Sycamore: THE REALLY POWERFUL TRAINER WHO WILL BE BATTLING HERE TODAY IS-

The students were silent. They all wanted to know who this "very powerful trainer" was.  Especially Gary. 

Gary: Hey Ashy Boy what if this trainer is a member of the Elite Four?!

Ash: Elite Four? What's that. 

Gary: *Faceplam* Well..... i'm not that surprised .... after all, YOU HAVEN'T WON A LEAGUE YET! (laughs)

Ash: GARY!!! 

Sycamore: THE CHAMPION OF THE KALOS REGION, CHAMPION DIANTHA!!! 

The crowd of students went nuts. They were beyond speechless. They couldn't believe what they just heard. Diantha was an inspiration to the Kalos Region. Every one knew who she was. If you didnt know her, that would be considered embarrassing. 

Shauna: OH MY GOD! ITS HER! ITS REALLY REALLY HER! 

Serena: I CANT BELIEVE IT! SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL! SHE'S SO AMAZING, SHE DOES TWO DIFFERENT JOBS AT ONCE! SHE IS ALSO AN ACTOR! 

Tierno, Trevor, Clemont, Sawyer, and Calem were also in awe. They all wanted to be the one to battle her. 

Dawn: Serena you're right! She's beautiful! I want to meet her! 

May: Yeah! You guys are lucky to have such a beautiful looking champion here in Kalos. 

Gary: NO WAY! A CHAMPION!?!?!? THIS SCHOOL ROCKS ALREADY! WE'VE JUST ARRIVED HERE AND THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL CONSISTS OF A BATTLE BETWEEN A LUCKY STUDENT AND HER! 

Ash: Okay. A Champion. Atleast I know what that is.. I want to battle her! I want it to be me! I want my first Kalos battle to be against her. 

Ash had that look in his eye. The look of fight. The look of determination. The look of " I want it to be me". He then made a fist with his hands. All he was waiting for now was the Professor's answer. 

Sycamore: I WILL NOW INTRODUCE YOU ALL TO THE CHAMPION! PLEASE GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR DIANTHA! 

The champion walked onto the stage with her powerful Gardevoir. The students were loud. Everyone besides Gary and Ash. Some girl even almost fainted. 

Diantha: Hello everyone. It is a pleasure to be here today at this fine School here in Lumiose City. The centre of this beautiful region! I really do hope you enjoy our battle here today. Whoever that trainer may be. 

Serena: WOW !!!! <3. She's just amazing! 

Misty: I want to battle her!

Calem: You!? (laughs) funny. You'll get double KO'd in 5 seconds. I'll bet on it. 

Clement: Uh-oh. You shouldn't have said that Calem... 

Misty: WHAT DID YOU SAY MR!?!? ITS NO WONDER WHY EVERYONE THINKS YOUR'E LAME. ILL BATTLE YOU AFTER SCHOOL TODAY. DON'T BE SCARED YOU LITTLE BABY. 

Calem was embarrassed. Everyone was laughing at him. Even Serena. 

Calem: Fine. (in his head) Oh no. I shouldn't have said that. She's a gym leader in Kanto for crying out loud. Whats wrong with you Calem..

As the crowd was giving their applause, Sycamore noticed Ash and Gary. They weren't clapping. They were both looking at their poke balls. It's as if they were ready to battle. Even Pikachu had that determined look on his face. 

Sycamore: (in his head) Ash and Gary sure do look determined. I like that. Looks like I'm going to have to choose between them two... But I also know there are plenty of powerful trainers at this School... its what this School is known for. What will I do?

A few moments later, Sycamore finally made his announcement. 

Sycamore: ALL RIGHT EVERYONE. IVE FINALLY MADE A DECISION. BY NO MEANS WAS IT AN EASY ONE. *Clears Throat* THE LUCKY TRAINER THAT WILL BE BATTLING DIANTHA IS.... 

ASH KETCHUM!!!

The students went silent once again. They were speechless. Some of them were said they weren't picked like Tierno, Clemont, and Sawyer. Oh and of course Calem. 

Calem: Him? Wow this is going to be quick. 

Shauna: Well you are the strongest trainer at this School... 

Serena had that weird feeling inside her again. She heard that name again. ASH KETCHUM. 

Serena: Wow lucky him.. I hope he does well. I wonder what Pokemon he has.

Serena smiled. But she was also surprised to see Ash be the one who got picked. He literally just arrived at this School.

Dawn: Hmm... cheering for the opposition I see.. *winks at Serena"

Serena: WHAT?! Noooo... i-I'm just saying I hope he does well. He just arrived here. He's probably in awe right now as well. 

Ash couldn't believe his words. He did not expect that at all. He then stood up. 

Gary: WHAT?!?!? LUCKY!!!!!!! THATS NOT FAIR!!! ASHY-BOY, DO YOUR BEST! DON'T MAKE PALLET TOWN LOOK BAD!!!

