The final battle started. Sonic brought out his Greninja and Red brought out his Charizard and mega evolved it to Mega Charizard X. Greninja used water shuriken but Mega Charizard X blocked it and used fire blast, Greninja leaped up and dodges it and threw another water shuriken at it. Mega Charizard X dodged the attack. Red saw the look on its pokémon's face, it was a bit angry. Mega Charizard X flew using dragon claw on Greninja, it dodged the attack but Mega Charizard X turned and used mega punch at the right time sending Greninja flying backwards but stabbed on its feet. Mega Charizard X surprised it by doing a sudden quick fire blast but Greninja hurled a water shuriken towards it which collided and created a big explosion.  As the smoke cleared,Mega Charizard X flew as it used flamethrower sending Greninja flying and fall in front of Sonic's feet, but it got up.

"I have to admit, your Charizard is stronger than I though."Sonic said but  I'm just getting started. Sonic then did the spirit fusion and Greninja turned to Sonic-Greninja. It stood a few metres away from Mega Charizard X who was waiting  for Greninja to battle.

"Charizard,use blast burn"

Mega Charizard X listens and punches the ground as a large fire emerge from the ground towards  Sonic-Greninja.

"Use water shuriken to stop the attack.",Sonic commanded.

Sonic-Greninja creates a water shuriken and stabs it on the ground and large amount of water burst from the ground stopping Mega Charizard X's  blast burn.

"Dragon claw"

Mega Charizard X flew and used dragon claw but Sonic-Greninja blocked it by using cut creating a shock wave . Sonic-Greninja  used hydro pump but Mega Charizard X dodged it and countered with heat wave giving Sonic-Greninja some damage.

"Aaaarg!". Sonic flinched Because during the spirit fusion, whatever damage it's pokemon takes the trainer also feels the pain.

Sonic-Greninja used mega kick sending Mega Charizard X sliding across the ground.

Mega Charizard X retaliated with a strong fire blast but  Sonic-Greninja dodged it and used water circuit creating a water shuriken 10x its normal size a water surrounds it and throws it towards Mega Charizard X.  However it blocked the attack but it flinched making it angry.

The fight got really serious as the two skillful and strong pokemon exchanged powerful moves. Sonic-Greninja used water shuriken and Mega Charizard X used fire blast.  Those two powerful moves hit each pokemon covering them with dust.

As the smoke cleared the two were both standing. Mega Charizard X neatly fell but stood upright. Sonic-Greninja on the other hand  turned to normal and collapse to the floor with swirling eyes signifying that it has fainted. Red won.

"That was one incredibly tough but in the end it looks like Red's Charizard is the last one standing therefore Red is the winner of the final round!!"the announcer said.

The spectators cheered extremely loud for Red.

"You did great",Sonic said while helping him up and put its arm around his shoulder.

"Now Red and Sonic please go back to the lobby".the announcer said.

"That was a fantastic battle.  I'll be looking forward to challenge you again.

"Alright, so you're the famous Sonic the hedgehog. It's nice meeting you."Red said.

"Yeah, it's also a pleasure meeting the Kanto region's pokemon league champion."Sonic said as he shook his hand."I have to go..see ya."

Sonic then leaves the field  as Red does the same thing.
