Hello hello, fellow fans.

Today we are going to talk about Lucifer. Noooo not the actual devil, all the creepers out, now! We are gonna talk about the show. Although...

Who's a fan? Raise your hand!

For those of you who aren't familiar with the story, let me introduce you. Above on the left, the DC Entertainment's Vertigo imprint, on the right the tv show version. Based on a much-loved comic book character from Neil Gaiman's comic The Sandman, Lucifer is a derivative drama with a satanic twist. Meet Lucifer Morningstar.

The Devil.

He's quite open about it too. You know why? The devil never lies.

So what is this show about? It's about the Lord of Hell, obviously, who has abandoned his throne and retired to L.A, where he is indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and music.

  Spoilers alert ;)

When he is introduced to LAPD homicide detective, Chloe Decker, Lucifer becomes intrigued by her. As they work together to solve murders, Lucifer is struck by Chloe's inherent goodness. Used to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, he begins to wonder if there's hope yet. Maybe everyone's got a chance for redemption. Even the Devil.

After three seasons, Fox decided to drop the show in favor of other projects, raising a massive backlash from the fans.

This strong reaction was to be expected as the third season ended with quite the cliffhanger. I mean, we were waiting for Chloe to finally realize Lucifer is not kidding when he tells her who he is for three long years. And when she finally does, bam, this is it, folks.

Well, we didn't think so. ,, and hashtags flooded the internet. The fans didn't eat, didn't sleep, their fingers went bloody from all the tagging... okay now I am exaggerating, but they did go crazy.

How about you? Were you one of the awesome people trying to safe Lucifer?

If you were then good job! The show was picked up by Netflix and we can expect season four in 2019.

The cast was ecstatic. Being a big family behind the scene, they were floored by the fans' support. They left numerous thank you messages either video or in writing.

"Can't express how grateful and humbled I am by the wave of support that you all have given. Thanks to you #LuciferLives. Thank you to our new home too @Netflix you have made a lot of people very happy 😈#Lucifersaved #Luciferseason4"

Tom Ellis

"I want to thank all the #Lucifer fans who have come out to meet us here in NZ. You're all so lovely. I'm humbled by the support and love. It's been a pleasure to meet each and every one of you ❤️❤️"

Lauren German

"Thank you LUCIFANS this is because of you. Thank you to for your support and awareness of our fans feelings and voices❤️ Thank you to for caring about what FANS want to watch and giving our show a Season 4. We PROMISE we will not let any of you down. Now we get to work! Consider your work here done... 😈❤️🙋🏼‍♀️ "

Reachel Harris

"You fans are incredible. You did this. We are so happy to keep the family together. Lucifer on Netflix is back. Has a ring to it I say. Thank you and Thank you to each and everyone of you who fought like a demon!"

Lesley-Ann Brand

And more and more of these little thank you notes came from the cast. They seem as happy as their fans about the season four.

Even though the pace of the show is a little slow, it is very interesting and we get to meet beings of all kind and Lucifer's family, his mother included.

What is your favorite character?

Who's the most badass?

Who's the funniest one?

Who is the biggest pain in the ass?

What was the biggest surprise of the show for you?

😈 What did you think about the whole Sinnerman plotline? What about Marcus himself?

Familiar was he, huh? Sure he was, Tom Welling spent 10 seasons as Clark Kent in Smallville. I think we can all agree that after all that time he deserved a break, and he actually never planned on returning to TV. Luckily showrunner managed to paint the experience in colors so bright, he couldn't say no.

😈 Lucifer in the show spends a lot of time playing the piano. He looks so natural, one has to wonder, how much of that is the actual actor and how much is a backing track. Well, rest amazed, apparently, it's all Tom Ellis.

Before he became a professional actor, he played French horn, and even now he's bouncing between acting and music.

😈 Although the all know Lucifer is supposed to live in L.A., only season 3 was actually filmed there. First and second season were filmed in Vancouver, Canada.

😈 Lucifer was supposed to be an American. But when they filmed the lines in an American accent. , the character came off as horrible. He seemed cocky and rude whereas, Tom's natural British accent made Lucifer's rude behavior and abrasive lines come off as charming and more acceptable.

I hope y'all had fun and see you next time!
