Chapter 13

"Seohyun!" Kimi yelled as she ran over to her friend, out of breath. Kimi was a very lazy overweighted girl and would never run this much for anything so immediately, Seohyun knew that something was wrong.

Seohyun looked oddly at her, "Kimi? what is it?" she asked, puzzled by the girl.

"Someone on the roof—" Kimi paused, gasping for air, "—Is trying to jump off the building!"

"What? what happened?" Seohyun asked, baffled, "Who?"

"I don't know her, but some people said her name is Lizzy. Everyone is crowded up on the roof, let's go!" Kimi said quickly, and Seohyun nodded in confirmation. They both went on their way to the east building of the campus.

---

"I thought she loved me! but she played me!" Lizzy wept, her tears streaming down her cheeks as both of her legs hung dangerously down the edge of the building.

Onew crept up closer to her step by step, and smiled, "Easy there, I'm sure she has her reasons for not calling you." he said carefully, trying not to agitate her.

"It was Jonghyun's fault too!" Lizzy said, and people immediately stared at him.

"Hey, don't look at me, she said she wanted a fun time, so I just introduced someone to her, it's not my fault!" He whispered to the others.

They rolled their eyes at him.

"Yes, yes, it's his fault. But it's really dangerous right now, what happens if you slip and fall? how about we go inside and talk this out?" Onew pacified and once again tried to move closer to her but —

"Don't come any closer!" Lizzy shouted at him.

"Okay, I won't" He said, holding both hands up.

"I want to speak with her!" She demanded.

"Hyomin is bringing her here, just hold on for a bit more." He said with hopeful eyes, just when Yoona finally reached the roof top and quickly ran over to him.

"She said you played her and didn't call her back after you guys had a fun night." He softly whispered to her, "It's up to you now, try to pacify her."

Yoona nodded, "I know what to do." She whispered, "Tell everyone to go out, let me talk with her alone."

"Okay." Onew gave her an 'ok' sign and nodded, walking back to the crowd, he told them to back up and walk out of the door leading to the stairs that had led to the roof.

"What's going on?" Kimi asked, tapping on the shoulders of a student in front of her and Seohyun.

"The girl is trying to jump off the building because of some heart break but some girl is in there now trying to pacify her."

"Thanks." Seohyun said, trying to take a peek, but the doors were closed and the crowds of people would have made it impossible to see anything despite the fact that she was pretty tall.

---

Lizzy scoffed, "Now you came?" she asked her in a agitated tone. Yoona had to make sure that she wouldn't agitate the girl any further, so she just pleasantly smiled.

"I'm sorry baby." Yoona apologized, "How about you get down from there and we can talk?"

"Talk about what?" Lizzy asked.

"About us, of course." Yoona smiled.

"You didn't call me, nor did you pick up my calls after that night."

"It's not that I didn't call you, or didn't pick up the calls...my phone fell out of my pockets when I was getting into my car and I accidentally drove over it. I hadn't went out to get a new phone yet, but I will today!" Yoona made up an explanation, her voice soft. And she knew Lizzy would just fall for it.

"Really?"

"Of course! why would I lie to you?" Yoona asked back, walking closer to the girl until she reached her at the edge.

"Did you have fun with me that night?" Lizzy smiled, climbing off the ledge of the building.

"Best night of my life." Yoona lied.

"I love you." Lizzy said, hugging Yoona tightly, "I thought you didn't like me because of the calls, but now I'm at ease now with your explanation."

Yoona stroked her hair tenderly, "This is silly, don't ever scare me like that again."

Lizzy nodded and pulled back, leaning back in again to give Yoona a kiss on the lips.

"I won't do it again." She declared.

"Promise?" Yoona asked, extending her pinky.

"Promise." Lizzy grinned, shaking the pinky with her own, "Can I come over tonight?"

"Not tonight, I have a study session, next time okay?" Yoona replied.

"Okay" Lizzy nodded obediently and held Yoona's hands.

"Let's go out now, everyone is probably worried about you." Yoona said as she led Lizzy out of the door. Hoards of claps erupted from the students and while Yoona was grinning proudly, she spotted Seohyun and quickly let go of Lizzy's hands.

