In this story, Marinette smiles. She sees a message that reads, "Hi, soulmate. You okay?'

She has been getting these messages since she turned seventeen. It has been two years since then and she has not met him yet.

    He as in her mysterious soulmate got a message two years ago that said to click on the purple button and instructions about his soulmate would appear. He did and that was when it showed him her birthday, phone number, favorite color, and favorite anime characters.

Also, Adrien does not exist in this story because he was never born. Ladybug and Chat Noir are not real, and neither is hawkmoth, etc.

    Marinette's POV:

I checked to see if he sent me a message.

What message? I am glad you asked, ever since I turned seventeen, I have been getting these messages from my soulmate. I am not sure how he found my number.

I smile. It has been two years already since he sent me his first message. That means we're supposed to meet soon.

   "Hi, soulmate. You okay?" The message read.

"Yes, how about you?" I ask.

"Yes, thanks for asking, " I type in and hit the send button. I smile as it says text sent.

"Bug, what are you up to?" This was the response he sent back.

"Thanking about you," I texted him.

There was silence for a moment there. Did something happen to him?

"You there?" I texted.

"Yes, bug," He texted me.

"Good, cat," I texted back.

"Do you like the anime characters, Levy and Gajeel, Wendy and Romeo, Juan and Pyrhha, Nora and Ren?" This was the text he sent back.

"Yes, but you already knew that," I texted him.

"Checking to make sure you had not changed your mind," He texted.

 "Before you started to send me these messages, I was dating a redhead, Nathaniel, " I texted.

"Why would you do that? To make me jealous?" He texted me.

"It was before I knew you were my soulmate, and before he..." I texted

"Before he what? Died, moved, what?" He texted...

"No, it was before he cheated on me with that blonde mean girl, Chole," I texted.

"I am sorry," He texted...

"Don't be, because I am  meant to be with you..." I texted him.

"I feel the same, " He texted me.

*Author's note: Awe, the two sound so cute.

  "What about you?" I texted.

"My only previous girlfriend was Kagami, but she left me for this guitar boy who lulled her away with his tunes, or melodies as she put it," He texted.

"Oh, that is too bad," I texted.

"It is fine because they are happy together and I will hopefully be the same with you." He texted.

I smiled. How is it my mysterious soul mate could have this effect on me? I did not know his name and as far as I knew he did not know my name either. Not that it mattered since there was no guarantee even us soulmates would end up together.

Most of the time it happened that way, but in some cases a person was rejected by his or her roommate. When that happens the rejected one typically starts over in a new town. I frowned. I hope that whoever this cat with the paw prints beside his messages will end up with me. Why?

  I  know I already like him and he seems to like me. Besides, it is better than being alone forever. Or even worse than being rematched with another person whose soulmate rejected them.

"Beautiful," He texted.

"Yes, handsome," I texted.

"I hope to meet you soon," He texted.

 I freaked out.  I know we are supposed to meet soon, regardless, but it makes it seem more official somehow now that he asked about it.
