"Kid, talk to her. See what it is that bothers her."

I got silence in return as Adrien did not answer me.

         I sighed.

"Adrien, I am serious about the note your father left..."

       "Note, what note?"

          I heard him ask.

"He left one on the table," I explained.

            Adrien nodded his head.

             I tugged on Marinette's hair.

I grinned when I got her attention.

"Ouch, Plagg, what was that for?"

"Marinette, I think you should be honest with Adrien."

I watched as Marinette's face fell. It was like she disagreed with me.

"I know it is not easy, but he needs to know what his father told you."

I paid attention as Marinette paced back and forth. I could tell she was deep in thought about the whole thing. I felt sorry for her.

"Marinette, he deserves to know everything."

I  flew back to Adrien at once.

I  noticed he laid there in agony. I felt bad that I could not find a way to help him.  It was like there was a way to repair the damage done to his eyes.

I looked at Marinette in the hopes Tikki might convince her to speak up soon.

I  heard someone cry. I turned around to see who it was and gasped.  It was Marinette. I did not mean to make her cry. What kind of kwami am I?   Am I that horrible?

I saw Tikki shake her head at me. I knew then, sugarcube was not any more thrilled about the situation than I was at the moment.

I flew over to Marinette to comfort her when she spun around.

"Plagg, do not rush me. I swear I will tell him when I ready, okay."

I  nodded my head in response to her announcement.

I watched her re-scan the note and saw her frown.  I  located it inside her pocket a few minutes later.  Hmm, so that is where she decided to store it.

I hoped Mr. Agreste bought that whale of tale Marinette told him earlier.

A snore came from the direction of the bed, no surprise there Adrien had fallen asleep again.  The poor boy was stressed and tired after all that happened.

I  scanned the area for cheese. I found a few crumbs. I ate them without a word.

The door slammed shut as Marinette left the room.  I thought she promised not to leave.

Thirty minutes later, the door creaked as she re-entered the room with hot chocolate. I should have known she left to get something to drink.

        bye, bye little owlets!

         -Summer out!
