Tae was out of words.

"Jimin, I'm sorry." nothing but an apology was the only thing Tae could think of. "I just didn't want to lose you. I can't."

Jimin gazed back at his best friend as his tears slowly became lighter and smaller.

"You're right, I completely don't understand having that connection with someone." Tae locked eye contact with Jimin hoping that he'll understand where Taehyung is coming from.

"I don't understand the feeling of being ready to risk it all and sacrifice everything for someone-with someone.", he added.

The sincerity of a friend, a brother, and a family came through to Jimin.

"The only thing I know is that flame would never want to see you suffering like this just as how i feel about witnessing you hurting."

"Who would want to see someone they love having a boo-hoo?" she asked his Dad in the middle of the story.

"No one would, honey."

Weeks passed and Taehyung found Jimin staring out through the glass window just across the shelf they were in.

"Still miss him, don't you?" Tae asked.

"Oh, hey. I thought you were already sleeping." Jimin let out a nervous giggle.

Silence once more wrapped their atmosphere for a couple of seconds as Taehyung joined Jimin in staring out the window.

"I hope he can see me from up there."

Without him noticing, a tear went rolling down Jimin's cheek.

"I hope he knows I still think about him."

Tae sighed at the sight of Jimin, crying again.

"I hope he knows how ready I am to be in that pain again just to melt with him once more."
