The fight has already started and in a nick of time it has almost come to its end. Y/N watch the fight from the side and saw that one of them has been defeated. All the audiences cried out as the guy in blue attire announced the winner and it's finally time for the final match, his match. He stepped in the arena wearing a light blue jacket with the hood over his head so everyone can't clearly see his face.

"Here are our final fighters! To my left, Kalbi the butcher and to my right, Y/N the traveling merchant." Wave stated.

"I'm surprised he picked that kind of job. Well the traveling is a fact but the merchant is a no." Leone stated.

"I see one of them is young." Run said as he is standing beside Esdeath.

"Wait.... That name..." Esdeath suddenly muttered.

"Is there something wrong, captain?" Run asked but she didn't responded.

Y/N just stand there and look at his opponent. He had an arrogant grin plastered on his face making him sigh.

"Looks like the prize money is as good as mine little fella, I may have been excommunicated but I'm still a ninth-level master at Koukenji." Kalbi stated with his hands on his sides.

"Can you stop talking please? Your breath is so stinky that it's making me yawn." Y/N stated.

"Why you...." He got irritated.

The match then has began. Kalbi raised his fist with a grin.

"Taste the full force of my explosive fist!!" He said.

Y/N then dodge the attack by leaping up and he punch the floor instead causing a small crater to form. Kalbi was surprised by this that he didn't notice that he got kicked by the back. Y/N landed safely on the floor, his opponent then slowly stand up and began to relentlessly punch him. All the blows were easily dodged by him, he was so bored in this fight that he wanted it to end quickly. So he kick him by the leg causing him to lose his balance. He punch his opponent on the stomach downwards which made him fall on the floor.

"Sleep tight." Y/N stated.

He then proceeds to lunch him on the face, knocking him out. He steps back and just stand there. Murmurs coming from the audiences began to occur but he just ignore it.

"He's rather skillful than I expected." Run said.

"He is..." Esdeath said.

"There you have it, Y/N wins!" Wave said.

The crowd then began to cheer for him, he looks around and saw that.

"Hmm, people are cheering for me... Hahaha!! I love this!!" His personality suddenly changes.

The hood of his jacket then fell, revealing his face. A genuine smile plastered on his face as he enjoys the cheering around him. Esdeath suddenly stood up from her seat.

"It's him.... The one I've been looking for..." She said.

"He's our Teigu candidate?" Run asked.

"Yes, but that's not all..." She then began to walk down the steps.

She then enters the arena and is approaching him. Y/N noticed this and gave her a nervous smile.

"Uh.... H-hey, Esdeath... Long time no see." He said.

"Yes, it's been three years and we have meet again..... My love." She said the last part when she stood in front of him.

"Wait..... what?" He was confused.

A collar was then put around his neck. He was shock and surprised when he sees this and was then pulled by Esdeath.

"How about we enjoy our little reunion alone somewhere a little more private." She said.

"Err..... Okay? (Can someone please tell me what's going on?!)" Y/N just followed her.

They soon disappeared in the area. Leone and Lubbock who were there watching the whole event were surprised by this. The both of them looked at each other with the same expressions then back at the empty arena.

"What in the world just happened?!"

The two of them got back in their base and reported what happened. Everyone but Mine were surprised by this.

"Wait, so Esdeath took Y/N away with her?" Akame said.

"The last thing we saw is that the both of them entered the palace." Leone said.

"Please don't tell me that we will save him. That won't work." Mine crossed her arms.

"The first thing we should do is move our base out of town so that we won't be easily spotted." Akame said.

"Good thinking. But what about Y/N?" Sheele asked.

"For now we will keep an eye on him and wait for the perfect time to save him. After all, he is still a member of Night Raid. We'll do whatever it takes." Akame stated.

It soon turned dusk after a few hours, Y/N and Esdeath were both sitting on a cliff as they watch the Jaegers do their job.

"So why am I here again?" Y/N asked.

"You're part of the Jaegers backup member, I'd prefer you watch and you might learn a thing or two." She said.

Y/N looks at the Jaegers and saw one of them is Seryu. His eyes then widen and his face darkened, but it soon faded when he calmed himself down.

"Well I don't need to watch and learn, since I've learned a lot while I was traveling." He said.

"I see you still have that side of yours." She said placing her hand over his.

A noise then occurred, the Jaegers were then surrounded by bandits with weapons pointed at them.

"You guys got some nerve to attack us head on!" One of them said.

"Koro, number five." Seryu said.

Koro suddenly became large and looked more violent, he then bit Seryu's arm and soon he pulled out revealing a large green weapon. Seryu had a malicious grin on her face.

"Judgement of the Ten Kings, Enma's Spear of Justice!" She yelled.

She smashed the weapon on their enemies, she then pulled up and called for Koro again.

"Number seven!...... Taizan's Canon of Justice." Koro bit her arm again and the spear turned into a canon.

She then fires at the gate causing it to explode.

"How do you like the weapons I created? My Teigu, The hands of God, Perfecto, they increase my speed and precision several hundred times over. This is truly the most stylish Teigu of all!" Dr. Stylish said as he mentions about the glove Teigu he is wearing.

Kurome killed some of the enemies with her Yatsufusa, she was about to be attacked by someone from behind but Wave was there just in time to save her. Bols then uses his Teigu to burn the enemies alive.

"Flamethrower Teigu, Purgatorical Invitation, Rubicante. This thing can burn almost anything to the ground. This is only part of my job." Bols said.

Run was flying above the enemies with his Teigu, some feathers were then went straight out of their heads as one of them looked at him.

"An.......angel." One of the bandits said before he falls on the ground dead.

"My Winged type Teigu, the Thousand-Mile Flight, Mastema. I won't let any of you escape." He said.

Vlad was standing in front of five bandits. He then dash towards them and slashed them with his scythe. Nothing had happened to them but they suddenly began attacking their own allies.

"Scythe type Teigu, Puppeteer's Soul Gatherer, Zytten. Have fun being betrayed by your own allies." He said.

Once all of them were dead, the blue blade of the scythe then glowed with the same color and the five people who were hit by his Teigu fell on the ground dead. All seven of them walked out of the burning area and back to where their captain is. Y/N couldn't help but feel nervous, he discreetly placed his right hand on his side to feel his mask is there hidden behind his shirt and jacket.

"(Good thing I have my bag along with me before this happened.)" He thought.

After the Jaegers' first mission was complete, they got back to the palace. When Y/N looks at it he was rather sad. Esdeath noticed this and looks at him worriedly.

"Is there something the matter, Y/N?" She asked him.

"No, I'm fine. I.... just feel tired." He lied.

"Then we'll go to my room to rest." She said.

The two of them made their to Esdeath's room while Vlad intently stares at Y/N as they left.

"(His name and his appearance is practically the same as him... Could it be? No it can't be, I'll just go and find it out later)" Vlad thought.
