Grab your clothes and get gone. You better hurry up before the sprinklers come on. Talkin' 'bout, "Girl, I lobe you, you're the one"—this just looks like a re-run. Please, what else is on. And don't tell me you're sorry, cause you're not, Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught. [...] Oh, and the award for the best liar goes to you for makin' me believe that you could be faithful to me, let's hear your speech. — Rihanna, "Take A Bow" (2008)

Mark couldn't stop looking at the back of Merediths right upper arm. The two faintly inked on Manta Rays looked beautiful. He chuckled. "That was a great idea" he said and looked at the treadmill in front of them.

The two 99-liner were waiting for their luggage from their Kona trip. "Thanks!", Meredith chuckled. Ever since she spend time with the Manta Rays she had become a completely different person. She was way brighter and smiling almost all the time.

Last night Mark woke up to get something to drink when he saw Meredith (and her new travel companion, an eleven inches huge plush Manta Ray) sprawled on her bed, a huge smile on her face.

She even changed her lock screen from a picture of her and Seokjin to a picture Mark had taken of the Manta Rays.

"Your bag!", Meredith called and pointed at Marks duffle bag. Mark quickly snatched it from the treadmill and looked back to Meredith. Meredith was holding her Manta Ray plush in her arm and smiled. She looked very content.

"How are you?", Mark suddenly asked and Meredith's head shot in his direction. "Why are you asking this?", she asked back and Mark rolled her eyes. "You were pretty sad before the trip to Kona... and now you're so smiley and bright. I'm just wondering."

Meredith pursed her lips. "I'm happy. The Manta Rays seriously made my mood go up. I'm content." She tilted her head when she saw her weekender. She grabbed it off the treadmill and started walking towards the exit with Mark.

"And I got my answer" she then said and looked at Mark, "I'm going to break up with Seokjin." Mark widened his eyes and looked at her. "Are you sure?", he asked and Meredith nodded.

After Jaxx had send her the screenshot from Seokjins Snapchat, Meredith was sure that she had to break up with him. She knew what was expecting her at home. Seokjin had cheated on her with Yaeeun. It probably wasn't the first time. There was no other reason to why Seokjin had been so pro-Yaeeun and so anti-Meredith. Plus, he wasn't nagging her about sleeping with him anymore. So he probably got what he wanted from Yaeeun.

Meredith was confused though.

She wasn't feeling bitter about breaking up with Seokjin. No, to be honest she felt relived thinking about the fact that she was going to break up with him. She was glad that this part of her life was about to be over.

She didn't feel a second of guilt when she changed her lock screen from her selfie with Seokjin to a picture of the Manta Rays. Normally she would feel guilty changing her lock screen but it felt ... freeing.

Mark and Meredith stepped out of the arriving hall and saw Jung Jaehyun and his girlfriend Moon Baekhee standing there. Baekhee waved the two of them excitedly. "How was your trip? How were the Manta Rays?", the blonde-black haired lass asked and Jaehyun put his arm around her shoulders. "Don't jump on them like this, Baek" he grinned and looked at the two young adults.

"How was the trip?", he then asked, to which Baekhee send him a confused look. Meredith beamed. "It was magical! The Manta Rays were so, so, so huge and so ... I don't even have words to describe it! It was an out-of-this-world experience. If I could, I would do it again!" She then turned around and showed her new tattoo.

"I got this yesterday" she grinned and Baekhee sighed. "It's so beautiful!", she gasped and Meredith grinned. "Thank you! I couldn't stop thinking about the Mantas and how beautiful they were so I had to get a tattoo!"

The four of them walked to Jaehyun's rental car. "How was the situation here?", asked Mark, watching Meredith and Baekhee fawn over the Manta Rays. Jaehyun looked at his girlfriend and Meredith and sighed. "It was ... something" he said and rolled his eyes. "This Seokjin dude felt ill when we were leaving for our ATV trip so him and Yaeeun stayed at home. When we came back he looked fine though so I don't know what's up with him." He sighed and Mark nodded.

"Meredith wants to—"

Suddenly Mark felt Meredith on his arm and stopped talking. He looked at his best friend. She was still smiling, but her arms were shaking. She was nervous about what was waiting for her at home.

