As Alya and Nino walk off, Adrien turns to Marinette.

Adrien: I don't like it anymore than you do, Marinette.

She quickly snaps out of it.

Marinette: Huh-wha?! W-what were you saying?

Adrien: The fact that Barry is working together with Lila. I don't like it one bit.

Marinette looks to the entrance.

Marinette: Look, there they are now.

They see Barry and Lila walking out of the school, the both of them talking and laughing, as if they were old friends.

Marinette looks at Adrien, shocked.

Marinette: Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?

Adrien: You're not going crazy, I see them, too.

Marinette: Why in the world would Barry want to be friends with Lila, of all people?!

Chloe walks over.

Chloe: That's the same thing I'm wondering. That, Lily Rose, or whoever she is, is nothing but trouble.

Marinette rolls her eyes.

Marinette: Tell me about it.

Chloe catches herself before she says her next words.

Chloe: Believe me, Dupa-, Marinette.
Sorry, I'm still not used to saying your first name, without trying to insult you.

Marinette: It's fine, keep going.

Chloe: My point is, Barrikins doesn't know who he's dealing with. She's probably spinning him a web of lies as we speak.

Both surprised by Chloe's nickname for Barry, Adrien begins to speak.

Adrien: Trust me, Chloe. Barry is smarter than he looks.
Knowing him, he'll probably see right through her lies before he believes anything she says.

Marinette: And also, "Barrikins?!"

Chloe: Don't ask.

Adrien cocks his eyebrows, teasingly.

Adrien: Should I be jealous right now, Chloe?

Chloe: (Chuckles) No, Adrien, you don't.

Just then, Adrien and Chloe's limos roll up.

Chloe opens the door and lets Sabrina in.

Chloe: Well, this is me. Good night, you two.

Adrien: Night, Chloe.

As Chloe's limo drives off, Marinette turns to Adrien, still confused by Chloe's pet name for Barry.

Marinette: "Barrikins?"

Adrien just shrugs, and they walk to the passenger side door.

Nathalie rolls her window down.

Adrien: Nathalie, Marinette's going to
be working with me on my Quantum Physics presentation. I hope that's alright with you and Father.

Nathalie thinks for second.

Nathalie: I'll have to call him and ask.
I can't guarantee anything, though.

Adrien: Okay, that'll work.

Adrien opens the car door.

Adrien: After you.

She steps in the back and he follows.
She blushes in the process.

Lila and Barry watch them ride off.

Barry: So, where are we going to work on this, my place or yours?

Lila: Let's go to your place. I'll call my mother and tell her I'm staying at a friend's tonight.

Barry: Works for me.

They head to the bus stop. He pulls out his phone and texts Gideon, while Lila isn't looking.

Barry: "Gideon, initiate the Clean House Protocol. We're having a guest over."

Gideon: "OK, BARRY ALLEN."
