Max P.O.V.

I didn't dress up or anything, I didn't want to make it obvious what I was doing, but I did get clean to at least be presentable. I was gonna look in the mirror but as always, Duke broke it, either by his tail or his looks. Either way, I looked good enough, at least I hoped. I thanked Duke for the tips and said bye to him. Now I was off.

I jumped out of the window to Gidget's windowsill. Luckily, she was there.

"Hey Gidget!" I called. She was sitting on the couch, very cute, not to mention.

I just want to add in here, I have liked Gidget for a while now. The bridge incident just made me even more impressed. I also didn't say anything until she revealed her crush on me that same night. So we have a crush on eachother. Perfect, that makes it more awkward, but its easier.

"Hey Max!! What are you doing here!?" she said excited, wagging her tail ferociously. She does that every time she sees me, never does it to anybody else.

 "Play it cool!" she whispered, "hehe..."

It may be weird to you or not that I am saying this, but Gidget is sure looking beautiful, I mean when does she not look cute!? Just look at her. You have admit! Sorry, she is irresistible.

I saw her watching her ordinary Telenovela, I knew how much she loved those. She watches them all the time. She loves them more than anything else in the world.

I asked her what she was doing today, if she had any plans to go out anywhere with anybody.

"Nothing much..." she said, "How bout you?"

"Not much either, just wondering if you wanted to go somewhere?" I asked.

"SURE! I mean, sure." she said. I could clearly tell she wanted to!

I knew what I was gonna do at this point. I was going to try ask her out one of these moments.

"Can I talk to you a second?" I asked. I clearly sounded nervous, which made me sound stupid.

"Sure, what is it?" she asked. She kind of giggled a bit because of the way I said it.

"Well, I just want to thank you for when you saved me from all those animals on the bridge last month. It was really brave of you. Also, the most dangerous thing you could have done!" I said, "You really that much about me?"

Gidget P.O.V.

FINALLY!! HE NOTICED ME!! YEEEESSSS!!!! It feels like I have been trying for an eternity!!

"You're welcome Max." I said, "Of course I care a lot about you."

He has no idea how much. At all.

"How much?" He asked, with a half smirk. kinda cute looking, I can't lie. Sorry, I'm obsessed with him, I can't help it!

"Quite a bit," I said, "A lot more than anybody else."

I whispered that second part, but he heard me.

"I always feel like you like me." said Max, "Ever since the start."

"Hmm?" I asked.

"You always wanted to hang out and be my friend. You were my first true friend. You were energetic from the start." He said, "You were always my favorite friend since then. There has been nobody better."

I almost blushed, I tried to hold it in though. Kinda hard to do.

"You were always the best, and what you did on the bridge was extremely amazing and definitely impressed me. I then knew that I truly liked you." He added.

At this point, I was blushing, I couldn't hold it in anymore. It was inpossible to hold it in at this point
