I hum in confusion as I looked up from a small clipboard in my hands as I worked through the hospital the next day. "Why's all the Jonin running around?" I ask curiously to a nurse.

"There's word that the Honorable Grandson locked himself in the Hokage's office," The nurses responded softly.

"Oh, man- I have to go!" I exclaim as I toss the clipboard on the counter. "I'll be back later!" I ran out of the hospital and made it to the Hokage mansion post haste. "Shizune!" I exclaim as I get up to the second level. 

"Come on," Kotetsu whines as he tugs at the door slightly. "We don't want to have to break it down."

"Go ahead and try it!" Konohamaru's voice cries from inside. "See what happens! I'm the grandson of the Third Hokage! If you go against me, you're going against my-- my grandpa! You'll be going against the Hokage!"

"Lady Tsunade has important work to do, and she can't do it until she gets in there." Shizune mentions softly.

Kotetsu and Izumo prepare to break the door down. "Wait!" I exclaim and grasp their arms. "Look up, stupid-" I mention angrily. "He's planted smoke bombs. And since I know Konohamaru, it's probably something mischievous." I mention.

"You got that right! Pepper Smoke Bombs!" Konohamaru bellows as I make Kotetsu boost me up. I pry open the compartment and gently take the bombs out without detonating them. 

"Aren't you guys supposed to be Chunin?" I ask curiously. The two of them flinch and lower their gazes as flushes cover their faces.

"I got this whole place booby trapped, Ren! You'll get a lot worse than pepper smoke bombs if you try comin' in!" Konohamaru exclaims.

"Konohamaru, just come out and we can talk about this- There's no reason to-" I stop short.

"Just shut up and get out of here!" He exclaims.

"Isn't it a little early for all this racket?" I hear Tsunade ask. "It's giving me a screaming headache."

"Lady Tsunade," Shizune hummed as Tonton immediately leapt from her arms to go up to Tsunade. The pig leapt up into her arms with distressed oinks.

Tsunade hummed in confusion. "You three can't handle one little kid?" Tsunade asked.

"Whoa, hold on-" I mention. "These two nearly fell for an academy prank." I explain.

"Wait a second-" Kotetsu stops me as he pinched my cheek roughly.

"Just get him out of there!" Tsunade snaps.

"But ma'am, he's  the grandson of the Third Hokage." Izumo explained sheepishly.

"What do I care? I'm the granddaughter of the First Hokage! I'm the one who need to worry about now!" Tsunade snaps at the two. "From what I can see, it might do the brat some good to be roughed up a little! Now get him out of there!"

"Right!" Izumo and Kotetsu prepare to break in again.

"Wait- Don't!" I hear Naruto bellow.

"Naruto?" I question curiously. Udon and Moegi are behind him. All of them are out of breath.

"Hold on," Naruto gasps. "Just wait a second. I don't know exactly what's going on here, but don't be too rough on Konohamaru, huh? Please, Grandma Tsunade!"

"He's a friend of yours, is he?" Tsunade asks.

Naruto nods quickly. Tsunade looks back at the door. "Don't worry, I can get him out! Just let me talk to him! He'll listen to me!" Naruto exclaims

"I want him out of there by the end of the day!" Tsunade snaps.

"End of the day?" Shizune asks. "Lady Tsunade! Wait!" Shizune runs after her.

"I'm going to the hospital," I mention tiredly. "It's not even noon, and I'm already low on chakra. Jeez, that woman is a slave driver." I slump and start walking away.

"Hey, Ren~" Sakura coos as I leave a hospital room.

"Sakura, what are you doing here?" I as curiously as I set my clipboard down on the counter.

"I'm here to see Lee. He should be in rehabilitation, right?" Sakura asks.

I lean over the counter and pull out the check in book. I hum softly and flip through the pages. "Actually, he hasn't checked in yet." I mention. "That's weird. It's not like him to be late."

"Do you think he's all right?" Sakura asks hurriedly.

"Hey, hey- Don't make me freak out like this!" I exclaim.

I'm panting lightly as I run around the village. 'Jeez, where could he be at a time like this?' Again, that green spandex puts him out like a sore thumb. "Lee!" I exclaim as I land besides him.

"Oh," Lee hums softly. "Hi, Ren."

I lean down and pant roughly as I hold out flowers. "Sakura- Sakura came by to deliver these for you." I sigh softly.

"For-- For me?" He asks curiously.

"Yeah, Since technically you are my patient now- So I said I'd deliver them when I found you." I explain slowly.

"I will have to thank her when I see her again!" Lee exclaims happily. He tries to grab them, but ends up nearly falling over when his crutch falls.

"Lee!" I exclaim as I catch him in my arms. I quickly help him stand.

"Sorry about that, Ren." He apologizes swiftly.

"It's okay, Lee. Every step counts, remember?" I giggle. "Hold onto the rails, I got your crutch." I hum as I lean down. "Aside from you, I've been looking over Kakashi and Sasuke. The both of them are recovering nicely, and it'll be a few days, but they'll be back to their old selves in no time." I explain.