"What's wrong?"

"I have to go somewhere quick." Yoona said short, covering herself as she tried to sneak out of the crowd, and as soon as she left, the principal rushed up to Lizzy and started to scold her.

"Thank God you're okay! my office, now!" The principal yelled, grabbing Lizzy through the crowd.

"Eh?" Seohyun flinched when someone tapped her on the shoulders.

"Yoona?" She asked, bewildered, "Why are you here?"

"Same reason you're here." She smiled, "Let's get out of this place."

---

"Oh seriously now?" Yuri sneered, looking at the pink helmet with the Hello Kitty designs Tiffany had chosen.

"What? It's pink!"

"Yeah, yeah I know you like pink, but we're karting here! at least choose something more cool!" Yuri whined.

"Oh, you mean like that Mickey Mouse helmet you're holding?" Tiffany said sarcastically, pointing to the black helmet Yuri was holding with a classic Mickey Mouse design all over it. So childish, and she dared to make fun of Tiffany and her Hello Kitty helmet.

"But it's Mickey Mouse!" Yuri countered.

"I rest my case." Tiffany grinned, "You like your Mouse, I like my Kitty. Not to mention, Kitties eats mice."

Yuri laughed. "I'm sure you have watched Tom and Jerry before, it's where the mouse always outwit the kitty and always win at anything."

"You'll see." Tiffany beamed.

"It's on, my friend." Yuri grinned ear to ear as she held her closed knuckle out. Tiffany touched the knuckle with her own and laughed holding the black Sharpie marker she had in her pocket.

"I can't wait to write 'Dunce' all over your forehead!"

"I should be the one saying that." Yuri retaliated with a wink.

---

"Okay, this is how you you start up the engine." The professional said and he began to teach Tiffany the basics of operating the kart. Because Tiffany had her helmet on, the guy didn't recognize that she was THE Tiffany Hwang and began to show the girl how to brake, drift, and what not like he would normally do for other customers, and of course, seeing how Tiffany 'could' be a pretty girl, he ogled at her as he helped get inside the kart, his eyes never drifting away from the small cleavage of her chest.

"I'll handle it from here." Yuri said, her hands placed firmly on his shoulder.

"It's okay, I can do it." He insisted, smiling.

"Let me." Yuri smiled back, her gaze piercing through his eyes, and it didn't help it when Yuri was squeezing his shoulder causing him pain.

"Okay, be my guest." He let out an embarrassed laughter and shook his shoulders to release Yuri's grip on him. "Go ahead." he bowed and clumsily walked to the sidelines where his peers were.

"What was that for?" Tiffany asked her as she watched the guy walking to the sidelines.

"I want to taunt you a little before I beat you in the race." Yuri lied.

"Gee, how nice of you."

"Let me help you with that," Yuri said, helping her clip the seatbelt in, and patted the helmet on Tiffany's head, "You know the basics right?"

Tiffany shook her head to remove Yuri's hand, "Yes! now let's go! what are you waiting for?"

Yuri chuckled, "Drive up to the starting line then, and wait for me." she said.

Yuri placed the helmet onto her head and quickly ran over to her go kart. She got inside the kart and fast secured her seatbelt. She started up the engine and began to drive it up to the starting line where Tiffany was.

"ARE YOU READY?" The flagger announced using the mini intercom, getting his checkered flag ready. Yuri and Tiffany started up their engine and took a look at each other before refocusing their gaze ahead of them.

"READY....SET....—"

Yuri and Tiffany was getting more tense.

"—GO!" The flagger waved the flag, initiating the race. At the start, Tiffany had a head start but Yuri quickly took over and using a dirty method, she drove straight ahead of Tiffany and wouldn't let her get in front. Tiffany stepped on harder on the pedal and bumped Yuri on the behind, causing her to do a mini spin before Tiffany quickly regained the 1st spot. Tiffany turned her head around and snuck out her tongue at Yuri but caused her to bump into the barrel instead, slowing her down as Yuri caught up once again and now it was Yuri's turn to stick out her tongue at Tiffany, who then grumbled as she stepped on the pedal to the metal in hopes of trying to catch up. And she did, they both passed through the first lap with a tie, and now that it was the last lap of the race, they were both getting tense now. First Yuri was in front of Tiffany for about half of the lap, but in the remaining half, Tiffany caught up and they were now only a few feet away from the final finish line when they both passed through at the same time and stomped on the brakes as soon as they passed through the line.

