Zain eventually unlocked the door to his apartment. He opened the door for me and I entered right away, like it was my house. I went straight into the guest room, knowing it was where my bag of clothes was. But to my surprise, there was something else in there.

I got back out to clarify with Zain, just in time for him to come towards me. He probably already knew what I was gonna ask because he explained.

"Because Perrie thought I had ordered the bed, she said it was taking too long and she pitied you for having to sleep in the living room. So she had an immediate order delivery last night, for you."

"For me," I scoffed and then put on a sarcastic smile. "Thanks," I said, not sincere at all and slammed the door. I locked the door and started pulling my hair.

I didn't want living like this. I didn't want this kind of relationship.

Changing into something comfortable, I brought down the blanket and pillows that didn't come with the bed and spread it on the floor. I didn't want to sleep on the bed knowing that Perrie got it for me because she pitied me. I didn't need any sympathy.

I woke up the next day and managed to take a quick shower - then get dressed. To my surprise when I left the guest room, Zain was setting out the table for breakfast.

"Baby, I prepared breakfast for us," Zain started, friendly but I didn't appreciate it because he acted like nothing was happening between us. I glanced at the table. There were pancakes (some looked burnt while other looked a little too white for my liking) and scrambled eggs. There were orange juice and milk cartons for me to choose from. But I didn't want any.

Glancing at Zain one more time who was waiting for me to acknowledge him and sit down in front of the food, I walked towards the door and left for work.

* * *

It continues for almost every day whereby Zain would try talking to me and I ignored. When I got back home from work, Zain wouldn't be home and I would use the opportunity of sleeping early to avoid seeing him once he got back home.

It lasted like that for a few more days until both of us had the same off day. I've been working at the cafe for a week now and I've received my weekly allowance along with my off day. There was no way for me to stay in the room forever. I need to use the bathroom, water, and food and milo powder.

At 1 in the afternoon, I decided I badly need to pee and sadly there wasn't any bathroom in the guest room. So I unlocked my door and walked quickly towards the kitchen only to collide with Zain who was about to enter the hallway to his room.

I moved out of the way quickly but Zain held a grip on my upper arm. "Hey, I wanna talk to you," he said rather politely.

"I need the bathroom," I said and wanted to move again only for Zain to tightened his grip.

"Please," Zain said, "I badly wanna talk to you. I've missed you."

"Can't that wait?" I scoffed. "I need the bathroom."

"Baby, please stop running away from me. I'm sor-"

"Zain, listen! I need to use the bathroom and I'll meet you in the living room once I'm done. Do you understand me?" I said in almost one breath and wiggled my hand out of Zain's grip. I ran to the bathroom and only left when I felt relieved.

"Sorry, I didn't know you need the bathroom urgently," Zain stated the moment he saw coming out of the kitchen. He stood up from the couch and gave me a smile.

"Well obviously you didn't hear me," I said sarcastically. "You said you wanted to talk."

"Yeah. Hmm, can we sit down?"

I nodded and Zain calmly took a seat on the couch while I dragged a chair out from the dining table and sit down. I knew I was being mean but this time, it was my turn and I didn't want to care about what Zain was going to say.

"Talk," I said.

Zain didn't though. He stood up and pulled a chair next to me and sat down. "I'm really sorry," was all he said. I remained quiet. If he was gonna apologize, he should know what he was apologizing for.

"I know the other night when I was angry at you; I didn't have the rights to. I'm sorry I even had the accusations of you and Harry doing inappropriate things. Look Savannah, I love you. I love you so much and I'm sorry I do not know how to take care of your feelings. I'm tied with work and contract. I want to so badly bring you out and go on walks and dates but those are the things that I couldn't do."

"When I left you at the bus stop, I was worried instantly. I actually made a U-turn afterwards and I couldn't find you anymore there. I brought Perrie home and then I placed a sleeping pill in her drink. When she fell asleep at about 12, I went out to look for you. You may think that I am just making this up so that you would believe me but no, I really did it. I was worried."

"But I also know I shouldn't have left you there despite whatever situation it was. I could feel the heated moment when Perrie commented how you weren't dressed nicely for a date and I didn't want you two to have an argument, so I ended it by stopping you there. I'm really sorry. Please forgive me," Zain begged as he gripped both my hands in his.

Was that all I need to know? No. There was a lot more but I knew that Zain was using a lot of courage to tell me all of these. If he was willing to put his ego down, why couldn't I?

"Make it up to me," I said softly.

"Oh, I will. I promise I will," Zain agreed almost immediately and excitedly. He leaned down, kissing both of my knuckles before moving to kiss my forehead. Not enough with that, he pulled me to his lap and hugged me tightly.

