Chapter 10

"We have to go to the police station, if someone really did kidnap her, we need all the help we can get from the police. The kidnapper is probably too far from us right now to catch up." Yuri said, quickly opening the door to her car but Yoona stopped her.

"She's missing for under 48 hours, would the police do anything?"

"This is THE Tiffany Hwang we're talking about, not some random person off the street!" Yuri hollered. "Call her number right now, see if the perpetrator picks up on the call."

Yuri was worried, like really, really worried, But she quickly shook her head out of those negative thoughts and focused on ways to get her back - not just panic and do nothing.

"I don't have my cellphone with me right now, but I know her number!" Yoona said, looking over at Seohyun who had already taken out her cell phone, ready to call the number.

"301-342-7611"

She quickly punched in the numbers and place the call on speaker mode.

"I'm sorry, the number you have dialed is not available, please hang up and call again later."

"GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE!" Tiffany yelled as the 'kidnapper' took away her phone and quickly shut it off before placing it in his front pocket.

"I will give it back to you as soon as we reach our destination, Ms. Hwang." He said composedly, crossing his arms, as was with the other 2 guys in the car. Tiffany was afraid, she can't help but linger those thoughts about these 'kidnappers' murdering her and that today was her last day on the face of the Earth - Tiffany shivered at the weird thoughts.

"I want to know who told you to do this, WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE? I DEMAND YOU TO TELL ME NOW! ARE YOU KIDNAPPING ME FOR MONEY!? I can give it to you!" Tiffany shouted out, demanding for an answer but no answer was given to her.

"You'll see when you get there." The guy said brusquely, suddenly his cellphone rang; startling him.

"Did you do what I told you to do?" The voice said over the phone, sounding urgent.

"Yes, Mr. Lee. She's in the van with me and the guys now, we're heading towards the destination."

"WHO ARE YOU!? AND WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH ..hmhmghgh —" Tiffany shouted, but her voice trailed off muffled when the guys quickly covered her mouth.

"Remember, do not hurt her. You understand me?"

"Yes, sir." The guy answered, making a motion with his hands to tell the other guys to lay off of Tiffany.

Tiffany swiftly wiped her mouth off vigorously with the arm sleeve of her shirt. "Don't touch me again, ever!" she instructed and by the looks on the guys' faces, you can tell they wanted to teach her a lesson, a lesson which involves their hands coming into contact with her cheek.

"Let me talk to her." Another voice was heard through the phone.


"Yes, sir." The guy said, handing the phone to Tiffany who was dying to know what the hell was going on around here.

"Tiffany, baby, how are you?"

Tiffany scoffed at the familiar voice, "Choi Siwon, I should have known. You set up people to kidnap me? are you that low? what do you want?"

"Whoa, why so many questions at once? But okay, I'll answer just one of them, my mens have been ordered by me to escort you to my house, there you will change into the dress I told the maid to buy for you this morning, and finally, you will be going to my parent's house for dinner."

"Are you joking me?" Tiffany sneered, "Escort me? yeah, more like kidnapping me."

Siwon laughed, "Call it whatever you want, I did this as a last resort because you and that girl ran away from me last time at the concert and you wouldn't pick up my calls. I told you my parents wanted to meet with you for dinner. Who was that girl anyway? she's too tall to be Sunny."

"That girl's identity is none of your business. Your parents wanting to meet me is none of my business either, I do NOT want to be affiliated with you or your family in any way."

"Are you sure about that? what about your family? I'm sure they DO want to be affiliated with MY family. It was your dad's idea to hook us up, it was his greedy idea that he wanted my dad's company and his to join up. Not to burst your bubble babe, but you have to go through with this. His company is bankrupting and he needs my dad's help."

"Don't kid with me, the stocks for my dad's company is on the rise." Tiffany scoffed, this can't be happening, he's just bluffing her. Tiffany was sure of it. She thinks she's sure of it. She 'thinks'. No, she hoped.

"Should I tell my guys to go on the internet to bring up the stocks info? Does it look like I'm playing with you?" Siwon asked, his voice was calm and serious this time - sending up chills to Tiffany.

"Yes" Was what Tiffany hoped the 'answer' would be, but it wasn't.

Siwon laughed at her silence, "I am not playing with you. Listen to me like a good girl I wished you would be and everything would be alright."

