Meanwhile, Soha is so happy to discover that Nandani did not come home all night while Maddy is mad that she spent the whole night with Manik.

Manik escorts Nandani to her home. Maddy lashes out and see Manik and Nandani together,

Maddy pulled Nandani away from Manik

"I m Nandani's father" said Maddy to Manik

(As he  wants to keep Manik away from Nandani)

Whereas Nandani was trying to free herself from Maddy's grip

Manik sees through his facade and based on Nandani's reaction when Maddy pulled her away from him, he understands that the "You all men are same and the other men" Nandani referred to earlier was Maddy.

"Hey.... I m Manik... Manik Malhotra heir of Malhotra empire" said Manik with attitude to Maddy

Maddy made so what face

" Vaise for a piece of information, I m a law student and you know what sexual offenders get a max of two years in jail and those kind of people might not even survive in jail" said Manik by in all his attitude tone.

Maddy got a little bit scared from Manik's talks and removed his grip over Nandani.. And move from there

Nandani smiled. He was turning to go but then he again come back to Nandani. 

Manik- " Nandini ye lo" by giving his mobile to her

Nandini- "main iska kya karungi" by looking at the mobile

Manik smiled

Manik- (smilingly) Chatting krenge night main...

Nandini- (widening his eyebrow) Chatting....

Manik- hmm..

Nandini- Nhi.. Nhi.. Mujhe nhi chahiye ye aap hi rkhiye by giving mobile back to Manik

Manik- Wait, Wait... Isse tum apne pass hi rakho... Jab bhi tum kissi bhi prblm main ho just call me once, aur main bhaaga bhaaga aa jaunga...

Nandini- (smilingly) par...  

Manik- par var kuch nhi isse rekho apne paas... Thik h, take care, see u in night and wink to her and smilingly go from there

Nandani widened her brows when he winked but then she smiled seeing his concern for her.....

A thought to keep in mind: Recall the kiss scene on the hockey rink back, the picture he took is  on this phone.

In morning, at school, news about Manik's bet has spread rapidly. (He bet with his friends that he'll get a photo of him and Nandani kissing).

The result of the bet will be announced at the school's track field.

No bets go without punishment. The person who placed the largest bet gets to declare a punishment. It's no surprise that this person turns out to be Rose, the person Manik dumped in front of a bus..... So, Revenge,revenge and revenge.....

Rose think that Nandani will never ever let Manik kiss her... So, she plan a punishment for Manik

And the punishment she had decided was to wear pink heels and run 10 times around the track. That's pretty embarrassing for the leader of the school hockey team, no? It's wearing PINK heels too

Manik reached the school, crowd was gathered and he understand what is going on... His friends reached near Manik and start asking him about bet...

Manik' friend- Manik show them pics and say that we won this time too....

Manik look towards all and then he finally speaks

Manik- (slowly) buddy, I lost the bet

Manik's friend- wat??? In a shocked tone

As it was for the first time Manik had lost bet...

Manik announces loudly that he lost the bet. Nandani, who came at that time and was walking towards canteen area hears this and become confused. She looks for his phone and checks the photos and she see that he has clicked the pic when he kissed her.... She became confused as why he is doing all this and look toward him

Manik can't see her as she was standing far away from him...

Manik- "One more thing everyone Nandani was my last target.... From now onwards I will not make bet to kiss a girl"

" So, Manik you are ready for your punishment" said Rose smiling evilly...

He nods in yes and readily accepts his punishment... He takes out his shoe and wears heel. However it was impossible for him to walk in those pink heels and here he has to run in this pink heels...

He try to  run but he fall, he's out. Swelling come on his ankel..

Manik is then bought to the nurses' office where he met Aliya (Hockey Girl remember) and then an amusing conversation erupts.

( Aliya is a doctor)

"An athlete using his feet as a bet, you have guts, but you're very childish too." she shoots him a suger coated arrow.

"Miss, don't you think you worrying too much for me? Are you interested in my hockey skills or interested in me?" he shamelessly shoots one of his Cupid arrows.

"Interested in you..... Never" Aliya said smilingly

Manik was going to say something but got disturbed by the phone call.... It was  Nyonika's call checking up on Manik and Aliya scene progress going on. Manik excuse from Aliya to talk to Nyonika

Manik- (irritatedly) Hmmm

Nyonika- Manik, what is d scene between you and that girl...

Manik- Seriously, you think I will do what you will say??? There can be nothing between me and that girl...

