Jay/Jayden (GamingWithJay)

The white light faded as our feet landed on something.

I let my eyes get used to the atmosphere as I looked around.

It was a city, and we landed on a helipad (good thing there wasn't a helicopter). I then noticed that the sun was already setting.

... wait, did we just teleport for about four hours straight?!

I mentally face-palmed as I realized about timezones... (I don't think there are timezones on Minecraft but meh)

I looked around the city skyline. Tall buildings made of glass, stone, diorite, quartz, clay, and other materials. There were also screens that showed advertisements.

I walked over the edge and saw a huge amount of people and vehicles walk on the road.

I then noticed that this doesn't look like Perlough anymore... Is this a different city?

"Where are we...?" Athaliah asked...

I'm asking the same question too.

"We better find out..." Lion said.

"Welcome to Heijokyo," Ray blurted out.

Wait, what...? Heijokyo? The legislative capital of East Minecraftia and the second largest city in Minecraftia?

"How did you know this is Heijokyo?" Storm clarified.

Ray pointed to a giant screen that was displayed on a facade of a building. It said, Welcome to Heijokyo.

"Oh."

"But what are we supposed to do in the rooftop? I heard it's a good idea to come down," Lion suggested.

"Yeah, we should. And find a place to rest, and a hospital, for Nev's sake," Ray added.

"It's a bad idea to use hospitals at the moment. The nation is already after us," Storm pointed out.

"Good point."

"So what do we do then?" Persephone asked.

"I think we should try contacting Sir Blaise," Athaliah suggested.

I stopped in deep thought. I knew that he gave us a safe sanctuary, but for some reason, I still don't trust him... and anyone else in this team.

"I admit that that suggestion hit me, but how are we supposed to contact him?" Ray countered.

"Wait..." Storm said, "you have the power of radiation, right?"

"Yes."

"You can send radiowaves, right? Can you communicate using radiowaves?"

"I can try, but I don't remember the Morse Code."

"Gg."

"How about using payphones and telephone?" Athaliah suggested.

"They'd probably ban us from using those. I mean, the police are literally stationed nationwide!" Persephone pointed out.

"You can try teleporting to a pretty secluded place and make a call," Lion told Ray.

"First of all, I don't have a cellphone. And secondly, how are you supposed to receive a signal from a mountain?"

"Can't you just... teleport from here to Sir Blaise?" Persephone asked.

"No. I can't teleport miles away. And teleporting from here takes me about five seconds. And I can't teleport more than a second or else my body will get trapped into space."

"So, we're dead then?" Lion said.

"If we don't do something soon, then yes," Ray answered.

Pres. Roger L. Stevenson (hah)

Crap. They just destroyed my plan!

I sighed and groaned as I looked at the paper of Operation Lightning and turned to my computer screen.

The statistics have shown that they had currently 2993 Projects.

Ugh! They just broke into North Minecraftia's prison! I could've started the operation right now!

I looked into the prison feed. They had used the emergency exit. They had no idea of where they are right now...

Pathetic.

I looked again in the statistics.

Argh! Screw the statistics! It's time to end these suckers and commence my master plan!

I then grabbed my ballpen and read Operation Lightning. I have talked about the Regional Directors and high government officials about this. And it's about time I do this...

I signed the paper.

Persephone

I watched the screens as they turned to one person.

A person that everyone is familiar with...

The President.

And he was about to give a speech.

"Fellow Minecraftians,"

Such a cliché opening line for a speech of a president.

"For these past few days, our nation has encountered very serious "bugs" that threaten the unity of the nation."

I really hope he wasn't talking about us.

"From a mass shooting in Bergenheim, to the most recent attacks in Perlough's airport, to the complete destruction of West Minecraftia's third largest city, we all know that the masterminds behind them are works of science... A work of... ignorance... The ones we call Projects."

I think I know where this is headed...!

"They threaten the nation. If they could destroy a city, they could destroy the nation. They threaten every individual's privacy and security."

I then recalled about Operation Lightning that Sir Blaise showed us... Could this be...?

"As long as this concerns your security, the government will never stop. I will never stop. And I will take any, and all measures to wipe out these products of science."

We knew that... wait... taking all measures...

I then gasped...

"In order to take down the Projects, with the name of the Republic of Minecraftia, I therefore suspend the Dennerheim Constitution, and declare a State of Emergency."

He's commencing Operation Lightning?!

"This measure must be followed. We need your cooperation. We must need to take down the Projects, that threaten the nation. Please report any Projects you find. And we will be tightening security nationwide. We believe that your safety is not in jeopardy, for the sake of the nation."

Yep, he officially did it.

All the others were having their jaws dropped as well.

"Guys, we need to be more careful from this point on," I reminded them, "and the sun is setting too..."

"We probably need to come down. Shall we go?" Ray said.

"What about Nev? What do we do about her?" Lion asked, concerned.

"We can take a look after we found a place to stay."

Everyone then nodded.

"C'mon let's go," Athaliah said. I was pretty surprised that she wasn't glaring, though I realized that there was no reason for her to glare.

We went inside the building and walked downstairs.

Walking down, we then saw that this was already a hotel.

"Nice, we already found a place to stay," Lion commented.

I then prayed that they will let us sleep in here. I don't want them to experience the discrimination I experienced...

Which was why I joined in the first place...

Okay, so update: I feel a bit better now. My ear no longer hurts, so I can update now.

Sigh this part is boring af. Should've added a more interesting dialogue.

Anyways

Too lazy to ask questions atm.

Thanks for reading! And please don't forget to vote, comment, and follow! All of those will be greatly appreciated!
