Judith Pov

Mommy and I were shocked to see Alex beaten up dad in the house and taken him somewhere. When we heard the car pulled up, Alex got out and enter inside before shutting the door and sat down facing down. My mommy was too traumatized and scared to even look at Alex, I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder. She lifts her head meets my gaze and smiled a little.

"Hi, how're you?" She asked.

"Alex, that was...too much to describe," I said.

"I know. You shouldn't have seen that, but seeing Jozsef hurting you two made my blood boil." She replied.

"Mommy wanted to thank you, but she's too scared right now," I said in a low tone.

"She can thank me later, it's not over yet. I'm sorry I scared you both." She apologized.

"It's fine Alexandra. But I do have one question though." Maria asked.

"Yes, ma'am?" Alex asked.

"You don't seem to be around here, not cooperative with the other people in the neighborhood, and not even wearing a different style of clothing. I'm only asking you this because I want to know the truth. I've been seeing something different about you." Maria asked as Alex sat there hesitant and looked down at her feet before looking back at my mommy.

"I'll explain everything and even though I'm not supposed to. I have a right to tell you before the time and date comes." She said.

"Go on."

Alexandra Pov

I told Maria and Judith about me, where I work, what my time is supposed to be and the reason why I'm here. They looked puzzled or shocked about the way of explaining the reason why I traveled back in time was to save Judith before her father murdered her.

"That's it." I finished.

"So, Judith and I were murdered, burned, and Jozsef committed suicide so he wouldn't have to deal with this whole thing anymore?" Maria asked.

"That's about it, yeah."

"We've only got a year before we're both dead until Judith dies and then me."

"Calm down Maria, I've got this all under control," I reassured.

"How? Jozsef is going to kill us both!" She cried out as tears formed down her cheeks.

"It'll be fine. I think I can handle your husband and you two can get to safety without being harmed."

"I think you should leave." She said.

"What? Maria, I am not leaving until we discuss this after what I told you. How else are you going to keep your daughter safe when he's out there hiding the devious side to come back and harm you both!"

"It's impossible to get away from him. No one cares or even believes the fact that he is trying to kill us. He even told me that when we're dead, he showed me the gasoline can that he'll pour it on us and burn down the house. I'm traumatized!"

"There is no need to be scared when you have the right to tell someone. They can help you, I can help you. What is your decision?" I asked.

Maria broke down into tears as I looked over at Judith who stood there not knowing what to do. I sighed and nodded, "I'll let you have your space and for the record from all of this. Please note that I will be around if you want me to come by. You've only got 1 year left and Judith and your life depend on the line."

I walked out of the house sadly staring down at my hands flashing back at the fight that I did to Joszef as I got in my car and left. While I was heading back to my place I heard my phone ring which was none other than the Barsi. Maria is probably going to tell me something about the whole thing I just explained to her.

"Hello?"

"Alex? Are you okay?"

"Judith? What are you doing on the phone?"

"I called to check up on you. Mommy is sad and wants to make things right by arranging an apartment and divorcing dad too."

"I see. I'm sorry that you had to watch the fight."

"It's okay. Besides, I never told you what else he did last month, remember?"

"Oh yeah! You were shooting for Jaws Revenge, right? What did he do?"

"...When mommy and I were getting ready to leave for the shoot. He held me back holding a knife against my neck warning me if we don't come back then he'll hunt us down and kill us."

"That bas- I mean cruel man harming you two like that. I hate to hear it and see it happen to you until tonight." I said with a sigh.

"Alex?"

"Yes?"

"If something ever happens on the day I die. Will you come and rescue me? Even if mommy doesn't make it...can you be...my new mommy?"

"....Um...I don't know yet, Judith. Me being your 'New' mommy is a difficult thing to do." I said.

"Okay. I just wanted to ask that's all."

"It's okay. I will be there to save you both. I promise."