The drive to the Seo vacation home was quiet. Meredith was fumbling with the Manta plush in her hands and looking out of her window. She didn't quite know how she was going to do this... Was she just walking up to him and saying, "Hey Seokjin, let's break up" or should she act as if she didn't know about him cheating on her?

She didn't know.

Jaehyun parked the car and Meredith climbed out. She got her weekender from the trunk and walked into the house. She kicked off her shoes and took a deep breath. She held on to the Manta plush tightly. Mark was standing behind her. "Should I come with you?", he asked but Meredith shook her head.

"He's home, right?", asked Meredith and Baekhee nodded, while walking into the kitchen. "He said he didn't feel well. We ate oysters last night so he's probably in bed." Meredith nodded and bit the inside of her bottom lip.

Taking two steps at a time she reached the first floor. Mark was standing on the bottom of the stairs. He shook his head and followed her. He had a weird feeling in the back of his throat.

Meredith stood in front of her bedroom door. Loud R'n'B music was blasting from the inside. Meredith knew Seokjin needed music to sleep to—it was similar to her who always listened to audio books while falling asleep.

"Mer", Mark had caught up to her and she looked at her best friend. "I can do this by myself, Mark" she said and Mark nodded and stepped back. He wanted to stay in close proximity in case Meredith needed him.

The Aquarius gently knocked on the door—in case Seokjin was sleeping—and carefully opened the door. The music got louder and not only the music; from inside the room heavy huffs and deep moans were heard. Meredith widened her eyes. She knew what was going on.

She knew Seokjin was cheating on her.

She watched herself step into the room. And even though she knew; the situation in front of her was mortifying. Her body froze as she watched her boyfriend and best girl friend emerge from the pillows and blankets.

Yaeeun was sitting on Seokjin's lap, her mouth partially opened from riding him. Seokjin looked in Meredith's direction and went to cover Yaeeuns naked body with one of the fluffy blankets Meredith loved so much. The two were sweating from the workout they just done under the sheets.

Meredith knew, yet there were tears prick at the corners of her eyes. Knowing someone cheated on you was one thing but catching them in the act was another thing. Meredith watched the two young adults unplug each other from one another. Yaeeun completely wrapped herself in the fluffy blanket and Seokjin took another blanket and threw it around this throbbing groin.

Seokjin climbed out of the bed, Yaeeun following him. They were reeking of sex and Meredith felt like vomiting. Just as Seokjin reached his hand out to her, Meredith let out an ear-piercing scream.

This scream was obviously heard by Mark, Jaehyun and Baekhee. (Johnny and Hyelin went out to surf, so they weren't even at home.) Mark reached Meredith's room first, since he was just waiting outside. When he walked in and saw the two naked people standing in front of Meredith, a switch went off in his head.

He immediately understood the situation. Jaehyun and Baekhee reached the room a second later. Baekhee clasped her hand in front of her mouth and Jaehyun furrowed his brows.

"Mer", Mark quietly said, while Meredith's eyes were filling with tears. She didn't even hear him. "What's going on?", she asked Seokjin with a cracked voice. Seokjin opened his mouth. "Seokjin? Yaeeun?", she adressed the question to her two friends.

"It's not what it looks like" Yaeeun tried and Meredith let out a sarcastic chuckle—while tears spilled from her eyes. "It's not what it looks like?", she repeated. "It looks like you finally got your cherry popped!" Meredith rolled her eyes. "And the one who did it was my boyfriend." She let out another chuckle before looking at Seokjin.

"I wasn't feeling well after eating oysters last night" Seokjin spoke. "So fucking your best friend made you feel better?" Meredith scratched her forehead. "I took you to my family's house, I paid for almost every single shit you wanted to have and as a thank you you screw around with each other in my fucking bed?"

The initial shock was now turning into full on anger and Mark, Jaehyun and Baekhee knew when Meredith was angry, there was nothing to stop her.

All of a sudden Yaeeun started laughing—it sounded maniacally and mean. She held a hand in front of her mouth and walked up to Meredith, standing in front of Seokjin. Yaeeun snickered.

"Oh, Meredith Seo, you really thought I was your friend, huh? You're living the life, huh?" The blonde lass shook her head. "I only became your friend because Jin asked me to. And all I wanted was your pretty face and your boyfriend. And because you couldn't give him what he wanted, I gave it to him." Yaeeun looked at Meredith.

"He doesn't love you, Mer" she mocked Meredith's nickname, "he never did."

