Hayden's POV

When we arrived at the beach house Astrid dashed out the car before I can even park it properly. I shook my head chuckling while looking at her antics. After I parked the car properly I got out making sure I have all my valuables with me.

"Next time, wait until I park the car rather than dashing out before the car even stopped." I stated while opening the boot.

"Yeah, well my butt couldn't wait until you park the car, you were being slow even I can park a car faster than you." She replied while waiting for me to take my bags out.

"I'll have you know that I have excellent parking and driving skills."

"Sure, you keep believing that mate." She said while walking towards Ruffnut who just got out of the car. I just stood in shock.

Is she questioning my driving skills? How dare she!

I opened my car boot, and put one of the bags I was carrying inside the boot. You see when she said she'll come with me to the beach house I texted my mum, who was at home. I asked her to pack Astrid's bags, and drop it of at the school reception at lunch. Astrid can last a day without her clothes, and other stuff.

Sweet revenge.

I locked the car and walked to the front door of the beach house, where everyone was standing.

"About time mate."

"Yeah, yeah Snotlout I'm coming!" I shouted as I walked over to them. Bringing my keys out I unlocked the front, but before I could even step one foot inside the house Ruff and Tuff pushed passed me rushing upstairs. I huffed and made my way inside the house. They do this every time. They rush upstairs and claim bedrooms.

Ignoring the shouts from upstairs I turned to rest who were behind me.

"Right so how are we doing this?" I asked them.

"Ruffnut asked to share a room with her Hiccup." Fishlegs stated while making his way upstairs. Well I just got ditched by my roommate. Please let it not be Snotlout.

"Don't worry, I'm rooming with Tuff." He said while making a beeline to the kitchen.

"Great. I'm stuck with you." Astrid huffed turning around making her way upstairs probably looking for a vacant room.

"Yeah well it's not rainbows and sunshine's for me either princess!" I might as well show her our room then. I picked up my bag that was on the floor and made my way to the stairs as well.

When I made it to the second floor all that could be heard were the twins fighting.

"I came in here first, so this is my room?!" Ruffnut shouted.

"The other room is painted purple, girls like purple you take that one?!" Tuffnut fired back.

This continued for another five minutes, that's when I decided enough was enough.

"ENOUGH!" I shouted making Astrid jump.

"Fishlegs, who was in here first?" Fishlegs looked between the twins and whimpered. They know not to mess with me even if I was their friend.

"Ruff was in here first Hiccup." Ruff instantly hugged Fishlegs then kissed his cheeks. Fishlegs' face turned into a bright shade of red. Huh. I though he liked Heather. Whatever, I don't care.

"Tuff, you go into that room. Everything is sorted. Now shut up because I can feel a migraine coming." I turned around, and looked directly at Astrid.

"Come, our room is in there." Astrid nodded and followed me across the hallway to the room at the end. This is the biggest room in the house. I've had it ever since I was small.

"Tyrant!" Tuff whisper yelled which I chose to ignore.

I entered the room first dragging my suit case in, and placing it on the table. Astrid of course with a frowned etched on her round face.

"I still don't have clothes." I smirk, but she can't see it because my back is turned towards her.

"You can always just walk around naked. It's just me and you in here after all." I replied with my smirk never leaving my face.

"HAYDEN!" I turned around to look at her face. To see her reaction, but what I saw was even better than I hoped. She looked absolutely horrified at my reply. I couldn't help, but laugh.

She quickly broke out of her trance. The frown returned to her face. I still couldn't stop laughing. She stomped towards me with a pout playing on her lips making me laugh harder. She punched me, but I just couldn't stop.

"Hayden stop!" she pleaded in a squeaky voice.

I held my stomach as it starts hurting from laughing. She grabs a pillow angrily, and started to hit me with it.

What's with her and hitting me with pillows.

Fishlegs' POV

As Ruff and I started unpacking with telling me how I'm going to win Heather heart. I know asking Ruff for help in my love life isn't the smartest move. But a woman knows, what other women are thinking and all their womanly stuff.

