This is a follow up of The_Story_Nerds first chapter in his book; Chapter by Chapter. Read his before mine so you'll get what's going on.
This is one I unpublished, but I decided to put it out there again, just because I liked it. Enjoy! Also, feel free to do a continuation of this.

Xavier felt like every muscle in his body was tensed in terror as that door knob turned. The electricity in his hands sparked and flashed wildly. He trembled slightly, a cold sweat beading on his forehead. He had not wanted to fight anyone, but if he had to, he would certainly try.

  He glanced at Jacob, and he to was rigid. But he was trembling. Yes, Xavier would fight if he needed to.  Jacob didn't have any powers, but he did know some martial arts. Yet, who knew what power this figure behind the door had. Maybe even his powers wouldn't stand up to what was coming.

  Now the door swung open slowly, revealing the person. He was dressed all in black, a cape fell behind his shoulders, and a hood was on his face, disguising it with the shadow it cast. The only thing Xavier could see was the smile. A wide, toothy, maniacal grin. A smile that held true terror and violence. A smile that feels no remorse. A smile that would keep smiling after anything that's done. A smile that feels no regret.

  The figure stepped two large steps silently into the room, somehow closing the door behind him without touching it, or even so much as a glace. Xavier suddenly felt a shiver rack his body, and had to blink for his eyes to readjust to the dim lighting that was in the room.

"Just come with me," the figure said.  His voice sounded like a wave, ebbing in and out, sometimes loud, other times soft.

"No." Xavier stammered. The figure's smile dissapeared and turned into a deep scowl.

"Fine then." He quickly knelt, slamming his hand on the ground, and dark energy rippled across the floor,  crashing into Xavier. He flipped sideways, crashing painfully to the floor on his back. The wind was knocked completely out of him, and he began gasping for air that didn't seem to come. He felt his left hand erupt with pain, along with his head which had smacked against the floor. He saw Jacob run up and punch the figure in the chest, but it didn't even move him. Jacob seemed startled and brought his other fist around for a blow to the head, but somehow, without Xavier even seeing it, the figures hand was instantly up by his head, grasping Jacob's fist tightly in his. The smile reappearing, the figure brought his other fist up and slammed Jacob in the chest with his energy. It sparked, then disappeared as the figure dropped Jacob to the floor. He was clearly unconscious, his eyes closed and head lulled to the side.

  Xavier struggled to get up, but now his head was suddenly feeling woozy, and still gasping for air. Maybe it was the hit to the head,  but it didn't feel right. He kept blinking, hoping it would go away, but the more he did, the stranger it got. The room looked to be moving. The figure was barely noticable now, blending in with the swirling mass of black. 

  Xavier managed to stand, but crashed into the wall. He knew it was steadying him, but the room still spun. Bringing his hands up, he aimed them at the figure. But he stopped, lowering his hands, as he lost his thought. No stop! The figure was the bad guy! Now even his thoughts seemed to be jumbled; he couldn't think straight. 

"You have a choice." The figure said steadily.
