"Open it, open it!" You said excitedly.

You and Tony sat on the couch of his house in Malibu. It was Christmas Eve and the two of you had agreed to each open one present from each other.

Tony sent you a smile before lifted the lid off of the small and delicately wrapped box you had placed in his hands. Inside was a bronze, custom designed watch.

"Harley helped me pick it out," you said happily. You knew Tony would never admit out loud to liking the boy, but you could tell. And Harley looked up to Tony like a father. "I know you already have a lot of watches, but you mentioned wanting one like this before."

Tony studied the watch, and for a moment you were worried he didn't like it. But then he looked up at you with a cheerful smile. "It's great, babe," he said. "Would you help me put it on?"

Smiling, you took the expensive watch from the box. He held out his wrist and you carefully wrapped the band around and latched it. Your fingertips brushed against his skin, sending tingles through you. It seems you got that feeling every time you touched. You liked to think that it was a sign. The two of you were meant for a each other.

Tony admired the watch on his wrist for a moment before looking back at you. "Now open yours," he said. He looked a little nervous. "I hope you like it. It isn't much." He shrugged lightly and ran a hand through his hair.

"I'll love it," you promised. You looked down at the small box in your hands. Tony has a habit of getting extravagant gifts, so this was unusual. Every other year it has been giant boxes, or things so big it couldn't even fit in a box. For your anniversary, he had gotten you your dream car.

You lifted the lid off of the black box to reveal a rather large diamond ring. You stared at it, mouth hanging open.

"Better close your mouth," Tony said. "You're going to catch a fly."

You looked over at him. "Tony... is this..." you were at a loss for words. The billionaire had never expressed an interest in getting married before, so maybe you were wrong. Maybe this was just a meaningless diamond ring.

"You're going to make me spell it out loud? Okay, fine." Tony took a deep breath. He made a big show of standing up, and then getting down on one knee. "Y/N, will you marry me?"

It was a bit of a clumsy proposal, but you didn't care. It was Tony, so you expected nothing less. And for him, this was a grand gesture of emotion. Tears pricked at your eyes.

His eyes widened and he quickly moved back to the couch beside you. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Oh god, you're crying." He wrapped an arm around you.

You released a laugh. "Tony, it's a good cry. Yes, I'll marry you!"

Here's a wholesome little Tony one-shot for you. I know it's not quite Christmas yet, but it's close enough.
