Boom, boom, boom

     inside my house

Eyebrows drop

     I choke back grouse

Walk outside

     to find boom's source

Notes rumble

     hit ears with force

Forehead slap

     it's Thursday night

Park concert

     a summer rite

Find a chair

     and settle down

Live music

     removes my frown