Ash: Don't worry Gary! I'll do this for you! 

Gary smiled. Gary was cheering for him for once. 

Sycamore pointed to Ash. He told Ash to exit the gymnasium so he can get him and his pokemon ready. 

Ash: Wow I'm one lucky guy. 

Sycamore: (in his head) lucky... eh...

Sycamore: Okay Ash, the battle will be 2 on 2. You can substitute. She can as well. Got it?

Ash: Got it! Thanks Professor.

Sycamore: You're certainly welcome! Ill call you both out one by one. Good luck! 

Ash was now waiting outside by himself. He could hear the crowd's excitement coming from inside. 

Ash: This is going to be fun! Right Pikachu?

Pikachu: Pika! 

Ash: Okay. The professor said that it will be a two on two battle. I don't even know what her other pokemon is. I know she has a Gardevoir but thats it. Pikachu?

Pikachu: Pika?

Ash: I choose you buddy!

Pikachu: Pik-Pikachu! (I got this!)

Ash then stared at his other poke ball in his left hand and said something. 

Ash: I choose you good friend. 

Ash: Alright. Lets do this!

May: What's taking so long?

Dawn: Oh, look, there's the Professor!

Sycamore: IS EVERYONE READY TO SEE THE ULTIMATE BATTLE!?!?!?!?

The Crowd was excited and mostly cheered for Diantha. Even the group cheered for her. Except Gary.

Gary: You got this, Ash. Im cheering for you. But be careful out there. 

Dawn: Hey Serena, you look worried. Are you okay?

Serena: Yeah I'm fine.. no need to worry! ( I need to see that boy)

Sycamore: I will now introduce the Champion of Kalos, Diantha! 

The crowd ignited. The whole gang cheered for her. Even Serena. 

Cilan: Wow! What a beautiful ovation! She sure is the favourite to win it all. 

Tierno: Well, she is our champion after all ;)

Shauna: You bet! Ash can do nothing against her! Show him the power of Kalos! 

May then noticed something. 

May: Serena, are you sure you're okay? You look really worried for something. 

Serena noticed the whole gang staring at her. She tried to hide it, but she told them what it was. 

Serena: Guys! Fine.. well you see... I'm just worried for Ash. I mean, he's battling Diantha... she's really strong. I just don't know why.... I don't want to see him lose! It hurts me to see someone go down like that.... and it does look like thats going to happen.... the whole crowd is cheering for her. 

Clement: Wow, Serena. You're right. But I'm sure he's going to do just fine! After all, you were the one who said that he was passionate and determined. Maybe his determination is so high that he might just win. 

Calem: Yeah right. Im telling you guys, its going to be quick for that kid. He's done. 

Serena: Calem would you please just shut it. You don't know whats going to happen. Just watch. 

Calem: oh alright.

SYCAMORE: NOW, THE CHALLENGER, GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE.. FOR ASH KETCHUM!!!

Ash walked up to the stage. He had a smile on his face with Pikachu on his shoulder. 

Misty: Awh! That Pikachu is so cute! Reminds me of a Pikachu that destroyed my bike a few years ago... 

No one cheered. 

Serena had that weird feeling in her again. She looked at him and she smiled. But she was worried at the same time. 

Serena: (in her head) He looks really familiar.. I just can't remember... 

Serena put her hands together. She looked like she was rooting for Ash. No one even noticed. 

Ash looked at Gary and nodded his head. 

Sycamore: THIS MATCH WILL BE A 2 ON 2 BATTLE. ONCE ONE TRAINER'S POKEMON ARE UNABLE TO BATTLE, THE BATTLE WILL END AND THE TRAINER WITH POKEMON THAT ARE ABLE TO BATTLE WILL WIN. All right, SEND OUT YOUR POKEMON! 

Diantha: Auroras, I choose you! 

Auroras: Roar! 

Ash: Ive never seen that pokemon... all right, Pikachu I choose you!

Pikachu: Pika! 

Clement: So. Pikachu vs. Auroras. Should be interesting. 

Diantha: Use Light Screen!

Auroras used its Light Screen. 

Ash: Okay, Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!

Pikachu jumped into the air and unleashed a thunderbolt. Auroras didn't feel a thing. 

Trevor: That did nothing!

Sawyer: Oh it did, but that Light Screen really minimized the damage. No wonder she's the champion. Defensive minded to start a battle is key. 

Serena was getting worried. She didnt like seeing Ash going off to a bad start like that. 

Ash: Pikachu! Use Electro Ball! 

Pikachu used its Electro Ball. But somehow Auroras dodged the attack. Diantha didnt even tell it to dodge. 

Ash: But how?

May: Uhm guys... what just happened?!

Clement: Amazing! Diantha and Auroras are bonded so strongly that Auroras dodged the attack to where Diantha told it too dodge. Without talking!