"Buy her some flowers. That would make any women take an interest in men. Trust me..."

"Guys! What's that sound? It's so weird. I'm scared. I haven't heard such thing ever!" Tuffnut barged in.

"Can you guys please stop laughing. I need Snotlout time." Snotlout came into our room.

"It's not us. Obviously, it's coming from Hayden's room." I told them in a monotone voice.

We slowly made it towards his door, and listened in quietly. We couldn't believe what we were hearing. He was laughing. I was not the only one shocked, I looked to the others, and their faces held the same expression.

We rushed back to Ruff and I's room quickly closing the door in the process.

"Did I not tell you she's the one." Ruff announced. She's right. Since the day we first met Astrid, Ruff always said that Astrid is Hiccup's one true love. Snotlout and I thought she was being her usual stupid self, but now I'm starting to believe her now.

"Can't believe he actually laughed with her, and not with us." Snotlout said coming out of his trance.

"Yeah, I mean we tried to get him to laugh properly, and all we ever get is a chuckle." I added.

"YEAH A STUPID CHUKLE! That girl has stolen our Hiccup!" Tuffnut contributed, even though I'm pretty sure that he doesn't know what we are actually talking about.

"You morons, we should be happy. Hayden is happy finally so, we're happy. It doesn't matter if he laughs with a dog or with someone who's been with us a month. All that really matters is that he is happy. I don't know about you, but I'm happy for him. Now, he has a chance of being our old Hayden. Haven't you simpletons seen it yet?" Ruff asked. Snotlout and I looked at her shocked while Tuff was crying and clapping.

Weirdo.

"Preach sister! Preach!" Tuff shouted.

"See what?" Snotlout asked Ruff.

"Urgh! Boys are idiots. Every time Hiccup is around Astrid, even for a short period of time, our old Hayden appears. I've seen it, and Astrid's going to be the person that bring Hiccup's old self out. I just know it."

Maybe she's right.

Astrid's POV

I was running along the beach while listening to music. It was so calm, and relaxing.

After Hayden and the other's finished unpacking, we rushed downstairs to eat. Everyone seemed so happy to see Hayden. I mean they literary hugged him. Weird, but then again, I guess they are a weird bunch.

As soon as the clock hit 5 o'clock I told them I was going for a run. Hayden obviously, asked if I wanted company since, I didn't know this beach very well. I like running by myself so I denied. Running is the only time I can think freely about my life.

I was strictly ordered by Hayden to come back with in an hours' time. I shook my head while a small smile wormed its way to my lips. He can be so protective, it's so sweet, but ugh! I hate it when he becomes a jerk.

He's such a poop stick.

As I was running a 'ping' stopped my music for a second, and then the music flooded my ears again. I stopped instantly.

It could be Hayden, he might want me back at the beach house.

I turned around and started to run back to the beach house, while taking my phone out of my pocket to check the message I have received. After I checked I wish it was Hayden. I was few meters away from the beach house, it was in my view, but I couldn't move. It was like my feet were stuck to the ground. Tears freely made their way down my cheeks.

Why?! Why?! Why?!

"Why me?" I whispered. My knees gave out. I fell on my knees, my hand pulling my hair down harshly.

When will this stop? Why can't he leave me alone? What wrong did I inflict upon him? Why is it always me?

I can't let this happen. If Hayden finds out that I'm a freak of nature than I already am. NO! He will be disgusted, he'll tell our friends, and mine and his parents. They will all hate me. I'll be a nobody again, but I don't want that. I love having friends, I love everything that I have now. If my family gets to know about this, even though they were the very reason I was in this mess in the first place, they'll disown me. For letting people know, after all Haddocks were very influential people.

No! No! No! no matter what happens I'm not going to let anyone find out about this. I quickly wiped my tears, using the camera from my phone I made sure I looked normal. So that no one notices that I cried, then I deleted the message from my phone.

No one can find out about this.
