Fuzzy fur ball in my lap

Curled up tight to take a nap

Engine purring very loud

Burns away internal cloud

Blue eyed headlights peek at me

Ball unfurls to sit on knee

For my lap has got too warm

Time for her to check the farm

Join the cats that cruise red barn

Bat around a bit of yarn

Check for mice that nibble grain

Take a walk on country lane

Trek to barn at milking time

Cats line up and meow chime

Furry line sits at alert

Giggles flow as goat milk squirts

Sit before warm fire at night

Fuzzy fur ball rolled up tight

Later she will want to roam

With the dawn she'll mosey home
