Another round of Murder game is taking place.....

DAY 04
ARENA 01: APARTMENT
ROUND 05

As usual, Aqours and Muse grouped up and opened the round by passing out cards randomly to all the 18 players. There are 16 Innocent Cards, 1 Detective Card, and 1 Murderer Card. No change to the rules have been made yet.

After everyone got their cards and showed it to A-Rise via the monitor above, A-Rise suddenly reacted unusually.

Tsubasa: Oh!!? The murderer for this round is very interesting!!

Everybody lowered their hands and began to spread out. This time, more people have decided to stay as a group to gain an advantage over the single Murderer.

At the eastern sector, Rin is busy looking for ribbons. Her plan is to get a gun and shoot anyone whom she is suspicious of.

Rin: Gotta look for ribbons, nyah!

Murderer: (comes inside and closes the door)

Rin: Oh!? You need something, nyah?

Murderer: (throws a knife at Rin and kills her.)

To the north, Maki is planning to hide again. She went inside a room with two sofas and a large TV placed on a large cabinet. She hid behind the large TV.

Maki: Geez....the best tactic is to stay alive. I hope no one finds me here.

Murderer: ......(observes nearby)......

Meanwhile, at a living room located at the northeast sector, Nozomi, Mari, Umi, and Riko looked for ribbons while keeping their distance. However, their ribbon hunting turned into a conversation.....

Mari: ....I wonder what is the best way to kill in a situation like this....

Riko: What the heck, Mari!?

Nozomi: Ummm...why do you ask that in the first place? You are making yourself sound shady with what you just said.

Mari: Really? I think all three of you are the shady ones.

Umi: Guys, focus on looking for ribbons. Getting a gun as soon as possible is the only way to win....

Mari: And what if the Murderer gets all six?

Riko: Hey, cut it out!! Why are you acting like that?

Murderer: (smiles)

Amidst the talk, Nico and Kanan are on their own searching and doing their own things. Nico is at the east while Kanan is at the southeast. They did not meet each other during their activities.

At the western sector, Chika is lucky to find six ribbons. She readied her pistol.

Chika: Looks like I have no more worries about killing other players.....

Nearby, Yoshiko gathered a group composed of Dia, Honoka, and Eri to focus on "scouting" the arena for suspicious movements.

Yoshiko: Come with me, and let us hunt the witch - ehem, I mean the murderer....

Dia: Policing the area, huh? This plan of yours is sooo weird though, Why do this instead of hiding or ribbon hunting?

Yoshiko: Because I want this round to end swiftly!

Dia: Okey....it seems you like to use fast tactics, huh?

Eri: (whispers) Hey Honoka, I have doubts about Yoshiko's idea. She might be the murderer trying to lure us at a corner. Stay alert.

Honoka: (winks at her to say she gets her point.)

Not long after, the group heard two gunshots nearby.

Dia: Gunshots, guys!!

Yoshiko: Head for it! Let us find the killer!!

Eri: Wait, it could just be someone accusing each other or something.

Honoka: Guys, we need to stay together! Let us rush for the noise together!

As the group rushed to the noise, the sound of gun shots alerted only those who are at the western to northern sectors, unaware that the murderer is doing a trick. The rest of the other sectors have their own businesses, preventing them from hearing any of the gunshots.

Minutes passed. The group that Yoshiko leads investigates the noise back in the eastern sector. There, they found a dead body.

Honoka: Guys!! Guys!! Rin is dead!!

Dia: Oh my.

Yoshiko: Well....that should clear my name....

Eri: Where is she?

Honoka: Come with me!!

Everyone investigated. Dia, particularly, looked closely at Rin's wound for clues. As they looked inside, however, Honoka acted weirdly behind their backs. Moments later....

Honoka: (started running away swiftly)

Eri: Hey!!? Honoka just ran off!!

Dia: What!!? Why would she -

Yoshiko: She must be the murderer!!!

Yoshiko, Eri, and Dia hurriedly pursued Honoka despite not having guns. They are keen on catching the possible murderers than doing otherwise. However, they failed to catch her, and Honoka disappeared.

Yoshiko: Nooo!! Ms. Kousaka got away!!

Eri: That tired me a bit...but now I just feel something is off.

