Male, but gender punk. This means that he constantly goes against gender norms. With short hair, he can look masculine, especially if you take a look at his toned body. However, he feels more femme somedays and will wear skirts and such. He considers himself male.

Arlyn is a huge àss flirt. If he finds you attractive, he won't hesitate to flirt with you. Men included, he's very gay and loves a masculine man. If he knows your more into girls, he'll give his long hair (and trust me when I say he's beautiful enough to turn the straightest guy gay). If you're more into masculine appearances, he'll cut his hair wear it short.
Despite his flirty personality, he loves Serenity and Jasper like he would younger siblings. He's very protective of them and will not hesitate to follow them to the edge of the earth. If someone threatens one of the two, he'll cut them :)

Arlyn can speak several languages and can fly, so those are his clear strengths. He's pretty strong too and can be cunning-- he knows how to use his beauty.

He may be well toned but that doesn't mean he knows how to actually fight, he just likes to exercise to stay fit and have a nice body.
His older brother instincts kick in with Serenity and Jasper, and this unknown fighting skill will pop out, but any other time is a no no.
