CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

Avu's POV:

We both reached Faisal's house after battling with the cold wind.

Everything was fine there apart from the fact that Jaan was behaving a bit weirdly. I wanted to ask what was wrong with her, but I decided to let stay of it and ask when we were alone.

Anyways, we enjoyed dinner together then, watched a movie.

Me and Sidd sat at end of the edge of the couch, our bodies touching as there wasn't much space between us.

Author's POV:

After half an hour, Avu and Sidd both were so much in the movie that they didn't even realize it that Avu's head was now resting on Sidd's chest and one of his hands was stroking her hair while the other one was playing with her fingers.

Avu's eyes were sleepy now but she tried her best to open them.

After a while, Sidd's head was slightly upon Avu and before she even knew, she too fell asleep.

The next Morning

Jaan took a picture of Sidd and Avu saying

Jaan : These two complete each other.

Faisal : I totally agree.

Faisal said as he came.

Jaan faked a smile.

Jaan : Let's leave them sleeping. I will go and send Ruhi to school.

Jaan was going when Faisal pulled her by wrist, pulling her closer to him.

Faisal : Why do you even need to go? I will send Ruhi to her school. You take a rest. You have been exhausted for days.

Jaan : Fais, you know there's one thing I am always worried about.

Faisal : What are you worried of?

Jaan : That flirting is your behavior. And, one day, I might loose you. Faisal, I can't afford to loose you. I just can't.
Faisal : Jaanu. You don't have to worry anything about that. You won't loose me. You won't. You know how much I love you.

Jaan : Faisal, I love you too.

Faisal : Now, a smile please.

Faisal : Your smile just made my day.

Jaan slightly blushed upon hearing it.

Jaan : Faisal, this is no time for romance. Go and send Ruhi to school.

Faisal : Don't worry, Jaanu. I will send Ruhi to school in minutes and come to you.

Jaan : I will be waiting.

Faisal(flirting) : Well, you should. Because I have got a big surprise for you.

Jaan : Surprise? Faisal, tell me what is it?

Faisal : Not now. Keep waiting for a while.

Jaan : Please, Faisal.

Faisal : No.

Jaan was about to make puppy eyes when Faisal stopped her.

Faisal : No puppy eyes, please. I am going to send Ruhi to school, or if she's late, then it will be your fault.

Jaan : Mine?

Faisal : Yes, you're the one stopping me.

Jaan : But you were the one to say that there's a surprise.

Faisal : Yes, but wait at least. You know "sabar ka phaal mitha hota hai."

Jaan let out a sigh.

Back To Siddneet

Avu's POV:

I woke up with butterflies in my stomach. Sidd's arm was wrapped around my waist, enclosing the fingers and maneuvering them around. I could feel his breath puffed into my neck, his head resting on my shoulder.

I was lost in his thoughts when I heard a morning voice in my ears.

Sidd : Morning, Ms. Avneet.

Sidd said, smiling.

Avu : Morning, Nigam.

I replied back, smiling.

That then, I realized about Ruhi.

Avu : Shit!!

I said, feeling guilty of myself.

Sidd : Are you okay?

Avu : Uhm, I might have forgotten about sending Ruhi to her school.

I said in a low voice.

From back : Don't worry about that.

A voice from back said.

It was Jaan.

Jaan : Faisal had gone to send her school.

She continued.

Avu : Phew. I let out a sigh.

I glanced at Sidd, who was looking angry.

Avu : Shit, Avu. He would be thinking how irresponsible I am.

Avu : Si---

He cut me in the middle.