Dia: What should we do?

Eri: Maybe we should just warn the others that Honoka is -

"MAKI-CHAN DIED!!!"

Someone yelled those words. She started running quickly all over the place announcing it.

Yoshiko: Someone is saying Maki is dead!

Eri: Hold on a sec.....could it be....

Meanwhile, Mari, Nozomi, Riko, and Umi are all bickering with one another since everyone still there - the Murderer could be one of them.

Riko: I swear, one of you is the Murderer!! Forget about ribbons, I am watching you guys!!

Mari: Nozomi-sama is too quiet, FYI!!

Umi: Mari is talking too much also -

Kotori: MAKI-CHAN IS DEAD!!

Kotori started running towards their room.

Kotori: Umi-chan?!!

Umi: Kotori, you just scared us!! Why -

Kotori: Maki-chan died!! I went to the northern sector to look for ribbons when I found her there dead, besides the TV!

Umi: Hang on...I cannot just assume you are safe if -

Nozomi: I think it is a tactic for murderers to announce dead players in order to get people close -

Kotori: No!! Wait, no!! You can trust me!! I am not the murderer!!

Mari: PROVE IT!!

Amidst all the confusion at the north, east, and west sectors, Detective You is surrounded by Hanayo, Ruby, and Hanamaru. They are all at a large room composed of two beds and two monitors at the southern sector.

You: Hey.....Ruby, you are getting too close...

Ruby: I just wanna be safe....

Hanayo: I trust you guys are all Innocent so let us just stay together!!

Chika suddenly arrived at the scene.

You: Whoa!! Chika, you just scared us -

Chika: Does anyone have a gun here?!!

Ruby: Only You does....wait, you have a gun!?

Chika: Oh....you noticed?

You: Hey Chika....what are you up to?!

Hanamaru: ........

Before long, a gunfight erupted in this same area.

Meanwhile, Kotori is now put under suspicion. She is walking with the entire group consisting of Umi, Mari, Nozomi, and Riko while Umi is holding her hand tightly to prevent her from escaping.

Kotori: Why do you not trust me?

Umi: Because we believe you killed Maki and you are just bluffing!

Kotori: No I did not!!

Soon, they met up with the other group made up of Yoshiko, Dia, and Eri.

Eri: There you are!!

Mari: Oh you guys are safe!!

Riko: I am relieved you guys are okay!!

Dia: We just confirmed that Rin died. But while we were investigating, Honoka just ran off behind our backs.

Umi: Honoka?!!

Yoshiko: Yes, Ms. Love Arrow Shoot....uhhh...why are you holding Kotori-sama like that?

Nozomi: She is our suspect for Maki's death. She just arrived at our room claiming that Maki is dead.

Kotori: Please trust me!

Riko: Nope!!

Eri: This is getting confusing for us as well. We just started hearing gunshots and all. Anyway, it looks like we should be suspecting Honoka, Kotori, I guess....and who else....

Yoshiko: Hmm.....Kanan and Nico are still unseen...they should be put under suspicion too.

Mari: I dunno about Ruby, Hanayo, and Hanamaru. They all ganged up on Detective You.

Eri: Oh really? Then we should get to her quickly to help our investigation! Especially since none of us has a gun right now....

"THREE PEOPLE DIED!!!"

Everyone: What the?!!

Suddenly Hanamaru ran towards them, saying that three players died. She trys to talk as quickly as possible.

Dia: 3 people have died already!!!?

Hanamaru: Yes!!

Everyone was about to listen to Hanamaru's explanation when Yoshiko suddenly walked up and grabbed Hanamaru's two hands tightly.

Hanamaru: Hey!!? Why are you -

Yoshiko: Look into my eyes....are you telling the truth?

Mari attempted to leave while they are all conversing. Riko grabbed her hand tightly and silently warned her not to leave.

Hanamaru: Huh?!

Yoshiko: How on earth do you know that 3 people did die?!!

Hanamaru: Wait a minute....you don't trust me?!!

Yoshiko: Of course I don't!!

Secretly, Eri is beginning to doubt Yoshiko - could she also be pretending as well?

Current streak: 5 deaths.....Rin and Maki confirmed dead, plus three more if Hanamaru's claims are true....
