"See sweetheart, we might think that fire and candles aren't for each other but they actually live for one another." Dad was so into telling this dramatic story as he catches himself and started giggling.

"Why am I telling all this to a five-year old."

Silence between them filled the front seats as the engine and the rocks friction with the wheels were just heard.

"But Papa, why would they live for each other if fire wasn't meant to stay?"

This smart young lady's dad was astonished by this question from his own daughter. And he decided to talk to her like she's all grown.

"That fire was sent to that candle for him to learn a lesson just as people do in our lives. And candle taught fire that you must give way and sometimes sacrifice yourself for the people you love."

"Does that mean, as long as the person you love is happy you should be happy too? But how would that person be happy if you're not together?"

"Even without you, that person you love will find his or her own happiness and you're just gonna have to be contented with watching them from afar."

Silence filled the car as her dad was parking it on a front yard of a house.

"Why are we here anyway, Papa? Is it uncle's birthday party?"

"Ehh, you'll see." He stopped the engine and pulled out the car key. "Stay there, princess. I'm gonna open the door for you." , he told his daughter as he ran to the other side of the car to take her from there.

"Want Papa to carry you or not?", with his hands out he asked but his little girl proudly answered, "No, thank you Papa. I can handle myself already."

He chuckled, "Okay, young lady."

"Too bad momma can't come with us." She said as she held her father's pinky. "You know mom's busy, sweetheart."

They both walked to the front door and as soon as they got there, he pressed the doorbell.

He looked at his little princess and saw her smiling. They both heard the door creak open as a man in a white button-up shirt with black slacks welcomed them to his home.

"Oh Jeongguk-ah! I thought you'd never come~!" the man went in to hug Jeongguk and his little girl.

"Congratulations on you and your wife's sixth anniversary, Jimin-ssi."
