(A/N: This chapter is honestly just a filler.)

Your POV

I heard movement all around me. I did not know where I was, only that I was in a little bit of pain. At first I did not open my eyes in case I was with an enemy. Then I heard a familiar voice. "Ori, lad! Go fetch Thorin! She's waking!" I heard Oin yell. I opened my eyes to see his kind face hovering over me. "Gave us quite a scare," he said. "LASS!" Bofur cried and came into my line of sight. "Bloody hell, Bofur. There's no need to shout," I said holding my head. I slowly moved myself so I was sitting. "Sorry, lass. You've been asleep so long, we were beginning to lose hope."

"What happened?" I asked looking around. I was obviously underground somewhere. "You don't remember?" I closed my eyes again. "I remember healing Fili and killing an orc with my m-magic. Everything after that is fuzzy." Just then, the mentioned prince and his brother came into the room and ran over to me. "Oh, Mahal! You're alive," Fili said and grabbed my hand and giving it a squeeze. "So are you," I chuckled then asked softly, "Where's Thorin?" As if summoned, Thorin was by my side pulling me into a tight hug. "Y/N!" I winced and inhaled sharply. "Sorry!"

I made a mental note that Thorin was cute when he got flustered. "I'm fine, Thorin really. You lot didn't answer my question. What happened after I healed Fili?" The five dwarves told me of how I'd pushed Thorin out of Azog's path and took the blow myself in my side. How I'd died and Thranduil brought me back and how I'd been asleep for several weeks. Thorin held my hand the whole time. "What about the rest of the company? Did we lose anyone?" Kili shook his head and said, "Cousin Dain lost a lot of good warriors. So did the men and elves." "We are alive thanks to you," Thorin said.

*Time Skip*

It took a few more days after I woke for me to completely recover with no pain. I was moved into my own chambers and able to help with the rebuilding. My magic helped a lot in that department. My days were filled with work and the evenings with plans for a certain king's coronation. Nighttime however, the nightmares came. I'd used my magic to kill and while it had been in defense of a loved one, I still felt guilty. I'd promised my father that I'd never use my magic to kill.

"I'm sorry, Papa! I had to do something while you were off in Oz. You won't let me learn to fight or do anything a normal pirate does," I protested as the Jolly Roger sailed away from Oz. My father sighed. "Alright, love," he said slowly, "Just promise me you won't let your magic turn you dark. NEVER use it to kill. Remember what I told you about Milah? About what the Crocodile did to her? I don't want you to become that. Promise me." I nodded. "I promise, Papa."

I'd broken my promise. One night, the nightmare was so bad, I'd scared Thorin awake with my screams. He charged into my room prepared to fight. "Y/N, what is it?" I was lucky it was only Thorin and no one else. "I'm sorry, love. It was just a nightmare." He sat on the bed. "Tell me." I told him about how I'd killed the orc with magic. "Why should that give you nightmares?" I explained to him what happened when magic is used to kill. "When someone uses magic to kill, it begins to darken their heart. For most, the darkness is so enticing that they cannot help but to use dark magic again and again. I promised that I'd never let that happen to me." He held me and comforted me until I fell asleep again.

Thorin's POV

After Y/N fell asleep, I quietly left the room. I could not understand the guilt she felt for killing the orc, but it was obvious that it affected her. Hopefully the light-hearted nights to come would help her. The coronation feast was fast approaching. Three nights of feasting, dancing and celebrating. I would be crowned King Under the Mountain and Fili and Kili would become crowned princes. Bilbo stayed on in Erebor for that the feasts before returning to the Shire. Thranduil had even consented to join the celebrations. The King of Dale would also be present.

My sister Dis would be joining us in Erebor in the next few days as well. My nephews were eager to see their mother again after so long. I would be able to introduce her to Y/N, which I will admit made me slightly nervous. Dis could be a very intimidating dwarrowdam when she wanted to be. I had no doubt that Y/N could hold her own against my sister if need be, but I really wanted them to get on.
