CHAPTER TWELVE

Sidd's POV:

A sweet scent emanated from her body as she Nuzzled her face in my chest. She held me tightly, fearing the nightmare she was having. This nightmare was definitely a dark past of her. She left me utterly worried about her. I was worried about her. Seeing her unique eyes grew in terror left my blood boiled a lot. I will not leave that guy, whoever it was. I reacted and followed instinct.

My hand soon found hers, our fingers interlocking. And I felt something in me which I haven't fell for three years.

Avneet : H----h-------he

Sidd : Shh..... I am here.

My heart was beating faster and faster. I was hyptonized in her beauty again. I was really close to her that I observed her attractive eyes as they passed out with the reflection of the lights. Her hair was gracefully water fall down the back, some strands of her silky hair falling down the shoulder. She's overwhelmingly beautiful.

Sidd (thinking) : Why in the world am I feeling like this?

Avneet : Tha---Thank y---you so much, Siddharth.

Sidd : It's no problem. Good Night.

Sidd : Good Night.

In The Morning:

After sending Ruhi to school, Avneet was lost in her own thoughts.

Avneet's POV:

I wasn't able to sleep last night. My mind was everywhere on Siddharth. Yesterday, I witnessed a different shade of him. A soft side of him, which he really is but tries to hide from the world.

This was so unlike me to feel this way to Siddharth. His touch tattooed itself through my skin. I could feel his warmth on my body ; his dreamy brown eyes protecting me. He's been on my mind like a crazy but I have no idea why. He held me so tightly that I can't describe. The way he whispered on my ear "Shh.... I got you." made me safe.

In The Evening

(Avneet has picked Ruhi from school and they are in the car)

Avneet (while driving):Ruhi, aaj aap bohot khush lag rahi hain. Kya baat hai?

Ruhi : Haan, di. Woh kal overnight trip hai isliye bohot excited hoon.

Avneet : Arrey wah.... Destination kahan hai?

Ruhi : Goa, 4 days ke liye.

Avneet : Wow..... Goa!! Bohot maza aayega. Waise, aap ke papa maan gaye is overnight trip ke liye?

Ruhi : Pehle nahi maaney thay lekin phir Faisal uncle, Jannat di ney convince kiya toh maan gaye. Waise, aapko pata hai mere papa bohot overprotective hain........

Avneet : Ruhi, isey overprotective nahi balkey ek pita ka pyaar kehtey hai...... Ek pita ki chinta hai uski beti ke liye...... Aur aapko pata hai , aap bohot lucky ho. Kyun ki aapkey papa aap set bohot pyaar kartein hain....... Duniya mein aise log bhi hotey hain jiske paas ek pita ka pyaar naseeb nahi hota.......

Ruhi : Lekin Avneet di, main lucky kaise hosakti hoon jaabkey mere paas maa nahi hain?

Avneet : Ruhi, mujhe nahi pata ke aapki maa kahan hai aur kaise hain, haan lekin woh aaj yahan hoti toh aapke upar fakhar karti..... Aap itne cute, smart aur kind hoon...... Aur aapke paas mein hoon, Jannat di hain, aapke papa hain aur Faisal uncle hain na.. Jo aap se behad pyaar karte hain ..... Hain na?

Ruhi : Haan, di.

Avneet : Good. So want to have ice cream?

Ruhi : Yessss!!!!

Next Day:

Ruhi has gone to overnight trip, Avneet is in her room, thinking where shall she go for these four days? Shall she go back to her hotel? Because she felt a bit insecure in the mansion as Ruhi wasn't even there. Just then, Avneet's phone rang

Jaan : Hi Avu, kya karrahi ho?

Avu : Hi Jaan main kuch soch rahi hoon.

Jaan : Arrey kya hua? Tension mai kyun lag rahi ho?

Avu explains the situation to Jaan.

Jaan : Arrey why taking tension yaar? You can come and stay with me in my apartment.

Avu : But

Jaan : No, BUTS! Anyways, I will come pick you up tonight. Wait, you know what? My friend is hosting a party. Let's go there. I will come in the evening and we both can be ready together.

Avu : Uhh.... Ok. Party it is then.

The afternoon passed, with Avneet, pop corn, and Netflix. She hasn't seen Sidd since the day of the incident.... And she was quite happy to be exact because if he demanded the answers of the nightmare, she won't be able to tell him yet.

At Night

Avu's clothes:

Jaan's clothes

And as they went down, they saw Sidd sitting on his sofa.

Avu's and Sidd's eye locked and for a moment, Avu blushed but looked away.

Sidd : Where are you girls going?

Jaan : To the party of a friend of mine.

Sidd : But look at the time, it's really late, plus it isn't safe for girls to go out like that.

Jaan : Why Sidd, what's wrong? And we r taking the driver to go. Not walking.

Sidd : But at least, listen...

Jaan : Bye Sidd...

She pulled Avu with her and they both left for the party.

Sidd's POV:

As I was sitting, I noticed girls coming down. Our eyes fixed on each other for a few seconds, but she pulled it away. Man, Avu was looking smoking hot in that dress of her. Her hair perfectly put down with a curve. Her eyes, a sparkling green as she was wearing lenses. This is my first time to see her in that attire - you know all these makeups and short dress. She nailed it, looking incredibly beautiful.
