Home alone, I smiled hearing Hotdog snoring on the couch. Klaus was out to the young ones, rounding them up and keeping them together. Finishing up the last few dishes there was a little knock, followed by the door opening a crack. "Luc?" Dad.

"Hi dad, in kitchen." I called out. Watching him come into view, I gestured for him to be quiet. Pointing to the couch spotting hotdog asleep, a small smile grew on his face.

"How is he?" He asked as he plopped himself down at the kitchen counter.

"He's getting there, he scoffed his breakfast down. He'll be jumping around happily soon, coffee?"

"Please." Placing down a steaming cup of black coffee in front of him, he mouthed thank you. Finishing the last dish, I could feel dad's eyes burning into the back of my skull. "How are you bub?" I sighed heavily, placing my hands out of the water on the sink. The water residue falling back into the sink, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Uneasy sits the crown." Walking over and standing in front of him, I rested my elbows onto the kitchen counter with my hands holding my head.

"Well... Penny's got the Northside in her sights, Cheryl's a loose cannon... I'm worried cause Betty is a target and I don't want Jug getting hurt again, and, uh..." I swallowed hard. "I wanted to kill her dad, she killed my child. Also on top of all that, we're not the Southside serpents anymore." I stood back up straight, keeping my hands on the table top.

"Screw the Southside. You're a serpent, by blood...and no one can take that from you, or any one of us." I smiled shyly. "She might've taken your child, my grandchild away. But, you're here. Alive, you might not be a mother. But you sure are like one to all those kids that look up to you." My eyes filling up again, I made my way around to dad. Him bringing me into a hug, I hid my nose into his neck. Hearing a blasting horn at the front of my house, I narrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Still in dad's grip, I stood back up straight. "A certain red head wants to spend time with you before tomorrow."

Walking over to the front door, swinging it open. I smiled seeing Archie in his car him and Fred done up from scratch. "Come on Luc!" My red headed boy called out to me.

"Go on, I'll keep an eye on Hotdog Till Klaus gets home." Dad squeezed my shoulder, kissing his cheek. I rushed down the stairs, jumping into the passengers seat. Kissing Archie's cheek, I patted the door.

"This is beautiful, you done such a great job." I said as he started driving away from my curve.

"Thank you, are you ready for an adventure?" He cheekily smiled.

"Sure." I laughed, us two jamming to songs. I became curious, turning down the classical 90s radio. I looked to my red headed rooster. "Where are you taking me?"

"Secret, But you'll like it. Trust me."

"Ok." I caved in. "Why are you spending time with me? I thought you would be with Veronica, Betty and juggy?"

"I'm spending time with you, cause you're important to me and I love you. So, this is going to be a good memory before I go." He gulped, I knew he was scared.

"We don't know that bud, it could go well." Him taking ahold of my hand, he gave it a gentle squeeze before he turned up the music on the 90s radio. Smiling to myself hearing Just Hold On by Louis Tomlinson came on. Leaning over to kiss his shoulder he pecked my head.

Coming to a stop on the side of the road, Archie looked up to a mountain. A smaller mossy one, one that could be climbed in shorts, a shirt and boots. "Come on." Archie got out of the car.

"We're climbing that?" I questioned getting out.

"We're not going all the way up, come on." He grabbed my hand, pulling me along like he use to when he was younger. Eager to go somewhere. Beginning to climb, Archie always looked over his shoulder to see if I needed a hand. Archie speeding ahead, he stood up on a flat surface looking down at me.

"If you judge me, I'll kick your ass boy." He laughed.

"There's a slippery spot just in front of you, I was going to offer you a-." I quickly cut him off.

"Arch, please. Help." I begged, his bubbly laughter filling the air. He brought down his hand, grabbing ahold. He yanked me up, wrapping an arm around my waist to make sure I didn't fall.

"You good?" Arch asked to make sure.

"Y-Yeah." I huffed. "Can we continue?"

"Yeah." Arch putting me in front of him, we carefully walked over a natural bridge from the rocks in the pool of the waterfall. He helped me make my way behind the waterfall, leading us to a naturally lighted cave.

"Arch, Wow." I walked around amazed, coming to a stop at a natural display of gems and rocks. Archie grabbing a box that was randomly there, he opened it to reveal a ring. "Oh Archie Andrews, don't tell me your proposing to me." I teased.

"No." He laughed. "It's a gift, do you remember what Stone this is?" He quizzed.

"Tourmalinated quartz." I begun.

"I gave you a bracelet with the same stone to you when you were having terrible nightmares, I said this will keep you safe and protected."

"Now." He started, pulling the ring out. He took a hold of my hand, slipping the ring on my ring finger. "This will keep you safe and protected while I'm away, I'll be with you in spirit." He shyly smiled, he was waiting for an answer from me. I stood there quietly whilst I stood at the stone. My heart aching. "Luc?"

Looking up at him, I pulled him into a hug. My fingers in his hair, I held back myself from crying more then I already have today. Feeling his arms wrap around my waist, I told him something oh so true. Something I wanted him to keep in mind. "You're one of the best things that have ever happened to me, I want you to know that. I'm never leaving your side. Ever."

Rip Luke, you'll be missed.