"Give me a break, why do you want me to marry you for? You don't love me, I don't love you. What's the point—"

"— How do you know that I don't love you?" Siwon interrupted.

Tiffany scoffed at the far-fetched statement, "You make me laugh."

"'Ello, what can we help you guys with toda—" The police men started before he was interrupted by the impatient Yoona, actually, Yuri was going to interrupt him too, it's just that Yoona was quicker by a beat.

"—MY SISTER WAS KIDNAPPED!" She shouted, causing all eyes in the police station to look upon her like she was some crazed women.

"Please calm down, take a seat and tell me what happened." He said, making a gesture for Yoona, Yuri and Seohyun to sit down on the chairs. When the trio sat down and was in a composed state, he asked again, "Slowly, tell me what happened."

Yoona began to describe the situation, "We were at this medical center to help volunteer, it was at the end of the day and we were all done so I told her to wait outside the main doors so I can get my car and pick her up and after that I came to look for her but she was—"

"Do we really need to tell you all of this? IT'S TIFFANY HWANG THAT'S BEEN KIDNAPPED FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" After Yuri finished her sentence, a dozen eyes looked her way, 'Nah, that's probably not THE Tiffany Hwang she's talking about' was what those people thought before going back to doing their business.

"Excuse me?" The police men asked.

"Tiffany Hwang, the famous actress, Tiffany Hwang." Seohyun repeated quietly for the dumbfounded officer.

"Ti..ffa..ny Hwang?" He stuttered, "Call the squads, we're going out to find her!" He said enthusiastically standing up, but was pooped when a call came to Seohyun's cell.

"It's from Tiffany unnie!" She said, showing Yuri and Yoona the caller ID but not knowing what to do next,

"Well, hurry and pick up the phone!" Yuri rushed her, but instead of Seohyun picking the call up like she was told, she panicked and handed the phone over to Yuri.

"Hello!? what have you done to Tifffany!?" Yuri demanded, but was surprised when she heard the voice.

"It's me!" Tiffany answered on the line.

"What happened to you? where are you?" Yuri asked repeatedly.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. Apparently I was 'escorted' by Siwon's mens to go to his family dinner."

"What!? so where are you now?"

Tiffany sighed, "Didn't I just tell you? I'm on my way to his parent's house right now for some dinner, but I'll be back home late night, at around 11 to 12 AM."

"Remember what happened before, don't trust him." Yuri advised, but Tiffany laughed.

"I'm not a kid, I can take care of myself. I have to go now. Bye." Tiffany said lastly before hanging up the phone, causing Yuri to follow suit.

"She's alright now. She's at Siwon's parent's house." Yuri stated with a sigh of mixed relief. Relieved that Tiffany was safe and sound, but worried that she was 'safe' and 'sound' under the hands of Siwon.

"SIWON? —" Yoona clenched her fist tightly.

She would never forgive him for what he had once 'tried' to do to Tiffany in the past. She warned her sister before not to go on the date with him, but guess what happened in the end? sure, her sister wasn't harmed that day, but Yoona would never forgive this despicable basturd.

"Oh! Tiffany dear, you look much prettier in real life than on TV. I'm surprised!" Mrs. Choi said happily, Tiffany as she brought her in for a hug.

"'Surprised'? what's that suppose to mean?"

"Uhm..thanks, Mrs. Choi." Tiffany said half heartedly as she tried to free herself from the hug.

"I'm glad your father had allowed Siwon to date you, I'm proud of my boy to have you as his girlfriend." Mr. Choi extended his hands, presumedly awaiting a handshake from Tiffany, and she gave it to him.

"Actually Mr. and Mrs. Choi, me and Siwon are—"

"Dating happily right now! I'm GLAD to have her as my girlfriend." Siwon enunciated, interrupting what Tiffany was about to say.

"C'mon Tiff, shall we have dinner now? huh mom and dad?"

"I guess the chef is done cooking, let's go eat now." Mr. Choi said, walking over to the large dinner table and sat down promptly in the head, middle chair.

"You can all sit down." He ordered, and Siwon made sure Tiffany sat next to him.

"So, Tiffany, Siwon told me that he loved you a lot. It's really surprising to me to hear that." Mrs. Choi started.

"Yeah, I'm surprised too." Mr. Choi added.

"Oh, really?" Tiffany said, letting out a laugh. He sure made it seemed that he really loved her. Not.