Yuri quickly took off her helmet and got off the kart, "Who won?" she asked the flagger as he watched the replay video of the race on the supervising screen.

"Oh c'mon, are you serious?" Yuri grumbled. The race had ended up as a surprising tie between them both.

"I won?" Tiffany asked as she approached the two.

"No, it ended up as a tie." Yuri grumbled.

"What about 'dunce'!?" Tiffany asked, really wanting to write the words on Yuri's forehead.

"Guess we both have to write it on our foreheads then~" Yuri sang, it didn't matter if the dunce was written on her head or not, what matters is the dunce that will be written on THE Tiffany Hwang's head.

"Marker please." Yuri asked with her hands extended.

Tiffany hesitantly reached into her pocket and took out the Sharpie, "I'm writing on you first!" she demanded.

"Sure go ahead." Yuri said, holding aside her hair so that her forehead would be clear to write on.

Tiffany smirked as her hands held Yuri's head firmly before she began writing.

"Are you done yet?" Yuri asked, feeling as if Tiffany wrote something more than just the simple word 'Dunce'.

"All done~." Tiffany sang, taking a look at Yuri's forehead before laughing.

"Lemme see this," Yuri said, taking out her cell phone and used the screen as a mirror.

The words read 'DUNCE, and in a small parentheses, it says 'Tiffany owns this spot' Yuri immediately took the Sharpie on Tiffany hands upon reading the words. "My turn." She said as she held her head and brushed away Tiffany's bangs before she began writing.

"If you don't want the marker all over the place then stay still."

Yuri tried to hold in her laughter as she wrote on Tiffany's forehead, her perfect skin was now mashed with the ink of the Sharpie.

"Done."

Tiffany glared at her and took out her phone to do the same what Yuri did earlier, the words was a mirror of what Tiffany have wrote earlier, except it was Yuri's name in the parentheses instead.

"Hey, you were the one that wanted to write dunce." Yuri shrugged, she then walked over to Tiffany and wrapped her arms around her shoulders, pulling her close.

"Hey! what are you doing?!" Tiffany yelled, trying to push Yuri away, but Yuri insisted on holding her close.

"We have to take a picture for my blog remember? Now say 'cheese'" Yuri smiled, holding out her phone in front of them and took a picture with her pointing at Tiffany's forehead while Tiffany just pouted.

---

"Is the girl okay now?"

"Yes, she's okay now, I pacified her and she promise me she won't do it again."

"Who is she to you?" Seohyun asked, curious, but in her head, she was thinking that the girl is probably one of the girlfriends she had heard Yoona had. The whole campus knew of Yoona's player ways, and Seohyun wasn't an exception to that - it's just that Yoona didn't seem to be as bad like what others have said about her, specially when she had spent some time with Yoona now to get a glimpse of her personalities.

Yoona hesitated to tell, she sighed, "If you want me to tell you the truth, don't assume that I'm a 'bad' person or anything, okay?..I don't want you to think of me wrongly."

Seohyun nodded, "Don't worry, I won't."

"Thanks," Yoona smiled, "So, the girl's name is Lizzy, and she is a my—ex girlfriend." Yoona said, not wanting to reveal the fact about the one night stand between her and Lizzy.

"Oh, I see." Seohyun nodded, at least Yoona did tell her the truth and not hid it in.

"The reason why I broke up with her is because she's too clingy, she keeps calling me every moment she gets, and she is jealous of every one around me."

"Even me?" Seohyun asked.

"Um, well, she doesn't know about you or about we being friends, yet."

"I guess we should keep it this way or else she'll be more irritated."

"Yeah.."

"So what was the reason that she wanted to, you know, 'jump'?"

"Let's just say she didn't take the break up too nicely.." Yoona muttered.

