I chased him.
"Wait! Your majesty, wait!" I shouted. But that's when Mark went running past. "Your majesty!! YOUR MAJESTY!" He screamed. The King immediately turned around at the sound of Sir Mark. Mark looked completely worn, like he could fall apart at any given moment. "Sir Mark. What is the problem?", "A neighboring kingdom is attacking!" Mark shouted between gasps. "Where's General Pollen!? You should be out there!" King William yelled. "He's.. He's caught up in the mess, your majesty." Mark replied. "Is he still alive?" The King questioned. "As far as I know, yes." Mark replied.
"Stay here, Gloria. I must go protect the citizens of my kingdom." He said, grabbing Mark and running down the corridor.... I looked out of a green stained glass window. It was hard to see, but not impossible.
Mark was right.. There was another kingdom attacking.. They were large and oppressive. I must say I was scared..
"They won't let them invade..." I told myself... After a while, I started to believe it.

All of a sudden, I heard a noise from behind. I turned to see.. Sam. After hearing the story.. I was bit disgusted.. "Oh.. Hi." I muttered. 'He' was shaking like he was scared. "I suppose you're scared for William?" I ask, kneeling beside him. "Don't worry, little guy. He's king for a reason.. He'll do everything he can to protect us." I said. "Hopefully...." I thought. All of a sudden, the stain glass window shattered. "Ahhh!" I screamed, taking cover. Shards of green glass stuck to my clothing and fell into my hair. My eyes flashed to Sam who lay balled up. "Sam? Are you alr-" I had realized the answer to my question... "Sam!" I was terrified. A large shard of glass was pierced into his... Self. He looked really bad... The blood from the wound stained his only way of sight..
"I'll... I'll help!" I said, determined. I clutched him in my hands, cringing a bit and began to pull it out.
-------------------------------------------------------Jack the Merciful-------------
"Ack!" I screamed. My right eye was in excruciating pain.. Even more than usual! I could hardly see with it! This couldn't be my focus... I need to help my kingdom! I rode through crowds of hurrying citizens having trouble not covering my terrible eye. "You!!" A gruff voice shouted. "King William of Farclude! Face me!" They yelled. I could tell who this was.. Lord Icarus of the Islands Across the Sea.. As I called them. They must have a specific name, I just didn't care for it. "Lord Icarus.." I mutter. "You heard me! Let us duel!" He shouted. Icarus was a buff man of 45 years.. I know that he's extremely lucky.. He got out of two plaques healthy. Not just that.. But I'm 20 and he's 45. (I'm going by Reigns age not Jack's actual age. Also, happy late birthday Sean!) "Alright.. A duel shall be had!" I respond, drawing my sword. As always, a green aura radiated around it which seemed to surprise my oponent. My vision started getting worse.. I couldn't see if I tried.. I could hear his sword unsheeth... "And... Begin!" He yelled, and his horse began to charge towards mine. Naturally, Tavian cantered towards his horse. I didn't even have to flick the reigns.
This was jousting. I was always pretty good at it in my youth... Although....

Using my instincts, for this ride-by I guarded... His sword smacked mine.. Hard. It made it's natural "Nnkkk!" Noise as it did. I managed to turn Tavian around in good time. We started forward and I readied my attack. I could hear the fast clip-clops of his horse approaching. This was it. I am attacking. He could either be attempting an attack... Or he could be defending... I must not yield.

    We got in range and!-....
I felt my sword slam.. And my opponent fall of of their horse.
