understand this better then me. Those two doctors have been getting really friendly with you ever since the whole bar scene. One of them could haven been a psychopath, but you didn't hear me say anything, and look where it got you."

Two glance to the other's midsection, earning a growl from the yellow waitress. Three quickly broke them up, holding an arm out to stop Six from ripping Two to shreds.

"Easy, girls, easy! Two, are you sure about it?" Three asked, looking at the smallest waitress.

The blond gave a quick nod. "Yes, one hundred percent."

Three gave a soft sigh, before smiling slightly to her. "Then congrats. I take it me and little hissy bumblebee here are maids of honor?"

Two gave a nod, looking at them with a sheepish look. "If you don't mind..."

Her green eyes cast a glance to Six, who had her arms crossed with an small pissed off look on her face. She didn't met her eyes, sweeping her black bangs to cover her face.

"Six? Will you please be there for me?" Two asked, stepping to her and taking her hands into her own. Six groaned, looking to her. A warm caramel colored eyes softened as Six finally made eye contact with Two.

"Handing my best friend to a stranger... fine, only if I can walk you down the aisle since I know your dad isn't."

It was a known fact by nearly all of their small town Two's dad wasn't there most of her life, only occasionally stopping by at birthday parties. Six knew her mother would love to do it, but thanks to a bad case of Pollo, it would far to hard on her to do so.

At least she would be there to watch her little girl go to a.... well Six didn't know if she could call One a good man since he never really spoke to her when he came in the diner.

"Of course, I'd love it if you did," Two said in a cheerful manner, smiling brightly at her friend. She hugged both of her co-workers, excitement and relief on her face.

"I know it's sudden, but we already got Mr. Rodger's approval to have it here two weeks from now. It's gonna be small since we don't want anything big and grand. Do you think you two can find something wear that short of time?" Two asked neevously.

Three gave asked chuckle. "Have you forgotten who I am? I'm the girl that got all of us looking good for our junior prom all in one day. I can find us something," she stated proudly, hands on her hips.

Six giggled a little at the memory. Back when they were juniors, Two had misread the fliers about prom, which only gave them a day to prepare. Three loaded them all up in her car and skipped school that day to get everything ready for them. It was nearly $600 down the drain, but they rocked better then most of the others that night.

"Well, I guess it's settled then! I can't thank you girls enough..." Two muttered, a small line of tears brimming her eyes. The three shared as small hug, enjoying the small heart to heart moment before the door bell rang, telling them it was time to get back to work.

Two weeks passed fast. The diner had white streamers placed overhead, draped along the fans (Three made sure to place tape over the switch so no one flicked them), beautiful bouquets of flower arrangements were on tables, and Six felt like she was going to kill someone if someone asked for another pie after baking for nearly three days straight.

Looking at you, Five. Food hoarder.

But, it was worth it. Two was going to have the best damn day of her life if her and Three had anything to say about it. The two bride's maids were dressed in warm autumn theme colors.

Three had nice silky, orange, high low dress with small patterns that looked like leaves on the bottom of her dress tail. She stood next to the archway inside, occasionally looking to the crowd and to her watch on her wrist.

One was across from her, wearing a bright orange tux, a small white bow tie, with a swoop of his black hair sticking up like a horn. He couldn't stop smiling, bouncing on his feet as his sister stood next to him as his 'best man'.

She was a head shorter then him, wearing a black tux with a reddish-orange tie around her neck. Rich curly brown hair came to her shoulders, framing her thin, lightly tanned freckled face beautifully. Her eyes were a warm brown, like her brother's, like rich golden brown honey.

Six stood outside with Two, fixing a small star pendant in her neatly done hair. Six wasn't as lucky with the pretty designs for her dress thanks to added weight (why must all the pretty things be for size two people!), but found a simple pale golden yellow dress with slight ruffles at the end. A similar pattern to Three's was on the bust, with 'leaves' around the top that stopped at the bottom of the bust.

Two was gorgeous though, Three did a good job helping her and Two's mother getting her grandmother's wedding dress in perfect condition for the big day.

