Two series of doorbell rings

Propels me to open front door

My mind reels from the shock

My center knocked from its moor

"He's alive," flits through my brain

And a grin highlights my joy

Then I stop to remind myself

Been floating like a lost buoy

Relief drowns my bad feelings

I invite you to come inside

Emotions tumbling around

And my fear begins to chide

Know it's hopeless to fight

Too much love flows from within

Feel your arms pull me in tight

As our love begins to spin