"Yes, mom and dad. I really love Tiffany, I'm sure she feels the same about me too, right?" Siwon asked, looking at Tiffany as he awaits for her answer, and 'no' wasn't in the options Tiffany had to choose from.

"YES! we're MADLY in love." Tiffany enunciated slowly, though, of course it was the total opposite of what she just said.

"Don't you think we are the perfect match?" Siwon asked his parents. Tiffany threw up a little in her mouth.

"Absolutely! I'm proud of you, Siwon." Mrs. Choi responded, smiling brightly towards Tiffany. She had no choice but to fake a smile either.

"We have plans to get engaged already."

Tiffany immediately sprung her head around to look at Siwon, what the heck was he talking about?

"Me and Tiffany are deeply in love, I really want to spent the rest of my life with her." He said passionately, from a view, it does look like he was in love with her, but from up close, it was too much of a lie to pass as the truth.

"What?" Tiffany whispered to him.

"Your dad's company, is in your hands. He smiled and whispered back to her.

"Is that so?!" Mrs. Choi sprung up from her chair, "I'll be the happiest mother in law to have Tiffany as my daughter, this is great!"

Was he for serious? Tiffany thought. This can't be happening. To give up her happiness, or to give up the decades of years her father spent to make the company what it is now? Tiffany can't think straight right now.

"Excuse me for a minute." Tiffany stood up and bowed, signaling Siwon to come out with her.

Tiffany scoffed, "The engagement was unnecessary."


"It's necessary for me." Siwon replied back.

"I DON'T LOVE YOU, and most importantly, YOU DON'T LOVE ME! how many times do I have to stress that out? why do you want to do this to me?!"

Siwon tightened his fist, "Because I love you!"

"Love me?" Tiffany crossed her arms and sneered, "You love no one but yourself."

"What do you want me to do to prove that I love you?" He asked with finality.

"What you tried to do to me before proved me everything I needed and wanted to know. You're a despicable basturd."

"I'm sorry!, I couldn't help myself, it was a bad mistake. But nothing happened that night right?"

"What IF it DID happened?"

"Then I'd regret it for the rest of my life. I love you Tiffany."

She scoffed, he, a playboy, in love, with her? seems like something that would happen in a film she would act in, too bad it wasn't.

"Stop playing around with me —"

He stopped what she was playing and pulled her in for a kiss, pressing his lips against hers, his tongue demanding for entrance into her mouth but she quickly pushed him away and wiped her lips.

"What the hell are you doing!?"

"Fine, you don't have to marry me. Just think of the disappointment in your dad's face when the company he worked on for over 10 years, be ruined just because his daughter made the wrong choice. Just think about it Tiff, leave now, walk out of this door, or come inside and discuss about our engagement party. I'll be waiting for an answer." He said sharply, his voice calm and vicious as ever. He looked at Tiffany and saw her weakness right at the spot, he chuckled and walked back inside to the dining room; awaiting an answer from her. An answer she wished she would never have to reply to.

Her head was aching. She made the choice. She took in a deep breath and let it all out, clenching her teeth as she walked back into the dining room. This was it. She hoped she wasn't making the wrong choice. This was all for her dad.

"Wasn't this the actress that caused Yuri trouble?" She muttered as she picked up the magazine and began flipping through the pages.

Hallyu star Tiffany Hwang, starring in the upcoming movie 'The Korean-Egyptian Princess', was caught suspiciously with a unknown girl - and no, it was not her manager Lee Sunny. Around the afternoon's time, she was sitting, eating ice cream with the girl. She was seemed to be slightly injured by the bandages on her legs and elbow. As the reporters started to go after them, the unknown girl grabbed her hands and quickly made their way into the girl's car. They were said to be seen at the Jason Mraz's concert in Seoul, but no other info was given. Some eagle-eyed netizens have figured out who the unknown girl was and it turned out to be a frequent photo-blogger on the net with over hundreds of thousands of followers by the name of Kwon Yuri. Nothing is confirmed yet. We will update this article after Tiffany Hwang herself confirms this herself, if any.

She felt her heart ached as she stared intently at the paparazzi shots of Yuri holding Tiffany's hands. Suddenly a tap on her shoulders caught her off guard.

"Miss, the total is $20.65" The cashier said to her.

"Oh, sorry." Jessica apologized and quickly took out the cash to pay for her items. She looked back at the magazine, and picked it up.

"I'd like to pay for this as well."
