We finally headed back to Indraprastha.

"I didn't even imagine that I'd stay here at Indraprastha forever."
I wanted to see my mom and dad. Let them know that I'm married to the world's strongest warrior.

It was our wedding night, I'm going to make sure that I know everything tonight and make sure that I don't grow unnecessary feelings other than this arranged marriage.
~~~~~
He was already in our room, seated in the bed staring at the moon through the balcony.
"So you got to prove to the whole world that you are an undefeatable warrior." I walked to the balcony.
"What?" he exclaimed.
"Thank you, Rajkumar Arjuna for saving my life. If you did not help me, I'd have to marry Duruyodhana."
"Is that what you think?" he walked beside me.
"Yeah. I promise you that I will not do anything to disturb you. I'll just stay silent as your wife and do my work. You can carry on with your life."
"You are dumb, Dhaksha." he laughed at me.
"What did you say?" I turned to face him.
~~~~~~
Arjuna's pov
"I said that you are dumb." I moved closer.
"Then, explain to me why am I dumb?" she asked
"Is she acting like she doesn't know anything I feel about her or she's dumb?"
"Why would I fight so hard and put my life at stake to save you from Duruyan?" he asked.
"Why did you help me, Arjuna? She moved closer.

"My heart skips a beat every time she gazes at me with those eyes."
"Because I wanted to help my Madhava's sister. I did this for him." I lied again.
"Is that why you fought for me? Are you sure?" she asked me.
"Yeah," I let my ego win and never confessed my feelings to her.

~~~~~~
Dhaksha's Pov
"We didn't expect Arjuna to come up and help you, Dhaksha." Bheem na said.
"Yeah, we pretty much assumed he hated you." Nakula laughed.
"He should've just let me marry Duruyodhana. Instead of marrying me out of pity."
"Well, he just helped me out. So that I would not end up marrying Rajkumar Duruyodhana." I replied.
"Is that true, Bhaiya?" Sahadev asked.
"Well, I'm a good human being, Sahadeva. I do help people in need." Arjuna replied.
"Yeah, that's what I thought."
"The good thing is Dhaksha's going to stay here forever which means good laddoos forever," Bheem na laughed and everyone laughed back.
"The good thing is I got a family like this out of this. A really good and responsible brother like Yudhistran, a protective and funny brother like Bheem, who resembles my brother, and caring and loving brothers like Nakula and Sahadev. At last, my Sakhi, Draupadi and my sister Subhu. I'd be happy to be part of this family."
"I'm thinking of making coconut laddoos today. What do you say?" I smiled at him.
"Double okay," Bheem na shouted.
"I smiled on the outside but my heart kept going for Arjuna. Craving for his love and care. No matter how much I consoled myself."
~~~~~
Arjuna's Pov

"After talking with Subhadra for a very long time it felt good and calm. Unlike being with Dhaksha.
In her presence, I can't even think properly or even breathe. She's the one that makes it impossible for me to take my eyes off her at any given moment. I feel like my body and soul would burst into flames whenever she's beside me."

I walked to our room to find her already asleep.
"She looked even more beautiful when she was asleep."

I put a blanket on her and I fell asleep on the floor beside her because I didn't want to disturb her or touch her without knowing that she felt the same way I felt about her.

Dhaksha's pov

I got up in the middle of the night and saw the great warrior was asleep on the floor beside the bed. He chose to sleep on the floor rather than sleeping beside me. I took the blanket on the bed and covered him with it.

"What are you doing?" he asked me while his eyes were closed.
"I thought you were asleep." I sat on the bed.
"A good warrior is always aware of his surroundings. What will happen if someone kills us in sleep?" he got up.
"Why would someone try to kill me? I always sleep in peace unlike you."
"Well, after becoming my wife you have to forget about sleeping in peace." he chuckled.
"Who asked you to marry me?" I shouted.
He started to laugh.
"Get on the bed, sleep beside me," I shouted.
"What?"
"What if they attack me thinking it was you?"
He walked to the other side of the bed and sat next to me.

"Is this okay? Do you want me to come even closer?"
"If you ask me like that I would say I don't even prefer an inch gap between us."
"Tell me, Dhaksha," he asked me again.
"Five feet apart, Mister," I replied.
"When will you stop calling me Mister? You are supposed to call me your Aarya. Did you see how polite your sister is?" he asked me.
"And you are supposed to be sweet to me. Are you?" I moved inside the bed.
"Do you want this Arjuna to be sweet to you?" he looked into my eyes.
"Oh, lord. Would you stop doing this?"
I kept staring at his lips.

Arjuna's Pov

"She was five feet apart from me sitting in my bed staring at me with her ravishing eyes.
"Go to sleep, Mister," she said.
"That's it she's getting on my nerves."
I moved closer and held her wrist tightly.
"Call me, Mister again. You'll have to face the consequences." I said.

She leaned in closer to me
"What are the consequences, Mister?" she whispered to me.
"Air around started to suffocate me. The Great Warrior Arjuna started to get weak in front of this woman."
I leaned in closer, while she closed her eyes.

Dhaksha's Pov

Without my consciousness, my eyes closed and my body leaned in when he moved closer. That's when I felt a strong hit of air against my face. I opened my eyes to see him smiling at me.

"What the fudge did he just do?"
"What did you just do?"
"Did you expect me to kiss you?" he asked.
"I'll just leave this room" I got up.
"Dhaksha, wait." he held my wrist.
"Don't touch me." I shouted back.
"I thought we were arguing for fun." he replied.
"Why did you marry me out of pity? Why did you marry me because of my brother? Who asked you to? You should have left me to marry him." I shouted.
"Why did you think I fought so hard in the Swayamvara?" he shouted back.
"Why, Arjuna?"
"It's because I can't let you go out of hand. I can't let any men be near you or touch you. I can't let any men in the world marry you. No matter how strong they are, I'm going to fight them and make you mine, Dhaksha." he uttered those golden words.
"What?"
"Dhaksha, you know how I felt around you. I could not breathe, I could not think, I couldn't even concentrate on anything properly. I'm not able to do anything. All I was able to do in your presence was fight the urge to lean forward and touch your lips with mine." he held both my hands.
"Why would you fight the urge, Aarya?" I held his hands tightly.
He moved closer to me and planted a soft kiss on my cheeks.

"My heart started to beat fast. My body started to shake so hard."
"I married you because I fell in love with you the moment I saw you in the woods, My dhaksha." he smiled at me. " I didn't think of anything, I don't know if you feel the same way. But I was selfish back at the Swayavara, I didn't care about my wives or anyone. I just wanted to make you my wife."

I ran to my things and took the painting I had drawn of him.

"Here. " I gave him.
He looked at the painting.
