As my miraculous beeps, I de transform behind my house and walk to the park. There, I see Alya sitting on the bench under the tree.

"Where have you been? I've been waiting for an hour. You wouldn't answer your phone either!" She exclaims, standing up and walking towards me.

"I- Uh-" Alya cuts me off by slapping me across the face, making everybody look our way.

"What? Was you busy helping at the bakery again, or did you sleep in? You have a habit of doing this, especially when somebody has been akumatised." She shouts at me. I hold my cheek.

"M-My parents didn't want me t-to leave while there was an akumatised person out t-there." I lie, stuttering. She glares at me.

"I called your parents. They said you already left the house before the attack. You probably just hid like the weakling you are! Every time trouble comes, you always hide. You only come out as soon as it's gone. I don't even know why I'm friends with a clumsy weakling like you." She shouts at me.

"Alya, I-" she slaps me one more time.

"Save it!" She says before running away. I look at everybody around me who give me looks of pity before running away, back to my house. As soon as I reach the alleyway, I transform into Ladybug before Tikki can say anything and swing my way out of it, just running around on rooftops before landing on top of the hotel that the mayor owns. About five minutes later, I feel somebody sit next to me.

"Go away Chat." I mumble, not looking.

"I'm not Char Noir." I look around to see Chloe sitting next to me.

"Chloe? What are you doing here? Oh, do you want a picture or an autograph." I ask her, looking back at the now dark sky. She sighs.

"Marionette, I saw everything. From Alya slapping you to you transforming and running everywhere." She says hugging me. I just sit there, shocked.

"Well now you know that your hero and idol is the girl you despise so much. If you are here to insult me then go ahead. I can take it." I say, looking down at the people below before transforming. Tikki flies in front of Chloe.

"Hello Chloe, in Tikki." Tikki greets her while Chloe jumps behind me.

"W-what is that thing!" She squeals, hiding. I just sigh, moving out of the way.

"Chloe, this is Tikki. She is my kwami, the one who helps me become Ladybug." I explain. Chloe slowly walks over to Tikki, picking her up.

"This looks familiar. Isn't this that toy I gave to Prince Ali?" Chloe asks. I nod, giving Tikki a cookie who flies in my purse bag.

"The reason I wanted her so badly was because she was sick and needed to be healed." I explain. Chloe nods before smirking.

"You should totally sleepover tonight. We both are friendless at the moment so this is perfect." Chloe says before grabbing my hand and dragging me off of the roof and into her room.

"Wait! What about Sabrina?" I ask. Chloe just shrugs.

"She isn't talking to me right now." Is all Chloe says before sitting me down on her couch and pressing a button on the intercom. "Send up some snacks for a sleepover." She says before turning to me.

"Why are you being so nice to me? I thought you hated me." I ask, looking down at my hands that are in my lap.

"I don't hate you. I'm more jealous. How can you be so happy all if the time? You brighten everybody's day. I thought that if I was mean to you then I could remove these stupid feelings but instead, it just drove my only friend away." Chloe says, hugging me. I slowly wrap my arms around her as well.

"I always try to show everybody that I am happy, yet I always feel alone. I now feel even more alone now that Alya hates me. I've always wanted people to smile, even if it means I'm not happy. I guess that's why I was chosen to be Ladybug." There is a knock at the door before a butler comes in. He pushes a tray full of snacks such as chocolate and crisps/chips.

"Movies okay?" Chloe asks, picking up the remote. I just shrug.

"If I am sleeping over then I'm going to go get my things. Tikki spots on!" I shout. As soon as my transformation is finished, I jump out of the window and swing towards my house, landing on my balcony before taking my transformation off and quickly packing both my school bag and a set of clothes which is a pair of jeans, a black shirt and a black car hoodie that I brought as a joke to Chat Noir. I usually wear it when he visits which isn't a lot. I quickly go downstairs to see my parents sitting in front of the television.

"Oh Marionette. I didn't see you come home." My mother says, facing me. I just smile.

"I'm going over to sleep at a friends house. Don't worry, I won't miss school." I say.

"Sure. If you need anything then just call." My father says before turning back to the television, wishing me a good night. I walk out of the house to see Chat Noir running on the rooftops. He stops when he sees me walking and lands next to me.

"Hello Purrincess. Where are you going this lovely night?" He asks me, now walking with me.

"I'm going to a friends house for a sleepover." I tell him.

"Who might this friend be then?" He asks, extending his weapon and leaning on it.

"Chloe." Chat falls off of pole, shocked.

"Chloe? But I thought you didn't like her?" He asks. I shrug.

"It's a long story. My friend Alya yelled at me and slapped me twice. Chloe comforted me and now we are hanging out." I tell him. He gives me a confused look.

"Alya? What did she say?" I just sigh.

"She called me a clumsy weakling because I was an hour late to meet up with her. Everybody was watching us as well. Even Chloe. We talked now we are having a sleepover where we rant about our lives. Sabrina isn't talking to her either." I explain. Soon, we reach the hotel.

"Well princess, I will take you up but then I must leave you." He tells me, picking me up bridal style and jumping up the hotel and to Chloe's balcony. I don't notice my arms are wrapped around his neck until he puts me down and takes my arms off of him.

"Sorry. We'll see you soon." I say before waving and walking into the room, Chat jumping away. He does the night duties since he has night vision.

"There you are. Why was he doing here?" Chloe asks, walking up to me.

"He saw me before I could transform so he walked me here. Now what are we going to do?" I ask. Chloe smirks.

"We are going to rant about our best friends. Or any problem we have." She says, turning on some music instead of the movies. I just shrug before sitting down.

"You go first." I say.

"Well Sabrina was my only friend as you know. We did everything together but then she started ignoring me. She won't even look at me! I didn't do anything. I had just brought her a necklace for our anniversary of being friends! It was very expensive. Sometimes I just can't stand her." She rants, finishing her rant after about ten minutes.

"Well I say you either confront her or figure out why she is doing this." I say. Chloe wipes the tears from her eyes. Her tears of frustration.

"Your turn Mari. Can I call you Mari?" She asks.

"Sure! Anyway, every time an akuma attacks, I obviously have to run and hide so I can turn into Ladybug. Alya thinks it's because I'm weak and a wimp. It's so frustrating how she is always trying to figure out Ladybugs identity. She never thinks about how I would feel as Ladybug if that's happened. She also has the nerve to call me weak! I save this place all the time. Sure she doesn't know I'm Ladybug but she's my best friend and owns the ladyblog. She should have at least figured it out by now!" I finish my rant, falling back into the couch before sighing. "If she was really my friend then she wouldn't pester me. She would be forgiving and not a jerk." I mumble.

"We don't need our best friends! From now on, we will be friends. I will give you confidence and you can teach me how to be more kind and make more friends." She says, grabbing my hands. I smile.

"We would be unstoppable." I say before nodding. Chloe hugs me around my neck like she usually does with Adrien.

"Let's go to sleep. We should get to school early tomorrow so we can get our seats." Chloe informs me before getting up and dragging me to a bedroom. It has a queen sized bed. "This is your room. I'm just next door if you need me. Goodnight." Chloe says before leaving. I get changed into pyjamas before turning the lights off and getting into bed, going to sleep.
