Hear lake water lapping

Against gray rocky shore

Gaze up in cloudy sky

Eyes latch on osprey's soar

Toes tickle with warm breeze

Hair lifts to feel wind's kiss

Soft quacks of mother duck

Enhances morning bliss

Minnows flash near shoreline

Dart in and out of rocks

Then hear the "kee-kee" cry

From swirling red-tailed hawks

Lay back on wooden dock

And let dawn's light sink in

Let peace fill up my heart

Feel grace as day begins