Nyonika- But may be you remember about your father's building or not... Remember you may  lost if nothing is done early. Only that girl can help us, rest is in your hands....

Manik cuts the call irritatedly...

Aliya overhears their conversation..

Manik turn and see Aliya standing and watching him curiously...

Aliya  asks if "that girl" they were mentioning referred to her.

Manik tells her flat out that his mom wants him to date her so that the university can get money from her father. It's as simple as that and Aliya gets impressed by his honesty.

Aliya's pov
Ohhh!!! He is soo cuteee and sweet sab kuch itni easily bol diya!!!

Manik- So, you will be angry on me

Aliya- (smilingly) Not at all

Manik smiles and left from there saying see you again...

Meanwhile, Maddy and Nandini are driving home in his truck.

His constant inappropriate glances at Nandini makes her feel very uncomfortable.

Maddy suddenly decides to go buy some household things before heading home.

He walks over to the turtle cage and picks up one of the turtles trying to crawl out. As he picks the turtle up, he hints to Nandini that she won't be able to escape from him no matter how hard she tries by holding the turtle tightly in his grip and smiling evilly.

Terrified by his warning, Nandini runs out of the market and cries in despair. She takes out the phone that Manik gave him and for a second she wants to call for help. But then she extinguishes that thought. No one turn to  help her...

Nandini's pov
No... No..... Nandu  yha mera koi bhi apna nhi h jisse main apne saare pain share kar saku... I was alone and will be  alone always... There will be no one who will stand with mee and will fight with this world for mee.... thought she while rubbing her tears away with the back of her hand....

It's almost 7:00 and Manik was already at that building waiting for Nandini to come.

When she finally arrives, he feels happy that she came... He makes a lame joke about her being late but Nandini is in no mood for any jokes today.

Today is not a happy day. Nandini rushes through the only musical piece she knows and Manik gets annoyed and is worried at the same time that why the hell she is not speaking and why she is upset...

Nandini played the musical instrument thinking Manikks concern for her...

She remembered her Mom, her talks, and smile, her concern but now she is all alone to fight with this cruel world. She remember her mom when she hold her fingers to cross the road but now there is noone, no one to hold her fingers.... A lone tear escaped from her eye which was not un noticed by Manik

Manik was feeling restless whereas Nandani was busy playing the instrument thinking that its now only her life, may be God has written so much pain in my life...

Nandini starts to leave after playing the music but Manik stops her and reminds her that injured bird is today also there waiting for her care by making her look at the bird.

Nandini explodes. "What responsibility? You think that just because you saved her you have the power to interfere in her life? If You will treat her well now, then how is she going to live in the future? You think you can always be at her side? Don't treat her well anymore and stop worrying about her. She has her own life."Your one moment of help isn't help, it'll only let her feel more painful" Nandini said this indirectly to Manik to stop him interfering in her life as she doesn't want to become dependent on Manik.

"Because you'll never be part of her family, and from the start to the end, she'll always be alone." Nandini said sobbing as now she can't hold her tears more in front of him.

Manik holds her hand and take her in a tight hug.. First of all Nandu resist but then she gave up and hug her tightly. Manik was unknown to the pain of Nandini but he gave her a hug in order to make her understand that he is there for her and she can share her problems with him anytime. Manik does not ask reason of her pain as he thought she is not in state to talk now. So, finally he drop her to the house. When Nandini was going inside Manik voice stopped her

Manik- Nandu, I m there for u, Believe mee you can share anything from me, I will love to become a part of your life, Bye, Take care....

With that he left...

Back at the house, there was a  lady (who see Maddy misbehaving with Nandini one time)  meets up with Soha and warns Soha about Maddy's wandering eyes (on Nandini). But Soha dismisses that notion...(or maybe she's just ignoring all the obvious signs)

The next day at the school cafe, a student runs up to Nandini and informs her that Manik is injured and is waiting at the Malhotra's old building( where Nandu play instrument for Manik)  for her.

It's a trap. It's Rose and her god brother up to no good. They want to kidnap Nandini..

Meanwhile, Manik calls his old phone (which he gave to Nandini) and is surprised that someone else picked up who is no other than Rose.

Rose- hello Manik

Manik- Rose tum... Where is Nandini???

Rose- (smilingly) How r u Manik???

Manik- (loudly) I ask where is Nandani??

Rose- (smilingly) You are very desperate about Nandani... Achaa chalo I will not trouble you more, Nandani is kidnapped by mee, If you want to see her alive come to hockey rink now or else you know what can I do with her....
