Personality: Shawn is a very lively person with an immature, yet charming personality. He tends to put up this charismatic "playboy guy" act when around people he just meets, as he often doesn't stick around to let people truly know him. He often butts heads with authority and teases others, especially those who he is close with. He has trouble expressing his emotions, preferring to crack jokes, but always shares his feelings eventually. He is extremely intelligent and calculating, but occasionally his intelligence is more focused on humour than his work. Shawn marches to the beat of his own drum, he is horrible at following orders, and in turn can be a little reckless. In Shawn's moments of seriousness, he is efficient and always tries to get the job done. He is rather stubborn, refusing to give up when he knows there's a chance at success. Backstory: Shawn was born to a poor family, as his father was a struggling factory worker and his mother was trying to become a writer, although she never could publish any books. Once he was old enough, he started to work jobs to help support himself and his parents. One day when Shawn was a child, a man broke into their home in the slum part of town and ended up killing his mother. Shawn watched the incident happen as he hid, and was traumatized by the event. The police never did catch the murderer. In his mother's honor, Shawn became a detective to help others.