Meredith bit her lips and clenched her fists. Mark saw it. He knew when Meredith was angry, she wouldn't stop until someone was equally as hurt as she was. So before she could hurt Yaeeun and Seokjin he intervened.

Mark tackled her as if they were opposing quarterbacks.

Grabbing around her waist, he pushed her out of the room and towards Johnnys room, locking the door behind him. Meredith was screaming, banging her arms on his back and telling him to let go of her. But Mark didn't let go off his best friend.

Once the door was closed and he was leaning against, he let her go.

"Let me go" she sneered but Mark shook his head. "I won't" he said and Meredith started banging her fists against his chest. "Let me out, Mark!", she screamed but the taller male shook his head once more. "I can't Mer. It's better for your safety if Jaehyun and Baekhee handle this situation."

"What situation, Mark? They fucked in my bed. They both cheated on me... and I knew!" Meredith screamed and looked up at the Leo in front of her. "I deserve to rip out his fucking balls and claw out his eyes!" Mark rolled his eyes and crossed his arms in front of his chest. "I know you're more than capable of doing that."

"I'm absolutely fully capable of that, Mark." Meredith huffed out and turned around to sit on Johnnys bed. Marked watched her from the door. He could hear Jaehyun and Baekhee argue with Seokjin and Yaeeun.

"You knew it?", asked Mark and watched Meredith nod and turn into a ball on Johnnys quilt. "A guy from my IT class texted me on the Manta Ray day" she confessed. "I knew but it still hit me like a truck catching them in the act." She closed her eyes and tears started streaming down her cheeks.

Mark pushed himself off the door and laid down next to Meredith, watching her silently cry her eyes out.

Jaehyun and Baekhee had managed to kick Yaeeun and Seokjin out of Meredith's room. Baekhee took off the nasty bed sheets, cursing in front of her. While she was stuffing the dirty sheets into the washer, Hyelin and Johnny came back—giggling and laughing.

"What's going on?", Johnny asked when he heard Seokjin and Yaeeun argue upstairs. Baekhee looked up—an empty expression on her face. "Seokjin cheated on Meredith with Yaeeun" she answered quietly when she heard Jaehyun yell upstairs. Johnny and Hyelin looked at the staircase.

"What?", Johnny asked and Baekhee slammed the washing machine shut and pressed the button. "You heard me Johnny." The older male widened his eyes and looked at his girlfriend. She seemed worried. "I want them out of my house" Johnny said sternly. He could only imagine how Meredith must be feeling.

Just now Jaehyun came downstairs. His face was beet red and he angrily moved his hands through his hair. Johnny saw him. "Jaehyun, please drive them to the airport" he handed him his wallet and Jaehyun looked at him with a tired expression. Johnny understood.

Hyelin gently grabbed Johnny's wallet. "I'll drive them" she said and Johnny nodded. "Buy them a ticket to Australia, Korea or wherever the fuck these arseholes live and send them off. I don't want to see them in my house."

Hyelin nodded and quickly exchanged a look with Baekhee. Baekhee understood. "I'll come with you." Before she walked towards Hyelin, she pressed a kiss onto Jaehyuns lips and looked at Johnny. "Mer's in your room with Mark."

Johnny sighed in relief. If Mark was with her, she was going to be okay. A sigh left his lips as he watched Hyelin walk upstairs. "I'll give you ten minutes to pack your shit. It's time to leave" the Capricorn said with a stern tone in her voice.

And a hour later, Meredith was where she was now. Sitting in the rain, on the beach, her toes in the sand, her curls sticking to her head and her body and soul empty of any more tears to cry.

It was supposed to be the best summer of her life! The summer before she finishes her degree in automotive engineering. But so far this summer has only brought pain and bad memories. She knew Johnny and Mark were on the porch, watching her. But she didn't care. She was unhappy, sad and feeling randomly empty.

Meredith let herself fall back in the damp sand and closed her eyes. The rain splashed onto her face and she tried to remember everything that went down from the start to today. Maybe she didn't see it coming, because she was too blind, but Han Seokjin and Choi Yaeeun were assholes. Dirty little scumbags with nothing better to do in life than to ruin another ones life.

Meredith looked at her phone, that was clenched in her hand. She had send one last text message before blocking Seokjin and Yaeeun's number.

Mer: Let's break up.