"And what did you do to pacify her?"

"What else could I do? I had to tell her that I love her to cool her down."

"Well, if that's for her best, then, I guess it's the right thing to do." Seohyun answered, not knowing what else to say.

"But trust me, I don't 'like' her anymore." Yoona defended.

Seohyun chuckled, "I believe you, you're a good person and you were just doing this so that she wouldn't make the mistake of jumping of the building."

"Lunch break is almost over and I have another lecture next, how about you?"

"Same" Seohyun said, taking a last bite of her peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

"Do you want to come over to my house for a study session? we can help quiz each other for the upcoming exams." Yoona suggested, her house was probably the only place where they can have a true alone time without people bothering.

Seohyun nodded, "That would be great."

---

"We arrived." Yuri said, parking the car in the middle of the mini runway with a hangar on the far end. The whole area was pretty empty except for a few lodging buildings.

"What are you doing c'mon!" Yuri called out to Tiffany who was marveling the area unaware that Yuri was far ahead of her. A guy around his 20s walked out and began to greet Yuri.

"Yuri Kwon, Kwon Yuri, nice to see you again." The guy said, extending his hand, "What's on your forehead?"

"Long story, but aish cut to the chase, nice to see you again Yunho." Yuri said, giving him a big bear hug.

"We were friends since elementary school and whenever you want to skydive you come to me, is that the only real reason you ever come to me for?" He complained playfully.

"Well, yes, but hey, I was the one that helped you find your wife."

"And with that I shall give you a lifetime pass to free skydiving jumps." Yunho laughed, when Tiffany - who was slowly walking up to Yuri caught his attention.

"Well well well, who do we have here? is this THE Tiffany Hwang?"

"Why does everyone have to accentuate the 'THE' in Tiffany Hwang?" Yuri asked, looking at the both.

"Because she is 'THE' Tiffany Hwang isn't she?" Yunho countered and extended his hand to Tiffany, "Nice to meet you, I am Yunho, Yuri's friend since elementary school."

"How did you two meet?" He asked Yuri as he shook Tiffany's hand.

"Long story." Yuri and Tiffany said in unison, causing him to chuckle.

"This is quite special, Yuri only took 2 people so far to come here with her to skydive."

"Who are they?" Tiffany asked with curiosity.

"Jessica, and Seohyun." Yunho answered.

"Oh."

"We still have lots of stuff to do today, so how about we cut to the chase and do what I came here for?" Yuri interrupted and Yunho nodded.

"Follow me into the hangar then." He said as he led the way to the helicopter.

---

"So are you guys going to jump individually or together?" Yunho asked through the headset. They were mid air in the helicopter and Yunho was flying it to the designated spot for skydiving.

"Individually!" Yuri said, Tiffany didn't answer as she looked out of the window. Her heart was missing a beat at the thought of her parachute failing.

"Are you thinking about negative thoughts? don't worry, you won't die." Yuri assured her, "Hopefully."

Tiffany glared at her.

"Just kidding, aish. Do you want to jump together then?"

Tiffany looked at her, and back outside the window, before looking at her again.

"Make up your mind!"

"Fine! let's jump together then." Tiffany said, crossing her arms.

"Don't worry, every thing will be safe if you're with me." Yuri winked, and Yunho confirmed.

"Yuri had done this dozens of times before, you can trust her."

"When Seohyun came here with me, she didn't want to go because she had acrophobia, but guess what? she loved it."

"Okay I get it." Tiffany frowned.

"This is it, the helicopter is now on auto-pilot mode, let's put the jump suits on you two." Yunho said as he stepped out of the cockpit and took the jump suits out of the cabinet, attaching the parachute case onto one of the suits.

"I'll be releasing the parachute, so I'll be taking this one." Yuri took hold of the suit and began to put it on - over her clothes, before going over to Tiffany and help her with hers. Yunho began to help them attached the necessary cords and checked it over a few times to make sure everything will be okay. Tiffany was now 'attached' to Yuri in front of her and Yunho led them to the edge of the door.

"Once I open this door, you jump, okay?" He told Tiffany and Tiffany nodded.