Calem: I knew this would be over fast. 

Iris: He is right.. 

Ash didnt know what to do. But... something clicked in his head. Wait... I have an idea! Pikachu, this might cost us, but we have to give it a try!

Pikachu agreed. 

Diantha: All right Auroras, please finish this. Use Ice Beam!

Ash: Yes! Pikachu use Electro Ball into the Ice Beam! Quick!! 

Pikachu used Electro Ball, this caused the two attacks to collide. Leaving in smoke. 

Clement: What is Ash doing?!

Sawyer: I don't know, but I think he might have a plan up his sleeve. 

Serena: (in her head) Oh Ash... he's so brave. Him and Pikachu are trying their best even with everyone against them. Including my friends..

Tierno: Hah! He has no chance! 

Ash: Now! Run into the smoke! 

Sycamore: WHAT IS ASH THINKING!

Serena turned away. She didnt want to see what was going to happen. 

Calem: Well.... its over for that little mouse. 

Trevor: Yeah.. 

Ash: NOW! JUMP ONTO ITS HEAD AND USE IRON TAIL!

Pikachu ran into the smoke. However, he quickly saw Auroras' head because it was so tall. He then jumped onto its head and used a powerful Iron Tail attack which did a superb amount of damage! 

Diantha: Auroras! No! 

Everyone saw Auroras fall to the ground. 

" No way, it can't be." The crowd said. 

Sycamore: AURORAS IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! PIKACHU IS THE WINNER! 

Ash: PIKACHU! WE DID IT! YES! WE... BEAT ONE OF HER POKEMON! 

The crowd roared with excitement. They were in awe. 

"No way! No trainer here has ever beaten Diantha's pokemon!"

"Hes so strong!"

Some of the students said. 

Dawn: Did you guys see what I just saw?

May: I think I'm dreaming... 

Misty: I usually never give credit, but wow! He's strong!

Sawyer: Wow! That battle style of his... I never thought of that! I wonder if he has ALOT of experience.

Clement: Of course he does! As a gym leader, i've never seen a trainer pull off something so strategic. 

Calem: (in his head) Wow. He's ..... strong. He actually managed to defeat her Auroras... but he's still going to lose. 

Cilan: That was just magnificent!

Iris: Yeah!

Gary: NO WAY! ASHY-BOY IM SO PROUD OF YOU! BUT THERES STILL 1 POKEMON LEFT. Wait till Delia hears this. 

Serena was amazed. She also couldn't believe it. She didnt know what to think. Just seeing Ash get happy after the first win, made her happy as well.  She was so proud of him. 

Dawn: Hey Serena, you seem happy! 

Serena: Well... I am.... I never expected to see a trainer knock out one of Dianthas pokemon... he sure is strong! Its pretty amazing.

Serena smiled. 

Dawn: Yeah. I agree. You don't see that happen everyday!

Diantha: Wow Ash. Im honestly shocked. You surprised me for sure. When I look into you, I see hope and a fighting courage. You are quite the trainer. However, I still have my prize pokemon left. Gardevoir, I choose you! 

Gardevoir was sent out. 

Shauna: There's Gardevoir. Her best pokemon. 

Serena: (in her head) You can do this Ash. Wait.. why am I rooting for him?! Do I... never mind. But what is it? 

Serena looks at Ash. She smiles. 

Serena: (in her head) Every time I look at him, I feel something. He sure is determined. I like that. *Serena smiled again*

Ash: Pikachu, there's that Gardevoir. Do you want to stay in?

Pikachu: Pik-Pikachu. 

The crowd cheered for Pikachu. Ash couldn't believe it. The students at his School were cheering against him a few minutes ago. Now, its the opposite. 

Ash: Look at that Pikachu. They're cheering for us! Lets give them an amazing battle! Lets win this.

"PIKACHU GO! GO PIKACHU!"

Even the gang cheered for Ash. 

Dawn, May, Misty, Clemont, Trevor, Cilan, Iris, Sawyer, and Serena all cheered for Ash. 

Serena looked at Ash again. 

Serena: Look at him. Look at his eyes. *I think he has some amazing eyes* he wants to win so badly! 

Dawn: Hes determined!

Everyone kept watching to see what would happen. Who will win? Diantha or Ash?! 

THAT WAS LONG! THANK YOU GUYS FOR 150 READS IN 3 DAYS! THATS INSANE! I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE ENJOYING IT! ITS GOING TO GET SO MUCH BETTER MAN... JUST WAIT ;) LOTS OF CHAPTERS WILL BE PUBLISHED THIS WEEKEND... SO STAY TUNED... THE AMOUR IS COMING IN MORE AND MORE IN EACH CHAPTER... IMO I honestly don't like it when the amour is rushed. Of course they're going to meet, of course they're going to talk.. but not now.. the battle will build that up. Trust me :) Thanks again :) Part 2 will be out hopefully later today .
