Welcome to The Imperials, angels.

The silver tabby felt his fur brush against a familiar pelt. "Don't worry," his mentor had reassured him only minuted earlier, "twolegs can't harm us. They are far too clumsy to get near catching us."

Clumsy. Kinda like me.

The two toms felt themselves near the edge of their territory- the squawking of the sleepy birds had begun to fade and he could see moonlight striking the ground in the field before them. Beyond the breakage of the trees and in the sheltering flowers they saw the pelts of makeshift twoleg dens flowing in the wind- exactly what they were looking for.

"They're asleep," he commented to his mentor, sinking into a crouch and getting ready to pounce into the clearing. "This should be easy."

The tabby sprung into the clearing, but midair felt a tight tug and was hit the ground, getting pulled back into the forest. "Hey!" He exclaimed, looking back and seeing his Clanmate with his tail in his mouth. The young tom flattened his ears as he let go.

"Sleeping twolegs doesn't mean danger is absent. You should always be cautious. You're young- you don't want to do something you'll regret. Wait for my signal. Then you can come."

The silver tabby watched as his mentor slunk away from the forest, his thick ginger glinting gray in the moonlight. He approached the twoleg camp with ease; carefully padding around the makeshift dens to be noiseless. He sniffed around a few twoleg objects before leaping on a tall, shiny rock structure. He flicked his tail- finally, he was done waiting!

The large tom bounded over to where his mentor was, and looked up at him. "Do you see anything?"

"No, but can you check around the backside?"

The silver-and-black tom curtly nodded before clumsily scurrying to the backside of the twoleg pelts. It smelled. Bad. There were shiny metal contraptions filled that had weird symbols on the outside. They were all empty and there were no filled ones in sight. The tom turned toward the den. There was a stack of traps! These were empty- but a little ways away, he could see twoleg tendril traps with rabbits, foxes, and even a large one with a coyote. They all looked sickly- they reeked of illness. They looked like they were ready to be taken away from the forest- they were getting rid of the poisoned.

The tom leaped onto the top of the shiny metal trap tower. He looked out across the flower field- it was growing cold. "Bouncewhisker? I think I found what we needed to know. We should head back."

The silver tom gulped, feeling a cold breeze shiver through his fur. He moved backwards, ready to leap off- but his foot slipped! He felt himself fall quickly, sharp noises filling the air and then the sleeping- well, now awake- twolegs screeching nonsense.

I have to get out of here! Pumasnarl was frozen in fear. Bouncewhisker dashed around the corner. "I'll distract them. Run to camp!" He said before dashing away. Pumasnarl felt his legs spring below him, and howling from Bouncewhisker. He dashed into the forest, not looking.

And straight into a hard, shiny rock trap, trapping him and knocking him out cold.

Bouncewhisker and Pumasnarl have been captured by twolegs! To rescue them, you must put together a patrol of 4-6 cats who are willing to risk their lives. Use a chain command /go on rescue patrol.