It was long, with a small tail trailing behind her. Long, elegantly lace sleeves covered her arms as it ended with a sweetheart neckline. A white lace choker was around her neck, though admittedly itchy, Two wanted to wear it nevertheless. It had carefully sewn beads on the top, with what looks like streams of them going down her shirt.

Her hair was put up in a fancy bun, two small, curly fly aways on the sides, that now had a silver star pendant in its midst. Small silver and emerald earrings were in her ears, complimenting the light make up she wore.

Six smiled at her, taking her hands into her own for a moment. "Last chance to turn back, you sure about this?"

"I'm sure as sure can be," Two stated proudly, squeezing her hands for reassurance.

The sound of the typical bridal music on the radio overhead made the two look to the door.
"Here we go then." Six held her arm out for Two, who took it. With a deep breath, they walked in on beat, slowly coming to the end of the runway they cleared out.

Approaching the archway, the music was turned down, silence sweeping the diner as the small group of attendees smiled. It was only a few people, Two wasn't lying when she said it was small.

It had her, Six, Three, One, Five, Two's mother, One's sister, and Mr. Rodger, really. They had the pastor of the near by church come to be the one to wedded them, but he didn't count.

The pastor straightened up, fixing his suit as he looked at them.

"Who is handing the bride off to this young man?" He asked, looking to Six.

She took a second to answer, before looking to Three next to her. "Her best friends," she answered. She held Two's hand out for One to take, who gave a small nod as a thank you.

The pastor spoke the normal words, talking about the couple and reciting a few verses from his book. Until, finally...

"Now, it is time for the vows. One, would you like to go first?"

"Yes, I would," One nodded to him, holding Two's hand with bright, cheerful smile. "Two, you know I'm not really good with words, but I'll do my best to tell you everything. Seeing you in this white dress, it sparks words spontaneous. I'm in love, and I don't care who knows it. I'm so lucky, I'm just so ordinary, and I ain't no poem writer, but... I love you like a table!"

Six gave him a confused look, as did his sister. Faint music was heard overhead from the radio system, making a small light bulb go off in her head. Is this man seriously about to break off in song again?

"My legs were carved for you, strong and sta-a-able. I love you like a table,"

Damn it, he was.

"I'm wood and you're the glue, cover me with stuff, and I'll hold it up. Strong and sta-a-able, I love you like a table."

Two smiled, joining in slightly as the music gain a more playful tune.

"I love you too, and I wanted to try and surprise you. I've written 29 drafts of vows that didn't rhyme, 30 was a drum line," she gave a small giggle at the thought, looking back up to One with a caring smile.

"Promise to do the best we can,"

"Say I do and tell you when I see you, I want to again,"

The music stopped. The pastor looked a tiny bit stunned by the two, but didn't say anything, going back to his job as he blinked to reality.

"Well, if no one objects, by the power vasted into me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

The diner was filled with applause as the newlyweds shared a small kiss.

Seven look at the chart in his hands, scanning over the words in the break room of the hospital. He would occasionally scribble on a small notepad next to him about suggestions for medicine. It was a quiet day today, which was normal in such a smaller town.

How did such a small town even pay for a hospital? He didn't know. He flipped to the next page, before looking to the doorway as the sound of running footsteps were heard.

Mono came around the doorway, and for the first time in a long time, Seven saw a look of panic on his face.

"Seven, get up, we got an emergency coming in," he stated.

"Whoa, whoa, Mons, you look like you're about to have a panic attack," the other said, coming to his friend's side. Mono's good eye was darting as his blind one stared forward blankly. His shoulders looked tense and he looked a little sweaty.

"No, Sev, you don't understand. It's Six, she's coming in and having that baby now!"

Seven looked taken back. "What? But she has, like, nearly two months to go, doesn't she?"

Mono looked tense, shaking his head. "Her damn mother pushed her into a counter top corner."

Finished - Oct. 14th

TL;DR: I turned a 1:55 minute song into a 2267 word chapter, I would like my pats on the back now please.

Until now, I never realized how bland personality I gave Mono, so I decided he'd be worried possible dad after learning Six hit her stomach on a sharp counter top.

... why did I write this book?

Awe well, something for future me to cringe at.

Hope you all enjoyed

Take care!
