Professor Wathen closes up the classroom, for the night.
Then, when nobody else is looking, he rushes off in a burst of red lightning.

(ZOOOOM!)

Now in his yellow costume with red lightning lining, Eobard Thawne looks around at his makeshift lair, formerly Theo Barbot's workshop.

Thawne: Well, it's not S.T.A.R. Labs, but it'll have to do, for now.

He activates a device.
A monitor lights up the workspace before him.

Thawne: It just doesn't make any sense. He looks like him, he talks like him, but it wasn't Barry Allen, at least not the one I know!

He presses a button, a holographic display appears. Showing a map of Paris.

Thawne: I could have sworn that he ended up here, I was certain of it!

He thinks for a moment.

Thawne: Perhaps the scanner and ended up tracking a random Barry Allen in the Multiverse, and miscalculated.

Thawne: He said that he was a transfer student from America. Which does sound logical.

Thawne: However, I can't know for sure. Looks like I'll need to do some digging.

He turns around, facing the dark void in the warehouse.

Thawne: But rest assured, you will get what you're after.
And in return, you'll help me achieve my goal.

A purple Moth Halo can be seen in the darkness of Thawne's lair.

Meanwhile, Adrien and Marinette head back to Adrien's house, while Nathalie calls Gabriel.

Nathalie: Mmm-hmm. Really?
Of course. Yes, sir, I'll let him know.
Thank you, sir. I'll see you in a bit, bye.

Nathalie hangs up her phone.
And looks at Adrien through the rear-view mirror.

Nathalie: Well, good news, Adrien. It seems your father is more than willing to allow Marinette to accompany you, tonight.

Adrien: Wait, you're serious?!

Nathalie: Yes, it seems he's looking forward to having her over.

She looks towards Marinette.

Nathalie: By the way, Marinette, Mr. Agreste wanted me to inform you that you're more than welcome to stay the night, if it's okay with you.

Marinette looks up in surprise.

Marinette: U-Uh, sure, sure. That sounds reasonable. I'll be sure to give Mr. Agreste my utmost gratitude for his generosity.

Marinette starts to turn bright red.

Adrien looks at Marinette.

Adrien: Are you okay, Marinette?

Marinette: Oh! U-Uh, fine, just fine. No problem at all.

Marinette clears her throat, awkwardly.

Marinette: (Ahem)