He hugged me too tight that I was gonna cry, but not in pain. But because I realized I've missed my boyfriend. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him back. I needed this to reassure myself that he was still my boyfriend; that he still loved me.

We both needed this.

"Shall I make something for breakfast?" Zain murmured the question into my hair.

"Yes," I answered, shamelessly.

"Alright, come on," he said, pulling away only to sweep my feet off the ground. I didn't protest. I wrapped my arms around his neck and let him carry me into the kitchen. Zain settled me on the counter while he grabbed a mug.

I watched him without saying anything. The next he did was scooping a few spoons of Milo powder into the mug he took earlier before passing it to me.

"You can eat those first while I prepare something," Zain informed.

"You remember my guilty pleasure," I stated. I remembered telling him about my obsessions with milo powder.

"I do. And I do realize how my milo powder is actually decreasing day by day," Zain joked.

"Do you mind?" I asked, quietly.

"Mind what?"

"Me finishing your milo powder."

"Of course not, baby. I don't usually drink them but I bought a tin to keep in store about a week before you arrived here," Zain informed, "So practically I bought them for you."

I grinned and started my take on the Milo powder while Zain, I saw taking out some frozen sausages and eggs. He also took some potatoes.

"What are we making?" I asked.

"I don't really know but let’s just see what I can come out with these ingredients."

* * *

Zain ended up chopping the potatoes into slices and fried them; making chips. The sausages were boiled as it is and the eggs were fried. Zain poured both of us two big glasses of apple juice.

We had our brunch in front of the TV with the first High School Musical on. It wasn't a movie of my choice but I doubt it was Zain’s either. But we both didn't mind. We just sat there, next to each other, knees touching and ate our breakfast that Zain had nicely arranged on a tray (that was now on his lap).

We stayed like that until our food finished and I was satisfied. But I spoke too soon because at 4 in the afternoon, we received a vigorous knock on the door.

"I'll go get it," I offered.

"Nah its okay," Zain said and got up, transferring the empty tray to the table and went to the door. I watched him as he slowly unlocked the door and...

"Let's go to the carnival!" They screamed and by they, I meant the boys and unfortunately, Perrie.

"Carnival?" I heard Zain said.

"Yeah," Perrie answered enthusiastically, "I tried to reach you up but to no avail and Harry contacted Savannah too but she too can't be contacted."

Zain turned around to look at me and we exchanged glances for a minute before I said, "Sorry, my phone was in the room. We were watching HSM."

"That's fine," Perrie waved off and then all of them entered the apartment. I saw Perrie linking her arms with Zain's while Zain put on his guilty face.

Harry came to greet me but I was too 'busy' to realize that he came to me because I was eyeing Zain and Perrie. Perrie happily took Zain's hand and led him to the empty couch. Pushing Zain down, Perrie sat on his lap and that was my cue to look away and at the same time aware of Harry's presence next to me.

I threw him a simple smile, hoping I didn't look too upset witnessing my boyfriend with another female.

"So are you gonna get ready?" Harry asked.

"Get ready?" I questioned him back.

"Were you even listening Savannah?" Harry chuckled. "We're going to the carnival so, get changing. Wear something comfortable."

"Oh. Uhm, I think I'll stay at home - you guys can go ahead," I politely rejected the offer.

"Oh you're no fun Savannah," Niall stated and jutted his bottom lip as he looked at me. I was staring back him because Niall Horan was talking to me like a normal friend would.

"Come on Savannah. Join us! The more the merrier," Perrie said next. I wanted to roll my eyes but I had to put a face on. I looked at Harry who was showing me his puppy eyes look.

"Fine," I said loudly but I was more or less directing it to Harry. Harry clapped his hands childishly while I got up from the couch. I tried ignoring Zain and Perrie when I past them and successfully made into the guest room.

I picked long-sleeved t-shirt and black jeans. I was about to remove my current clothes when the door just burst open and Zain entered.

"What the hell Zain, I could be naked," I scolded and I was actually shocked with that coming out from my mouth. I never scolded Zain nor did I ever use 'what the hell' phrase. I must be very angry and disappointed.

"I'm sorry," Zain said simply but quickly, "I didn't mean for them to interrupt our day together but we can't possibly not go. Are you okay with it?"

"If I said no, would you even bother?" I hissed.

"Come on Savannah, please," Zain said sounding begging and I actually didn't know what exactly he was begging for.

"I'm changing and we're going to the carnival. While you have Perrie all over you, I pretty much sure Harry wouldn't abandon me," I scowled and pushed Zain towards the door.

"Please... I'm sorry," Zain said, one last time before I opened the door and pushed him out of the room.
