Surprise! Double update today!

"I am so happy, we have you Abhi",Kanyaka said and patted his cheek.

"I'll take your leave then,aunty. I have some work to do and I wanted to check on Ekantha so I came here. Take care of yourself and incase you need anything, don't forget I am here. Ofcourse, Vennela and aunty will not let the matter come till my side but still",he said and Vennela nudged him to which he chuckled.

"Ekantha, go see him off dear",Kanyaka said and she nodded.

"No, no, it's fine aunty! She needs to rest now",he said and bid bye to all of them and travelled back to his office.

All the time he was travelling, her words were ringing in his ears.

He reached his office and Kinnera was working on her desktop making the designs for the wedding album which they needed to deliver.

"Kinnera, didn't you go home yet?",he asked and she nodded a no.

"Alright, I'll put these pictures to your desktop in a seperate folder. This event deadline is almost a fortnight away, but still once you are done with that today you can start working on this tomorrow or the day after. There are a lot of things to cover",he said to which Kinnera nodded.

"Are you okay, Kinnera?",he asked.

"Sir, amma is asking me to quit the job and get married. I don't know how long I will be able to fight with her and continue doing this",she said sighing.

"But what is the relationship between marriage and job?",he asked and she just shrugged.

"Because people want a house wife,sir and I have two more sisters in my home. I need to do this for them at least. I am trying to save my career and their future as well sir, but it's just the time is also now close by and the proposal that came last week they said they don't want me to work. The guy is all good sir hopefully he doesn't turn out to be a dominant psycho. I just wanted to inform you before hand so that you can go for a replacement and hire the new person in my place",she completed saying it all.

"That's okay Kinnera but why don't you wait for some more days? Maybe you'll get a better match. Who in these days would like to sit in home? Why don't you take some more time?",he asked.

Kinnera was nothing less than younger sister for him and he would always wanted the best for her. Hearing this from her made his heart ache.

"Kinnera, I think you should say a no, the guy who doesn't want you to work and ruins your career how will you live with him?",Abhi says once again.

"I wish I could sir, but something is better in this case. I was atleast able to work and explore my career for two years atleast. My mother didn't even get that chance sir, now if my sisters should get the chance then I think I have no other way, sir",she said.

"At the end of the day, it's in your hands Kinnera. I wish you realise what's going on and stop it before it's too late",he says.

Later both of them get back to their work. Abhi uploads all the pictures and gets back to home. He didn't know if he should say about all of it to his parents or not. Will it be his place to explain it to them? Or should he wait for Kanyaka aunty to talk to them?

He entered the home to see his sister glued to television. His mom and dad on either sides of her and when his sight moved to the telivision again, he understood what was the reason his family was here stuck like a glue to telivision.

Of course it's IPL season and its SRH vs CSK match and his family would never miss an CSK match, they would even sell him if someone says CSK will win the match if the did so.

"What's the status?",he asked rolling his sleeves and settling down on the couch. Nobody replied, and it was not new to him.

Once the match was over and they had a mini celebration that CSK won the match. All of them sat down to have their dinner.

"Amma, Appa, I want to talk to you about something",he said clearing his throat.

"What is it, kanna? Is everything okay?",Vishalakshi asked.

"Yes amma, everything is fine. I was thinking to talk to you about Ekantha's proposal. Can we just go ahead with engagement and wait for the marriage? Its just that, my start up started getting into work just these days and you know right, initial days are so important in business and also in relationship. I don't want to choose one among Ekantha and start up, every single day. Give me an year time so that Ekantha will also learn to get habitual to me and know me enough to trust me as well as I can settle down a bit in my start up",he completed saying and nobody from his family spoke anything.

He looked at their faces and all of them were serious.

"If you are thinking, Ekantha is making me do this. Then no, I wanted to talk about this since long but just didn't get enough time with work pressure",he said once again.

"Kanna, we know what Ekantha means to you and we agree with what you said. Let me have a word with your father and then to Ekantha's parents about it once again",Vishalakshi said and Abhi got up from his place and hugged her.

"You are the best mom, amma. I love you so much",saying so he kissed on her cheek and she chuckled at his acts.

At Ekantha's Place :

"Ekantha, did you tell him about it?",Kanyaka asked.

"Yes maa, somehow I couldn't hide it from him. He, I know him for just few days but hiding things from him feels so foreign and it makes me feel guilty",she said.

"It's a good thing you said him about it. I will also have a talk with Vishalakshi tomorrow about it. It won't be good if they get to know about it from someone else",Kanyaka said to which Ekantha nodded.

Vennela's mom and Kanyaka went to the kitchen to make dinner while Ekantha got back to Vennela's room and freshened up. Vennela was sitting on the bed, with laptop in her hands and headphones on.

Ekantha freshened up and sat on the bed with her laptop, she needed to do her homework and there is no looking back about it. She promised that she would give her best to it.

For the next two hours, Vennela was practicing her tunes while Ekantha completed her social media and additional office work.

"Care for a break?",Vennela asked and Ekantha nodded closing her laptop.

Both of them went into the balcony, cool air was flowing through the garden area that Vennela's mom made in their little balcony.

"So, I wanted to suggest you something okay?",Vennela started off.

"Yes Vennu, tell me?",Ekantha asked being curious about what Vennela was going to speak about.

"What do you always wanted to Ekantha? Is it just the administration job that you always wanted to do? What was your passion?",Vennela asked.

Vennela quite remember one thing about Ekantha, when they were small and the teacher asked them what they would want to become when they grow up and Ekantha's answer was something that caught her attention. She wanted to become an independent woman no matter what job/business she was going to take up. She was impressed by the thought of Ekantha.

"Why are you asking about it suddenly?",Ekantha asked looking at her confused.

"Ekantha life has given you a chance once again to choose your path and this time I think you should choose the one which you always wanted to and which you loved doing",Vennela said and that made Ekantha fall into thoughts.

"I always wished to be a environmentalist but how would I even become one? I don't even have the degree and nobody aspires to be an environmentalist. Should I say about it to Vennela?",she thought to herself..
