I closed my laptop and looked at Alex. We then both grin wickedly and high-fived each other.

Alex grinned happily. "If only Loki was in this world..." they sighed longingly.

I smiled at the thought too as I got up to get some water. But then I notice a light outside. I slowly made my way towards the window above the kitchen sink to see something clad in green falling from the sky. An unusual thing about our apartment, behind us is a big Field, pond, and a cluster of trees. I made a motion to have Alex come over my way.

"Tell me you see that too because I'm pretty sure I didn't smell marijuana on the way home," I said, still looking outside.

Alex's eyes widened as they gasped. They ran outside, towards the thing clad in green.

"Alex!" I shouted, running after them.

After getting down the stairs, I reached the clearing of where they were to see them helping the clad green figure up.

Alex looked at the figure, and felt their heart stop. Hoping that the person was who they think he was, they asked, "Who are you?"

I stopped short when I saw the face. Green eyes, long black hair, pointed, yet soft facial bone structure, and clothes I have seen in Thor the Dark World.

"Oh, my, god," I whispered, and I meant that quite literally.

Because shakingly standing in front of us, was none other than the God of Mischief and Lies himself. Loki.

He seems to have a hard time staying up, or even conscious, for he looked at us with bleary eyes, and then started to fall forward. I and Alex caught him in time as his whole gave way.

Alex felt their heart pounding as they glanced at their best friend. "OKAY WORLD WE NEED BRUCE BANNER NOW!" They shouted to the sky.

"Alex! Do you want to wake the neighbors?!" I whispered quickly.

I heard Loki groan and decided to take a good look at him. He did seem in real pain but however he was brought here, there cuts and scrapes everywhere, though some looked old wounds.

"Let's get him inside, and please don't shout at the sky this time," I said, slinging one his arms over my shoulders.

Alex nodded and helped set Loki up in their apartment. We moved quickly as we laid Loki on to Alex's bed,

"Clothes." I quickly said and the two of us searched to find clothes that would fit him.

We end up using Alex's though the clothes didn't quite fit him, as Alex was a shrimp. Alex didn't mind giving up their room. They sleep with Alexandria. They had awful night terrors, and Alexandria was the only one who could hold them down.

Once he was taken care of, I pulled Alex into my room for discussion. I started to pace my bedroom as Alex was watching me.

"Don't you dare tell me to stop because I want to able to figure this out," I said, continuing to pace.

It's doesn't make sense if he was dressed in his own armor, I would assume the abyss he fell through had to do something with it, but Thor The Dark World comes after those events, so then what?

I sighed and made a raised steeple with my hands, "Should we leave him be or have one of us take to watch just in case he wakes up?"

"I'll take first watch," Alex suggested, a soft blush framing their face.

What? It wasn't as if they were already crus- Okay, maybe a little. But that would be creepy. Besides, it's not as if Loki would ever return the feelings.

Right?

I raised an eyebrow, know her unsubtle of her crush on Loki.

"Okay, but if you feel like your going to conk out, come to get me so we can switch," I said.

Alex nodded and headed to their shared room. They quickly changed into green boxer shorts, a white lacy tank top, and a black beanie.

They headed back, twirling slightly. "Is this okay?"

"Okay, I guess 'low-key' isn't one of your quality, and you are supposed to be a spy!" I joked, changing in black sports shorts, a dark purple spaghetti strap tank top, "But yeah it looks good. Hollar if you need anything or if Loki has a dagger to your throat." I smiled as I got under the covers.

"Wait, it's not low-key? Um, should I change then?" Alex asked, turning bright scarlet.

I shrugged, "You could wear it, but it does have some similarities it Loki's color scheme."

Alex turned and changed the green boxer shorts to blue. "Better?"

I nodded and made an okay finger sign. Although I still had a burning question on my mind, "I'm just wondering how did he get here?" I asked before Alex could leave the room.

Alex turned back, tilting their head. "I don't know... it's illogical that it could be me speaking to the sky. That I know for sure."

I snickered a bit and but grew somber, "But, he was injured, and I know those injuries were not just from the crash, was he trying to escape from his cell?"

Alex nodded sadly, "I think so. Only time will tell though."

They grabbed a book off their stack of bookshelves and headed over to look after Loki.

"Shakespeare?" I called out one last time.

"Romeo and Juliet, how'd you know?" They called back.

"Tom Hiddleston was the Cymbeline, the connection was there." I said, turning off my lamp, "Good night!"

Alex held back a scream, frustrated with themselves. They opened the door to Loki's room and walked in quietly to sit down at the window seat.

They started reading and often caught themselves staring at the god. Shaking their head, they screamed at themselves. 'Get a grip, Alex!'

Even though it was dark, I still couldn't sleep. A god, and an actual one in our apartment! I wonder if tomorrow pigs will start flying. Still, I frowned at the fact how injured Loki looked. He had been so much, I just hope we can be there for him. And, there was a detail I notice when checking him that is close to making me cry. There were scar holes a lining at the edge of his lips...but I could not think on it any longer, for I fell fast asleep.

Alex noticed the scars above and under Loki's lips. They left the room real quick and brought back a lotion. They started putting the remedy on Loki's scars, blushing to themselves as they worked. They continue watching him for the rest of the night, before giving in to sleep.
