yuda typically has blotches of blood at least somewhere on him, clothes begrimed permanently, as a result of consistent enmity. he does have a rough appearance, after all, a smooth face would be strange.

his brown eyes, to begin, are already uncommon. the left one is double lidded, though still almond shaped, maintaining the obvious asian ethnicity he has; while the right one is mono-lidded. shortly above them are his flat and thick brows. his nose is long and thin, but sharp and characteristically masculine. his philtrum is prominent, though hidden by his beard, and his cupid's bow is quite strong. there isn't much attention on his lips- a mustache and short boxed beard, which he keeps neatly trimmed, markes his attractiveness and accentuates his war-like appeal.

yet, all of his facial features and consistent and sharp, creating clear and defining lines. yuda does have a scar at the side of his left cheek, passing his cheekbone.

another very prominent feature he boasts is his long locks of black hair, reaching his waist in length. like a warrior from the ming dynasty, he will slip on a headband and tie up the front half of his hair up, letting the rest hang free. he does have a variety of hairstyles though- a full bun, which is difficult to tie considering the length and sheer weight if his hair; all hair down, something he'll only decide to wear if he knows that he will not be fighting, since long hair often interferes with the precision of his moves; a high tie, it looks quite glorious but it does hurt incredibly after it comes down; a braid, which he prefers to use when alone.

overall, the preparation of his hair takes up the majority of his time; washing the blood and grime out is difficult, so is maintaining the straight and silky design. it is also the most expensive part of him. he begins with almond oil, then transitions directly to soap, next to shikakai. brushing it takes an hour despite how efficient he's become.

but yuda's hair isn't simply for show. it is in representation of his culture and an imitation of status, respect for his elders and a way of following confucius' teachings.

yuda is built well, as expected for someone in constant war, he could not avoid it even if he wished to. his body is scarred: a knife wound travels across his right forearm as well as the left side of his upper chest, two stab wounds are across his lower back. his forearm has been tattooed with a winding dragon as a way of, not hiding the wound, but showing that it has become a part of him. The same goes for his chest, a winding dragon tattoo sweeps across his torso and even peaks up the collar of his shirt, a head showcased on the right side of his neck.

as for his clothes, well he sticks with whatever he can find. he does have two hanfus and a suit, but since he is relatively poor, his clothes are ragged and reflect browns. simple shirts, jackets, and pants are all he can afford. but when he dresses up, he looks rather attractive.

in cold weather, he must wear layers that he can fight with, and his performance therefore decreases.

he has three states: human, mid-dragon, and dragon.

his mid-dragon consists of a human form, but red dragon wings erupting from his back and scales reaching the sides of his face. he can control whether his hands grow talons or not, but his feet typically do. his eyes glow yellow and his ears become pointed too.

now his full dragon form will have a picture attached, because I don't know how to explain that lmao-

𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 ── since he is a dragon, he mirrors abilities dragons have.
▪︎as a chinese dragon, he is able to breath fire.
▪︎ he can wield ice but not in his full dragon form, thanks to his mother.
▪︎scale manifestation, obviously he can grow scales, which can then be used as armor. therefore, he wears no other armor in combat.
▪︎enhanced conditions- speed, durability, endurance, stamina, strength, vision.
▪︎ flight.
▪︎ enchanced roar in dragon form.
▪︎ fear masking in dragon form, you can't read a dragons emotions lmao
▪︎prehensile tail and tongue which can be used as extra limbs.
▪︎ heat resistance.

Here are a few weaknesses I felt like I should include:
▪︎ he can not hear in his dragon form, only muffled sounds and vibrations.
▪︎ he can not speak in his dragon form either.
▪︎ his dragon form is extremely large, hence he can only shift in open lands, otherwise he may destroy property and hurt innocent bystanders.

𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴 ── his claws and teeth, a sword he typically carrys (heavy in weight, a reddish hilt with a yellow gem in the center, worn at the waist), tail and tongue. prefers close combat, does have scales he can shoot out from his body for long range attacks (while they regenerate, they are painful).

𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 ── yuda is actually quite caring. he seems pretty intimidating, especially when his eyes shift to yellow (which happen when he experiences high levels of emotion). but he is ardent and selfless, someone who will not hesitate to lay down his life for a complete stranger.

he has very strong opinions and will fight tirelessly for an idea he believes in, such as the value of human life. and so, he is decisive and strong-willed, but will rarely use that energy for personal gain. he believes in karma and does not act in revenge.

he finds it easy to make connections with others, with a talent for warm, sensitive language, speaking in human terms, rather than with pure logic and fact. he is more emotional than he seems.

yuda seems extroverted, but he actually values time alone to wire his thoughts. since he pours much of his care into others, he recognizes that it is important to think about himself.

if his zeal gets out of hand, he becomes exhausted, unhealthy, and stressed.

this becomes especially apparent when he is faced with criticism. his sensitivity forces him do everything he can to evade seemingly personal attacks. When the circumstances are unavoidable, however, he can fight back in highly irrational, unhelpful ways.

he will right the wrongs in the world, he will make it a better place for everyone.

since yuda is so focused on others, he makes an excellent counselor. seeing through dishonesty and disingenuous motives, he steps past manipulation and sales tactics and into a more honest discussion.

but, he is very private and will rarely if ever open up about his life. he is sensitive too- never question his motives. yuda also relies on goals, without them, he would feel no more purpose to live.

𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 ── yuda grew up poor and still is, but with a caring set of parents. though they had nothing, they still taught yuda to place others over himself. he was born during war and hence named after it, as if destined to become a warrior.

there was a time when he doubted the cause of the war- where he did not understand why they needed to continue to fight. it was his mother then, who helped him remeber. "this world is plagued by war. all we can do is fight on for the sake of family, love, and the lives of innocents. you will make the world a better place one day. fight on."

his mother and father were both warriors and dragons, but his father chose the path of words. he would preach to his people and even the men on the other side, relentlessly attempting to reach a consensus of agreement. a reason to stop such an unnecessary war. at this point, no one even knew why they were fighting.

that was when li jie (his father) met zhang's xiu ying (his mother). zhang xiu ying was from the other side, a purple scaled ice dragons, and was someone who was willing to listen to li jie, a bronze scaled fire dragon. eventually, the two spent time together and fell madly in love.

unfortunately, their families were unaccepting. they were practically banished, and sent yuda away on his own at age twelve, to choose a side and fight.

he is thankful for the time he was able to spend with his parents, and struggled to find where he belonged in alkia. he chose neither.

as the son of both sides, he fights anyone who he knows has done wrong, and works tirelessly to find a method of peace. he founded an association of others who think like him as well. today, they all work towards finding a solution.

he barely has time to think about malra, but his people come first. his goal is to achieve peace here, and then help the universe fight against malra however he can.
