CHAPTER FOUR

In the morning, clouds relocation in the warm sky, kissed into brilliant white by the sun. They moved south toward the ocean, together yet independent. Gaps widen and close, one slides right under another and always they are changing shape.

Today was the day of job interview and Avneet was nervous as hell. But she wanted this job and for that she knew it has to be perfect as First Impression Is The Last Impression.

She dressed up professionally with a great top coat and the knee length skirt paired with a bead of necklace and bracelets and some makeup.

She had breakfast in the hotel canteen with a glass of milk and a bread with butter. Then she went straight for the interview as she didn't want to be late. She had to sit in the chair and was given a token number which seemed to be at the last. The thing that shocked her was that there were about 100 girls in the line for the interview.

"Avneet, you should try your best. It is way more difficult than you thought to get this job."

The interview was being held in Sidd's office and Ruhi was joining him.

"I just hope we get a perfect baby sitter for her." He thought last time before attending the interview.

Ruhi : Papa. I am ready.

Siddharth : Wow. Meri pari toh bohot pyaari laag rahi ho.

Ruhi : Thank you papa. Aur aap be kuch kaam nahi laag rahey ho.

All of Ruhi's saying was sweet but at the same time, reminding him of Reem. She was like in Reem in every way. From sayings to fashions, she was the carbon copy of Reem.

Ruhi : Sorry papa. I reminded you of my mother again. Sorry.

Siddharth : It's OK beta. Pata hai aap toh uski carbon copy ho. Aapki maa bhi aisi hi thi.

Ruhi : Haan papa. Shall we go now? Or else we will be late.

Siddharth : Of course. Let's go.

*Phone rings*

Siddharth : Hello Faisal.

Faisal : Bro, today I won't be able to come kyunki tumhari bhabi jee ko pick up karna hai.

Siddharth : Arrey wha. Jannat bhabi wapas aarahi hai.

Faisal : Kya wha? Tumhe pata hai larkiyan kaisi hoti hai. Aur waise bhi, jab bhi musibat aati hai tum uske saath dete ho. Ek baat batao mujhe, tum mere best friend ho ya Jannat kay?

Siddharth (Thinks For a while) : Tum harey.

Faisal : Toh phir uski side kyun?

Siddharth : Yaar tumhe pata hai larkiyan kaise hoti hai.

Faisal : Haan. Yeh bhi sahi hai. By the way, all the best.

Siddharth : Thanks bro.

They went to the interview and one by one, people came for the interview but no one seemed to care enough for Ruhi. They all wanted to get closer to Siddharth by which Siddharth was mad and bothered and Ruhi was really upset.

"This is the last one. Aagar yeh bhi aise hi nikalti hai toh kisi ki khair nahi." Siddharth thought himself.

Just then his phone rang again.

Avneet's POV:

I hear the soft clicks of my heels hitting the marble floor as I walk through the door the secretary told me. The walls were covered with gray and ivory wallpapers and motivational photography with silver frames. As I peeked in, I saw a cute girl sitting which I assume might be Ruhi.

But then I heard a guy talking in his phone rudely looking at the window to make sure Ruhi doesn't really here him which I assume might be Siddharth Nigam aka the father of Ruhi.

Siddharth On Phone : I fu**ing told her to take care of this payment but she didn't fu**ing listen to me. Get her out of this job today! And this is my order!!

"Avneet, tu toh gayi." She thought herself.
