Is it a mistake

     to love no matter what?

Enduring all the pain

     that the loving brought

When heart won't release

     though so far away

When again we meet

     feels like yesterday

Neither can move on

     through both of us try

Carving out a life

     feelings are awry

Is it a mistake

     to live our lives this way?

Because we cannot hurt

     others in our sway
