"Who is it?.. Klaus?" He looked down to me, unsure to tell me or not. "Tell me." I lowered my voice, sympathetically. Knowing what people are in our past lives. Seeing at the corner of my eye, all the snakes gathering around. Knowing they aren't supposed to know. "What are you all looking at!?" I begun, looking around. "Go on! This is between Klaus and I!" I exclaimed, watching them all obey orders. I dragged Klaus upstairs, closing the door behind me. I stood in front of him. "Spit it."

"I think I hear Toni-." He went to walk past me, placing my hand on his chest. I moved him back in front of me.

"Klaus... if we're going to get married. You have to tell me what you know." Klaus sighed heavily.

"Penny... Penny Peabody's back in town." He explained, there it was. The devils enemy was back, the one who destroyed her world before she had to piece it back together. The day continued as usual, but that one thing lingered in my mind. I sat beside my brother, who's girl sat beside him and my guy was by my side. Our father being separated from us by a gate made of wood. Watching as Cheryl sat there, determining our fathers future.

"Miss Blossom, You May proceed with your statement."

"Your Honour, I speak for myself and my mother when I say...we forgive FP Jones for the part he played in covering up my brothers murder. And we humbly ask the court for leniency." Cheryl begun, Jug and I shocked at first. My leg continued to jiggle of anxiety, feeling a hand being placed on my thigh for comfort. I sighed heavily. "FP's guilt has been blown out of proportion to satiate what my fathers suicide denied us. Closure."

The judge looked down to her from his high chair. "As much as I sympathise, I cant ignore the quality of Mr. Jones' crimes. There were no extenuating circumstances." I looked to my little brother, who's fingers were entwined and to his mouth. His sad eyes looking down, I took hold of his hands. Placing a kiss on his knuckles like I did to him when he was younger, telling him I love him. There was silence throughout the room, making my heart break more and more.

"My father threatened him." Cheryl blurted, making jug and my eyes shoot back up. "I overheard them talking in Daddy's study. Daddy said he'd hurt Jughead and Lucifer if FP didn't comply. Is that extenuating enough?" Cheryl asked him, feeling some sort of weight lift.

"In light of these revelations, I suggest we take a step back and reevaluate certain aspects of the case. In which time, we will revisit sentencing." As the judge his down his mallet thing, Jug and I hugged one another in relief. Both of us getting up and leaning over to tap dad's shoulder. He looked to us getting to his feet.

"Is that a win?" He questioned us.

"It's a delay, so, yeah." We explained, the three of us bringing each other into a hug. Jug and my breath quivered in relief.

Merging with the crowd, Klaus and I stood side by side. Hands in pockets as we watched the pussycats singing on the roof. We continued inside, seeing people filling up the booths. "Luci! Klaus!"

"Hey Betty." Klaus replied, his chest up against my back.

"You guys looking for a booth?" She quizzed.

"Yeah."

"Follow me."

"Lucifer! Klaus!" Jugs bubbly voice exclaimed.

"I'll see you in a bit." Klaus kissed my head, Betty and Klaus walking away. Jug almost tipped me over in a hug.

" Hey you." I rubbed his back, looking at each other face to face. Debating whether or not to tell him about the engagement. "You're bubbly."

"I'm just really cheery, that's all. Pops is staying open as well!"

"That's Good!" I smiled. "Oh, some of the snakes are coming for some food. So if they come, no need to stress. I'll see you in a bit?" He nodded, kissing his head. I joined Klaus, sitting across from him. He looked disappointed in a weird way. "What?" I raised an eyebrow.

"You didn't tell him?"

"I know, I'll tell him when the times right. He's had a big enough day."

As the king and queen sat across from one another, only knowing that their past was only haunting them from afar. They were unaware of the truth, the truth that their little prince was dealing with the snake charmer.