"I am glad to hear it." Lee explains. "That is good news for everyone."

"I know... she's already looked at you Lee, but... I seriously think just giving up is not the only option." I mention casually. "In the meantime, don't hesitate to ask for my help, okay?" I hum as I lean forward and hug him tightly.

"I appreciate that, Ren." Lee hums briefly, and buries his face in my neck.

"I have to get to the Hokage mansion and see how everything's going, I'll see you later, okay?" I giggle.

"I will see you later, then." Lee affirms softly and bows. I grin and leave him at the bridge.

Naruto was still trying to get him out. And from the looks of it, he wasn't getting anywhere. "At least telling me why you're doing this!" Naruto exclaims angrily. "Maybe if I had a clue, I could help!"

"Please, Konohamaru." Moegi pleads softly.

"All right then, no more Mr. Nice Guy!" Naruto exclaims. "I tried being sympathetic, but I can see it's not working! Secret Technique-" Naruto quickly weaves familiar handsigns, and I quickly cover Moegi and Udon's eyes. "Sexy Jutsu!" He immediately transforms into a naked girl version of Naruto. "Konohamaru~ Won't you please come out? Don't keep my waiting~"

I turn the kids around and slam my fist against the back of his head. "YOU IDIOT! WHY IS A SEXY WOMAN NOT IN HIS FRIGGIN' SIGHT GONNA WORK?!" I exclaim angrily.

He transformed back to normal as he held his head in pain. "DAMMIT REN! WHY DO YOU KEEP HITTING ME! NOW I'M ANGRY!" He growls as he stands back up. "Time for Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Nine clones appeared behind him. "Okay, Konohamaru! We're comin' in!" The all exclaim. "One, two, three!" On three, they slammed into the door, and the top compartment opened up again, dropping more pepper smoke bombs again. "Shoulda seen that comin', I guess." Naruto moaned desperately.

"You stupid idiot." I mentioned angrily.

"I feel like it," Naruto moaned.

"Konohamaru?" I hum softly as I kneel down next to the door. "I know I can't possibly understand what you're going through, but I promise you, we haven't forgotten about the Third Hokage." I explain softly. "When I came to the village, your grandfather had shown me so much kindness, and love. He means something to me, too- And this new Hokage business- It can be stressful."

"So that's it," Naruto hummed in confusion.

"I'm his Grandson..." Konohamaru muttered softly. "It's my duty to defend his office. It's the office of the Third Hokage, no one is allowed to use it!"

"I know, Konohamaru, I know-" I plead softly. "But the village is in danger every second we don't have the head of the village doing her job,"

"So what?!" Konohamaru bellowed. "The stupid village can burn down for all I care!"

"That does it! You just crossed the line!" Naruto and I bellowed in unison.

"End of the line, ya brat! I'm not playing nice with you! I'm gonna break down this door!" I shout angrily.

I lift my leg up and force chakra into my leg to slam it against the door, but a hand wraps around my face and pulls me back. My anger dies down as I stare at Tsunade's back.

"Tsunade?" I hum curiously.

"Wait- Be careful!" Naruto exclaims. She doesn't even flinch as she deflects the pans dropping down, and easily pushes the door open, toppling the furniture. She steps in easily and starts chopping at each trip wire, rendering them useless. A heap of stuff falls in front of her, and she punches it lightly. Everything is getting destroyed. She deactivates each paper bomb she steps on.

"Whoa-" Naruto and I hum. Each trap that's activated, she easily dodges or deflects it. She reaches Konohamaru, and for a moment, I think she's going to hit him, but she just grabs a book from behind him.

"Uh, the next time you think of pissing anyone off- Don't let it be Tsunade." I mention to Konohamaru before walking after her.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I question Kakashi as I set down his dinner.

"Yes, Ren. I'm okay to return to duty." Kakashi chuckles. "So... Medical Ninjutsu, huh?"

"W-Well, I thought I could learn something new to help out. With this latest attack, we're low on nurses and doctors at the hospital." I giggle bashfully.

"You're extremely talented, Ren." Kakashi smiles affectionately. "So... Are you going to live with Tsunade now that she lives in the village?"

I froze from washing my dishes and turned my gaze over my shoulder. "No way," I smirk. A look of surprise crosses his face. "Look, she may be my family, but you're the one who's raising me. You're the one who's been there for me through thick and thin. So, no- I'm not going to move in with her." I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him tightly. "Sorry, but you have to deal with me for a little while longer."

Kakashi's face morphs into so many emotions, I had a hard time making any of them out. Content, embarrassment, agitation. "Jeez- Now you're making me emotional. Quit it, it's weird." Kakashi whines.

I laugh happily and slap his back. He winces and leans forward. "Ready for duty, huh? Get back to bed, ya old man." I chuckle.

"Okay, one more day of rest- But then I'm working, got it?" Kakashi quips as he travels up the stairs.

"And wear your mask! The others could drop by and see it if you're not careful!"
