Malia's P.O.V.

Jay and I have already started dating. Ever since we got together, I've felt more happy and more normal, surprisingly.

This was the first time I actually felt wanted. I've never felt wanted my whole life by my mother.

I can tell the same thing has happened with the rest of my friends and boyfriend.

I was in goodness class with the others. We were doing some homework, since we had nothing else to do.

Soon, Fairy Godmother walked to us.

"Children. Excuse me. As you all have heard, this Sunday is Family Day here at Auradon Prep. And, because your parents can't be here due to...uh..distance, we've arranged for a special treat." she explained.

I smiled as I began to warm up to the Headmistress.

She went to a TV and clicked on something.

"Kids." she called us as she gestured us to come.

We all stood up and we all got there. I ended up seeing mine and my friends' parents on screen there.

"Evie! It's Mommy. Oh, look how beautiful! Well, you know what they say, the poison apples don't fall far from the tree." Evil Queen said.

"Don't you mean the weeds?" Mom asked.

"Oh! Who's the old bat?!" Cruella shrieked with that annoying voice of hers.

"This is Fairy Godmother." Mal told her.

"Still doing tricks with eggplants?" Mom teased her.

"I turned a pumpkin into a beautiful carriage!" the Headmistress told her as she and the other parents were snickering.

"You really couldn't give Cinderella until 1:00 a.m., I mean, really? What? The hamsters had to be back on their little wheels?" Mom said as she fist bumped EQ and the others laughed.

"They were mice! They were not-they were mice. You can go now." she said.

"Thank you." Mal said before Fairy Godmother stepped aside.

"Hi, Mom!" my sister and I greeted.

"Girls!" she shouted, making me sigh in frustration.

"I m-m-miss you." she stuttered.

"You children are never far from our hearts." Jafar told us.

"Yes, indeed." Hook added.

"I got it." Mom told him. "How long must Mommy wait to see you?" she asked us.

"Oh, this big coronation coming up, maybe sometime after that." Mal explained.

"When?"

"Friday. 10:00 a.m." I answered.

"You sure I can't see you before that? I don't know what I'll do if I don't get my hands on that magic wand-you! You little nuggets that I love so much." she claimed, making me roll my eyes as I knew she was absolutely lying.

She never loved us. I mean, I did care about her, but she didn't seem to care about us.

"Yes, we completely understand, Mother." Mal told her.

Just then, Cruella zoomed her creepy face in.

"Carlos! Is that a dog?!" she shrieked.

We all turned to the boy and Dude, who whimpered.

I felt sorry for the poor dog for having to see her. I reached over and scratched his head.

"Oh! Oh, yes baby, I know that it would make the perfect size for earmuffs!" she said, followed by her creepy laugh.

Carlos then stepped forward.

"He's the perfect size for a pet! This dog loves me and I love him. And, FYI, your dog is stuffed! So, give it a rest!" he stood up to her for the first time ever.

"Oooohh, burn!" Jafar and Hook said in unison.

"Why don't you go sell and hunt yourselves a toaster and crocodile you two-bit salesman and pirate?" she told them before they all started arguing.

I had enough and shut the television off, making all of us sigh.

"I'm so sorry." Fairy Godmother apologized.

"Thanks for the special treat." Jay told her.

"Oh, of course." she replied with her soft voice.

We all went to the tables and grabbed out stuff.

"Mal, Malia? What do you think our parents are going to do if we don't pull this off?" Evie asked.

"I think they will be quietly disappointed in us, but ultimately, proud of us for doing our best." my sister responded.

"Really?" Carlos asked.

"Nope. I think we are definitely goners." I responded.

We all began walking until Jay held my hand in his. I looked down as so many thoughts crossed my mind.

'What's going to happen when Mom gets the wand?'

'What will happen to Eclipse and the horses?'

'What will happen with me and Jay?'

"Malia? Are you okay?" Jay asked. I shrugged before we stopped.

"Hey, we'll catch up with you guys." he said. The others turned.

"Why? What's wrong?" Mal asked, and being the older concerned sister, began to walk towards us, but was held back by Evie.

"I'll take care of it. Don't worry." he told her before they left.

Jay led me to a corner where he looked at me.

"What's wrong, gorgeous?" he asked me.

I looked at him and my eyes began getting cloudy. Everything gave it away, so he didn't have to take time to figure it out.

He wrapped his arms around me and I responded immediately.

"Everything will be okay. I promise. As long as we're together, nothing will get in the way." he explained as I nodded.

"You can let it out."

I shook my head as I forced the tears back.

We stayed there for a while before we realized we were there for 30 minutes.

Jay and I shared a passionate kiss before we left to meet up with the others.

A/N: I can't remember everything they said while planning, so I'll just go with what I feel they said.

"When the doors open and Ben comes in, I will be in the very front. You all will be up in the balcony." Mal explained.

"Got it." I said.

"Carlos?" she asked him. "I'll drive in with our limo so so we can break the barrier and get back on the island with the wand." he explained.

"Perfect." I said.

"Evie." she told her as she handed her a perfume bottle with blue liquid in it.

"You will use this to take out the driver. Two sprays and he'll be out like a light." she explained.

"Okay." Evie replied.

Jay and I went to his bed and he lay his head on my lap.

Carlos went to his bed with Dude and Hallie and Mal sat down while Evie was still standing.

"M. You wanna break Ben's love spell?" she asked. We all snapped our heads to their direction.

"Yeah. You know, for after." Mal responded.

"Mal? Why would you want to do that?" Hallie asked.

"I've just been thinking. You know, she the villains finally do invade Auradon, and begin to bloot and kick everyone out of their castles and imprison their leaders and destroy everything that is good and beautiful, Ben still being in love with me just seems a little extra...cruel." she explained.

Mal closed her book and got up before storming off. Evie tried to stop her, but she couldn't.

One by one, everybody exited out until it was only me and Jay.

Carlos was with Dude on the other side of the room.

I looked at him.

"Well, just tomorrow left." I told him.

"I know. But, don't worry, I'll stay by your side, even if Auradon crumbles." he told me.

He kissed my forehead and I got up.

"Goodnight." I told him before giving him a kiss.

"Night, Malia." he said as he lay down.

"Night, Carlos." I told him.

"Night."

I closed the door on the way out and I felt like seeing Eclipse. I quietly exited the building and ran all the way to the stables.

I went to Eclipse's stall and I see she wasn't there. I began to get worried about the horse I adored.

"Eclipse!" I called out. I heard a whinny come from outside.

I ran again until I ended up in the pasture and stood on the fence.

"Eclipse!"

The sound of running hooves came to me and the beautiful horse came to me. I smiled as I kissed her face.

"Hey, girl." I greeted her. She nickered and nuzzled my cheek.

I jumped to the ground and grabbed a handful of her mane before I hauled myself up onto her back.

As Eclipse was walking, I began to think about what would happen to her once we get the wand.

'Will she be killed?'

'Will she get taken away from me?'

'Will I never see her again?'

All these thoughts of what would happen to me, Jay, my sister, our friends, everything finally got to me.

My eyes clouded as I hugged her neck.

I realized that I was doing something I had never done before in my life.

I cried.
