Shock. That, and pure happiness, were the only thing running through Ross' mind, as he stared down at the red head knelt down in front of him, a beautiful silver ring with a pinkish orange gem sat on the top. It wasn't that huge, as Max had come to know Ross didn't think of bigger as better, rather it was a size that fit perfectly with just enough attention drawn to the gem. Tears of joy leaked out of the brunets ocean green eyes, sliding down his cheeks and off of them as what was going on fully registered.

"Ross, will you make me the happiest man in the world, and marry me?" Max asked, fear and hope shining bright in his eyes. Ross simply nodded after recovering from his shock, not trusting his voice.

A huge grin spread across Max's face, his eyes lighting up and a few tears of pure joy leaking out as he stood, wrapping his arms around Ross' abdomen and spinning him around in circles, laughs leaving both their mouths at how happy they were. Ross knew, then and there, without a doubt, they were meant to be.