"Don't be nervous, it's a one in a life time thing to do for most people." Yuri told her.

"Well, if anything goes wrong, then this IS the last thing I would be doing in my life, before going up to heaven"

"Stop thinking so negative." Yuri nudged her.

"You guys ready?"

"Yes!" Yuri and Tiffany remarked at the same time.

Yunho opened the door and Tiffany froze upon seeing the clouds..below her, not on top of her like where people usually see clouds.

"Jump!" Yunho and Yuri yelled, and Tiffany closed her eyes, jumping off the helicopter. They were now free falling hundreds and hundreds of feet up from the sky.

"Open your eyes, you need experience this!"

Tiffany slowly opened her eyes and saw what was below her, everything on the ground looks like those patches people knit into blankets, she twitched and held her head sideways, closing her eyes again. Suddenly Yuri grasp onto her hand and it gave her strength right away.

"Don't be afraid." Yuri reassured her, her hand reached for the parachute string and pulled it. The parachute bursted open, slowing down the speed of the fall and that was when Tiffany was able to open her eyes again.

Yuri held her tight from behind and without thinking, Tiffany held onto the hands wrapped around her. She could feel the warmth Yuri was giving despite the cold air that was rushing towards them. Her stomach was churning with that pleasant feeling, but she herself doesn't know what those pleasant feelings were.

They both landed at the designated spot safely, and Tiffany sighed in relief.

---

"You should have opened your eyes throughout the fall! it was an awesome experience."

"I did open my eyes!" Tiffany retorted.

"Yeah, after I pulled the parachute out. You should have opened them when we were still free falling." Yuri grumbled. She wanted Tiffany to experience something out of the ordinary but instead, she had closed her eyes and deleted that experience.

"Well, my bad." Tiffany pouted, "So where are we going next?"

"Go play billiards, the loser pays for dinner, but since I'm so hungry right now, let's just skip that and go eat instead, wait, call Yoona and ask if she's home or not, maybe we should go do some grocery shopping and make dinner instead, it'll be cheaper."

"I have money you know." Tiffany remarked.

"Well, nothing beats home made food, so call Yoona."

"Call Yoona?"

"Yeah, call her."

Tiffany nodded and took out her cell phone before dialing her house number.

".."

"..."

"Hello? Unnie?"

"Yes, it's me. You're at home right?"

"Seohyun is over at our house too."

"She said Seohyun is at the house too." Tiffany whispered to Yuri.

"Tell them not to eat anything, I'm going to go and buy food to make dinner."

"Don't eat anything, Yuri is gonna come over to make dinner."

"Okay got it. Bye." Yoona said before hanging up.

"Aish, this girl had never had a long conversation with me on the phone before, she always wants to hang up."

Yuri laughed, "Because no one wants to talk to you."

"Whatever."

Yuri laughed as she pulled a turn into the shopping plaza and parked by the designated spot.

"Stay in the car, people will know who you are."

"Not with these on!" Tiffany said, putting on her sun glasses, a cap, and wrapped a scarf around her neck.

"Do you always carry those with you in your bag?"

"It's for emergencies."

"You look like a weirdo" Yuri snickered.

"No I don't, people dress this way too ya know?"

"Yeah, weirdos dress that way, and not to mention, it's not even that cold and here you are wrapped around in scarves, don't that make you seem like a weirdo?"

"Shut up Yuri!" Tiffany yelled at her and walked inside the grocery store by herself.

Yuri chuckled at Tiffany's immature reaction.

"Get the shopping cart!" Yuri shouted, Tiffany didn't reply back but she did what she was told. She grabbed the shopping cart and went inside the store again, leaving Yuri behind.

Yuri smiled gleefully and ran up to the girl, wrapping her arm around the girl's shoulder and helped push the cart.

"Don't we just look like a couple? Yuri teased her. Tiffany was blushing at Yuri's statement but quickly pushed her away, "Yah! what are you doing?"

Yuri quickly ran over to the seafood section next to them, "I'm picking out crabs, that's what I'm doing."

