"It's been an hour, still no sign of anyone." Toni stated whilst we all camped in the dark, hearing hotdogs whimper.

"All right. Sweet pea? You guys keep look out." Sweetpea passing jug chain cutters, him and I slowly made our way to where we once called our land. Making it through a little gate, I sighed in relief to see Hotdog.

"Hi bud, Hi." I softly said to the four legged companion, crouching to rub his small head.

"Let's get you out of here." Jug softly added, cutting the chain. In a split second, we became deers in headlights. Massive spotlights all around the yard, all of us two.

"Hiya Jonesies." Penny sing songed walking around the corner with a few ghoulies. Jug dropping the chain cutters, we watched the group grow. "Welcome back to the Southside. I thought this mangy mut would bring you two here." Ghoulies stood close to us, bats with nails bashed into them. "We need to talk."

"No, we don't, Penny." We both replied.

"We're here for the dog." Jug added.

"If you didn't want trouble, why have you sent spies all summer to get in our business? Back off. Unless you two want a replay of riot night?" Penny shrugged.

"Yeah. I've been sending scouts. I was looking for hot dog." Jug stepped in, trying to keep the pressure off of me. The crowned king, worried for his queen, his sister who once carried his niece of nephew. "Now that I.. we got him... we're good." He cheekily smiled, mimicking it. Jug grabbed my hand, whilst holding hotdog by the lead in the other. We started walking off, stopping at the classical movie reference.

"Not so fast." Spinning around slowly, I raised at eyebrow at the blonde she devil. "Your jackets. The Southside isn't yours anymore. Which means you're no longer the Southside serpents."

"Really, Penny? A jacket?" I rolled my eyes.

"We could always just take it off your limp, dead body." She stepped closer and closer to us, pushing jug behind me. I stood tall, protecting Jug with my body. "I also heard ponytails a serpent now, your Northside queen. Maybe we'll go after her next." She announced, my hand tightening around Jugs wrist. "Doesn't this look familiar, this scene? Where I stabbed through your stomach and killed your baby?" She evilly smiled, a lump grew in my throat.

"Fine. You can have our jackets, as long as you and the ghoulies stay out of the Northside." Jugs thumb rubbed against my skin, the way he use to comfort me when we were younger. His silent way of telling me, we're ok, you're ok.

"Oh, you don't get to make demands." A ghoulie came at us, hearing a ting. The guy fell to the ground in agony, with a red arrow in his arm.

"Cheryl!" I yelled to her.

"Told you I was in a mode for some hell raising." She smiled, in position to shoot again. Looking back to Penny, she had enough.

"That's it. Just kill them all." She demanded, I quickly reacted and looked to Cheryl.

"Cheryl, sweetheart, aim your next Arrow between penny's eyes." I asked of her, turning my head to the side to look back to the gang of drug junkies. Penny threw her hand in the air, ordering for them to stop. "You and your ghoulies take one step, she'll release the arrow. Cheryl doesn't miss." I stated, Penny staring at me. I smirked as I raised an eyebrow, in a try me way.

"Congratulations. You just made the Northside fair game." She warned.

"Come on." Jug grabbed my hand, pulling me along back to the car.

"See you soon you two!" Penny called out after us. Toni giving me a hand up to the back of the Ute, I patted Cheryl's shoulder in a thank you way. Toni hugged me from behind in comfort.

"Come on Jug, let's go home."

Finally a chapter out, what you think? Sorry it was crappy, I've been extremely busy and didn't want to leave you lot hanging. Let me know what you think x