Tiffany grumbled and turned the cart towards the snacks section, "You pick out your crabs or whatever, I'm finding my own food."

As Tiffany go through the aisle, she practically picked up every different item on the shelf she thought was good and headed back to Yuri who was now roaming the meat section.

"What is all of this?"

"My snack foods?" Tiffany answered her.

"Put it all back."

"No! I'm paying for it!"

"All of these snacks are full of fat and high cholesterol, you're a movie star, you shouldn't eat those things." Yuri whispered.

"But..But.."

"Put it back."

"Fine!" Tiffany muttered, obediently obeying Yuri like a little child and quickly took the cart back to the snacks section, placing back the snacks to the shelves. After she did so, she returned back to Yuri and placed all the items they are buying inside the cart.

"What else should I buy.." Yuri said to herself, looking around the store and back at the cart.

"I guess that's all, let's go pay up."

---

"This is your house?" Yuri asked in astonishment as they reached to the gate of Tiffany's house - not even a house, more like mansion.

"Well, I'm a movie star, what did you expect?"

"I expected something more like a castle, since you seem to be a bratty princess all the time."

---

"Yoona I'm home." Tiffany shouted as she walked inside the house.

"We're still studying!" Yoona shouted back.

"Well, since they're still studying, can I go up to your room?"

"What for?"

"I need to use the computer."

Tiffany sighed, "Follow me." she said, leading Yuri up to her room. Yuri laughed upon seeing the interior of the room, the walls were painted pink with unicorns while bed sheets had designs of Hello Kitty and pretty much the whole room was filled with pink.

"Nice room you have." Yuri remarked.

"Thanks, something nice from you for once."

"Anyways, I can use your computer right?" Yuri said, pointing to the iMac desktop sitting in the corner.

Tiffany nodded. Yuri smiled and took seated, on the chair, "What's the password?"

"'I love pink' with no spaces."

"Seriously?"

Tiffany nodded.

"You love pink way too much my friend." Yuri laughed. As soon as the desktop unlocked itself, an email appeared.

"You got mail." Yuri said, looking at Tiffany.

"Who is it from?"

Yuri looked closely at the email and scoffed, "That basturd Siwon, he wants you to send invitations to the engagement party to your friends."

Tiffany sighed and fell back onto her bed, "I'll do that later."

"Alright then." Yuri said, closing the email window. She took out a mini USB cable adapter from her pocket and hooked her phone up to the desktop before importing the photo she had taken with Tiffany earlier today and began to blog about the photo like what she promised she would do.

"Done."

"Now let me send out the emails."

"I'll go to prepare dinner then."

---

"You got mail." The computerized voice announced.

"Who's it from?" Jessica asked herself as she opened up the email.

"Kwon Yuri had posted up a new blog entry."

"Oh, that." She said nonchalantly, clicking on the link that led her to the new blog entry. Upon loading the page, she was greeted with a seemingly playful picture of Yuri and Tiffany.

"Me and THE Tiffany Hwang. I took her karting and sky diving today. She was so afraid during the skydive that she closed her eyes throughout the whole free falling, bummer because it was quite an experience lol. Anyway, so before we were go karting, we made a bet to see who would lose, the loser would have 'dunce' written over their foreheads...guess what? we both had a tie so we both have dunces on our foreheads, the reaction on her face was hilarious. Today was a fun day, I'm about to make dinner for all of us now. And if you guys were wondering - yes, we have a better relationship now then the first time I have met her."

Jessica felt a rush of jealousy fill her, "What's their real relationship with each other anyway? first I saw them on the gossips magazine and now this?"

"Jessica, baby." Jay said, interrupting her thoughts as he entered the room. Jessica quickly closed the tab.

"Yes?"

"We're going back to Korea temporarily."

"What? what for?" Jessica asked, confused.

"You know the actress Tiffany Hwang right?"

Jessica bit her lip, "Right."

"Well, she's having a engagement party in less than 2 weeks, and she invited me to come."

"Invited you to come? why? you know her?"

"Yeah, I was a movie extra in one of her films before"

"Oh really?" Jessica asked, surprised.

"Not to mention - I did save her from being date raped by a basturd before."
